Set in a pristine country surrounding. Close to numerous award winning wineries in both El Dorado & Amador Co. Apple Hill is just minutes up the road offering endless family fun. Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort is 45 min away. Heavenly Ski Resort & South Lake Tahoe are just a little over an hour away. Sacramento Airport is conveniently located an hour away & Downtown Sacramento is 40 minutes (during non-commute hours) Gorgeous 3 bd / 2 ba custom built new home on 5 acres. 2 twin beds in one bedroom with a large walk in closet, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom also with amble closet space. Spacious master bedroom / suite with a California king and a chase lounge. Master bath has a spacious walk in shower with 2 shower heads, double sinks and a seperate toilet room. Also has a large walk in closet with plenty of shelving and hanging space. A door off the master bedroom leads you out to the large covered deck, offering panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding areas. Huge open floor plan through out the spacious living / dining area & kitchen. Beautiful granite island that seats 8 comfortably. Perfect for entertaining and large families. Kitchen is equipped with top of the line stainless steel appliances and everything needed to prepare meals. (except your groceries) Spacious deck with endless views which is also good for entertaining and outdoor dining. Come enjoy the home and all our beautiful surrounding areas have to offer. Including endless wineries, white water rafting, kayaking, gold panning, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, snow skiing and much more! There is a completely seperate unit below the home that is occupied by the caretaker. It also has a seperate driveway providing privacy to guest. There is a family living in a basement unit of the home. This was not disclosed in the listing. So, while it is very nice inside the home, you have to be okay with another family living below you. And yes, you can hear them. No Wi-fi either. Cell service was good. Otherwise, clean, lovely setting, comfortable. Driveway is gravel and steep down to the house, so just be aware if you have a low riding car.

House lovely. My 77 year old mother in-law stayed in room with two twins, she found them a little high and hard to get on/out of.
I’d like to see more cleaning supplies. We are in a drought, dirt got tracked In on beautiful wood floors and I like things clean, could not find swiffer or dust mop. I know cleaning included, however, my corky personality was bothered by the dirt. Didn’t bother the rest of my family at all! All in all very nice.

Three of the four nights of our stay our sleep was disturbed or interrupted by the comings and goings and loud talking at all hours of the on-site caretaker/son and his companion whose living space was in a lower level of the house. There were dogs on the property that were not always leashed when they were let out. When they were let out in the early mornings, on two of the mornings the caretaker or his companion yelled loudly and repeatedly for them to return. The dogs were shut up in the daytime and frequently loudly whined. The outside deck is just above the driveway and entrance used by the caretaker/son, so there was not a sense of privacy or peacefulness there. Kitchen and bathroom counters were not cleaned--sticky from something. The location was convenient to freeway and shopping and the house was nice with many conveniences.. I visit Placerville often and had hoped this would be a good place to stay for return trips. I was very disappointed.

Pleasantly Surprised
This home was very spacious, secluded and quaint. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the back deck. The deck was quite large and the home is more spacious than the photos showed which was a pleasant surprise. Also, this home is very clean, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer. This place is a great home to gather family together. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Great property for a family getaway in the Placerville area! Spacious home in a peaceful hillside location. Clean and well cared for. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Recommend for a fun family weekend.

Perfect Hangtown hideaway!
With 5 friends from Nevada, New Jersey and Florida we enjoyed a fabulous time at your wonderful home. The living room and kitchen areas were a great space for us to gather. And the bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. Thanks so much for making your beautiful home available. My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on a private, secluded lot. The home was very spacious and exceptionally clean! We didn’t cook or use the kitchen but everything was well stocked if needed. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Highly recommend this gorgeous home, 5 stars!

I was looking for a place to have a small, outdoor, woodsy feel, intimate wedding with close friends and family and this location was just the perfect place for my intimate wedding. We had a lovely stay with our family. Veronica makes check-in and checkout a breeze. Quiet location but close to everything, immaculately clean, which provided comfort during a pandemic. There was ample space for 2 families with teenagers and a young child.

Accommodating owner
The house was very clean, spacious, and lovely. Unfortunately the day we arrived, PG&E cut power in the area due to weather conditions. The owner was great, and gave us an extra night to make up for the inconvenience of losing power. She even gave us recommendations on fun things to do in the area (be sure to check out Apple Hill!).
