Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of The Beach Club at Anna Maria #9 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center. Accommodations: The Beach Club at Anna Maria is a relaxing, yet modern retreat located across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Choose from our various unit styles including studio, one-, two, and three-bedroom units. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Basically a good place to stay. You asked for a review so there are a couple of things that could be better. The shower was awesome, the door tracks and around the bottom of the tub tiles needed to be cleaned better-the nasty crud that likes to hang out in the corners and along the door track are not very appealing, especially when we pay a cleaning fee. It’s not stuff that won’t come out it just hadn’t been cleaned out. It looked like some new caulking would be beneficial. Also, no sink stopper in the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. All in all-a good place.

The location was great! Lots of great restaurants, bars, and beaches on the island. The pool and hot tub were really nice to have as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the weather was so hot and muggy, we spent a lot of time inside the unit. Very clean with nice amenities. The location was excellent, as all we had to do was cross the street to the beach. Nice sunset views also from the rooftop patio. The pool is a nice feature, the water was quite warm, but I went in it every day of my stay. Unfortunately, I got sick on my last night there and had to be rushed to the hospital. Cheryl in Guest Services is mailing back to me my bath/cosmetic bag I left there. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great brief stay there with my teenage kids. Loved the location because it was across the street from the beach. Mid island so you can get to the north end or south end within 10 minutes. Unit was clean. Had all the amenities we needed. Overlooked the pool which was cleaned every morning. Highly recommend and so glad we stayed there. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The worst thing about the vrbo was the hide-a-bed couch and the lack of a comfy chair bc there were 3 of us. We are hoping to come back!

Great location, steps from the beach, which was not crowded at all. The unit is in desperate need of updating. Everything in the bathroom was worn out and not very clean. The mattresses were cheap and worn out. Disappointing for the cost of the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The condo was small but sufficient for the two of us. It was next to the pool which got pretty noisy with kids but they did calm down in the evening. The location is excellent and the beach is outstanding.

I enjoyed where Royal Beach was located. Great neighborhood feel behind us the beach on the other side. No high rises! I must say our furniture could have been more comfortable. The couch had seen better days and we could have used a cozy side chair. I didn't like sitting in a kitchen chair at night watching TV.

The rooms were clean and it had all the basics you would need in the kitchen. The pool and hot tub were nice. The outdoor shower was also great so you could come in from the beach, rinse off and hop right into pool or hot tub. There was also spots to rinse just your feet or shoes off before you walk into the condo. There was a small table outside the door that was shaded which was a nice place for morning coffee. The only slight down side of this place is that the fold out bed from the couch is very worn out and uncomfortable. For small kids it might be fine, but an adult couple does not have a great time sleeping on it. We still enjoyed our stay though! There is also beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties and other beach items that all the guests have access to which is so convenient!! Overall a great stay!

We realized about 9 pm the air wasn’t working. The manager did coke out to fix the ac and did apply a discount to our stay. This was our first trip to Anna Maria Island. If you are looking for that beautiful gulf ocean without large crowds this is your place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was very nice. I do have to say that the seating was NOT comfortable at all. They had a couch and four kitchen table chairs that were very uncomfortable. My wife and grandson sat on the couch, I was left to sit on one of the chairs, which again was terrible. My back and legs were hurting after just a few minutes. I would add a comfortable chair for some additional seating to help.

This was our second visit to the Beach Club at AMI. Last year we were only able to stay 2 nights which we loved. This year we stayed 3 nights which was even better. Next time we are going to shoot for an entire week as we did not want to leave. The accommodations were fantastic, especially with the pool just a few steps away from our room. Everything inside was up to date, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was modern with all newer appliances. The walk to the beautiful sandy beach was no more than 3 minutes. The trolley went by about every 20 minutes which was extremely convenient and always within a minute or two of the scheduled stop time. The walk to the trolley stop was also about 3 minutes at most. Trolley is free except for a tip if you choose which is still a great bargain. Everything about the Beach Club at AMI was perfect. We absolutely loved our stay....Again!!

Everything was great except maybe for the mattress on the pull out couch and the water pressure in the shower. Difficult to rinse out thick long hair. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach chairs on the beach were plentiful. Weather was wonderful!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, staff was friendly, location was perfect with the beach just across the road. The road has a blind curve but for the most part drivers there are aware and slowed down. Beach was perfect. Trolley stops just a doors down from resort. Short trolly rides to different areas of the island. We already booked another stay next year.
