Nestled in Arnold, this lovely house for $311 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome (back) to Red Viking! Viking Cabin offers simple elegance, comfort and fun for the whole family! This is an extremely well maintained professionally cleaned newer home. This house fits no more than seven persons. Please review the sleeping arrangements below. The home is professionally cleaned after each stay. The fine lines of this home inspire peace and tranquility. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room, bring the outdoors to you, while preparing meals and entertaining in the open style kitchen. The family room downstairs offers a great space for the teens in your group to enjoy. Three bedrooms and three full baths provide for a large group, with a jetted tub in the loft bathroom. Outside entertaining is a breeze on the back deck, surrounding yourself with a beautiful tree scape and the use of a gas BBQ for those delicious steaks! There is great wi fi, Netflix, Prime, HBO MAX, Disney, Roku, etc. is all set up with the red viking TV’s Includes membership admission to the Blue Springs amenities and clubhouse. All Covid restrictions have been lifted and guests will have full access. You are welcome to use all facilities including the main recreation area. all pools and lake swimming are open and fly inn lake! BLS charges a daily fee for guests. Everything else around Arnold is open with minimal restrictions. The Red Viking Cabin delivers on all levels and you won’t want your stay to end! This house usually fits no more than seven persons. My family had a wonderful time. The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is very spacious and great for two families. In a quiet neighborhood and close to Big Trees and Bear Valley. Highly recommend this cabin!

The house is very nice and clean. There is a great deal of room for family or friends. It is dog friendly also. You can park your car in the garage and there is also snow saucers and sleds to play in the snow.The queen bed on the lower level is very comfortable with a nice memory foam topper. Everyone in my family slept very well. Its a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Big Trees near by and a few lakes and snowparks. Lots to do. Great communication with the hosts. Highly recomend if your looking to stay in the Arnold area.

This place is very well cared for, and has enough space for multiple families to share it without feeling crowded. It was well appointed, clean, and in a peaceful location perfect for sky gazing.
(One minor note: we had hoped to use the associate recreation facility for its pool, but the pool is only open in the summer months, though there is a lake that is accessible so the kids got to do some swimming.)

Had a great visit to the red Viking cabin. Everything we needed was there. Fun cabin with great floor plan. Quite neighborhood. Fully stocked. Would visit again. Easy to work with owner. Big bonus was pet friendly!

We actually “needed” very little but the beauty of the location and home seemed to go on forever! Even though directions and information are very clear, we’re a bit ancient and needed a bit of guidance and the homeowner was SO KIND and very responsive. You can bet next time we head up to Arnold for some environmental beauty we will stay here again!!!

We had a great time. The mountains are beautiful around there. The rec center was a highlight for our grandsons with a swimming pool and fabulous lake for swimming. They were able to play tennis, ping pong, basketball, pickle ball, etc. so much fun.

We stayed here for 4 night in August. We had a really nice visit. We loved the deck, the high ceilings and the well stocked kitchen. We thought the price was good, the communication was very easy and the neighborhood was fairly convenient to town and groceries etc. We love that they are dog friendly too. I did not use the blue springs guest card, but really enjoyed hiking at Big Trees and going to White Pines Lake (free, public, nice). I would love more outdoor furnishings - especially if you came with a group --and a hot tub under those trees would be divine, but that's just me (I live outside most of time if I can). We truly we had no issues or complaints. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and it was easy to check in, check out etc. Thanks!

Although we were in a neighborhood, all we could really see were trees from the living room and deck. It was nice and quiet. Wifi worked great from the cabin. David was fantastic about communication before, during and after. We would stay there again.

David and Nadia were very attentive to our needs and questions. Home is comfortable and nicelty accomodated our family of 10. Would recommend to give better description of community pools/amenities and disclose that there is a $20 per person/day charge. That was a huge disappointment to our kiddos and us when we were all prepped and ready at the entrance. Not financially feasible to pay $200 for a 1-2 hr swim.

I’m we enjoy staying at this beautiful cabin. It is clean and has everything you’ll need to prepare meals plus a wonderful deck to enjoy them. So many fun lakes around the area to relax and play.

One of the best weekends we’ve had In Arnold and a lot of it has to do with the gorgeous and spacious red Viking home. Also David the owner was very quick to respond and answer any questions we had. The house was spotless and a perfect location

This is one of the nicest VRBO's we have stayed in. Everything in the home is beautiful and home is very clean. Has everything you will need for a great stay. Kitchen was amazingly stocked, check in and checkout was so easy. Will definitely book a longer trip there.

Great place, peaceful and plenty of room. Came when there was still snow on the ground. Short distance to Bear Valley, Murphy’s and nice neighborhood to walk your dog. Owners were very responsive.

No need to go anyway for snow, we had the whole back yard full of snow to play and slide. The neighborhood walk felt like you were in a winter wonderland. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked all through our stay.

The owner (David) is awesome and he just makes things easy for his guests like us. This was our 3rd stay at the house and we absolutely love it. Arnold is a perfect little get away spot from the Bay Area and the house is great for a large family. We always have 6 adults, 3 grandsons and a few dogs… perfect place!!! There is an entire loft space we barely use too!

This was my multi generational family’s first stay at the Red Viking, and we can’t wait to come back! The house exceeded our expectations; clean, well stocked, with great space to gather or spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and made for easy meal preparation. Easy check in and check out process.. The host was great at communicating, without being intrusive. Easy drive to Bear Valley ski area and loved that there was space around the house for my grandsons to play outside.

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet as well. For the few days we still had snow, the kids enjoyed sledding on the open lot across the street. Having a level driveway and access to the garage was an added bonus compared to many properties in the area. Owners were a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We would definitely return for another visit in the future!

Staying at the Red Viking far exceeded our expectations! The property was beautiful with a ton of space inside the cabin and plenty of area to play outside. The property owner communicated frequently but was not overbearing. He even offered an extra night at no cost when we ended up getting a ton of snow our last day there. We can't wait to go back.

This is our third stay. We keep coming back as the house is great for large or multiple families. Owner is very good at communication, location is great with just a gently sloped short driveway with garage parking, and great pricing for size of house. Perfect retreat getaway.

We enjoyed your home in the Sierra.
The environment was peaceful, beautiful, and serene. We lived waking up to hearing a woodpecker off in the distance. The neighborhood is quiet, lots of streets to hike up and down everyday.

Our host was easy to reach. It was a very comfortable stay, except for the lack of hot water for showers (at least in the master bedroom main floor) the day we left.

Owner was easy to get ahold of and extremely flexible (we needed to extend our stay).
Home was comfortable, spacious and clean.
Pantry and fridge well stocked with staples to use (ketchup, mustard, mayo, flour, spices, etc) and there were plenty of extra linens. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Exceptional hosts
I and my immediate family unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute, so I can't physically vouch for the place. But my in laws said the house was fabulous, very quiet, and they would absolutely come back
I did have the pleasure of dealing with the owner David, and he was exceptional. He was extremely accommodating and very quick to respond.
