West Point House

Comfortable, clean, great shower, great facilities, easy access

It’s very out of the way (exactly as advertised, but just to note it’s not in walking distance of anywhere) car park was full when we arrived

I had a wonderful stay at West Point House and would definitely recommend it. The whole property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well looked after. What really impressed me was the shared kitchen — the organisation and attention to detail were superb. It wasn't just that there was everything you could possibly need for cooking; there were lots of thoughtful little extras too, such as liners for the air fryer. Everything was clearly organised, including the fridge, freezer and cupboard spaces, which made using a shared kitchen incredibly easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the communal areas were lovely. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. I also have to give a special mention to Jemma and the housekeeping team. After I got home, I realised I'd accidentally left my Kindle under the pillow. I contacted West Point House, and they found it and very kindly arranged to have it posted back to me. Jemma was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, kept me updated and made everything so easy. I would happily stay here again!

I thought the location being near the beach was fantastic for enjoying walks.

There were some ants getting into the room in a gap near the window.

Loved the kitchen facilities, dining room area and lounge area. Was mainly on my own in them. Bedroom was adequate.

No real place with mirror to sit and do my make up. Had to stand to do it or move furniture. Tv on wall arm felt fragile and might break. Frosted glass windows so couldn't see out(room18) think only one like that. Bin not emptied each day. I understand why due to looking out to folk walking into place to to public footpath but I could close the blinds. I would just ask not to stay in that room next time.
