The Guest House shares a sunroom with the main house where your hosts reside but otherwise is an entirely separate home. Group Size: Depending on the composition of your group, the guest house can accommodate groups of 8 to 10 people. However, to ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay, we have limited the instant booking feature to 7 guests. If you would like to book the guest house for a larger group, please contact us and we will go over our accommodations with you to ensure they suit your needs. General Rules: • Check-in time is after 4:00 PM and check-out time is by 11:00 AM unless agreed upon in advance with your hosts. • Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM • No smoking and no pets inside the house. • Please, no outside footwear on the wood floors and do not use your luggage rollers on the wood floors. They are beautiful real wood floors - be kind. • Close and lock all doors and windows when leaving the guest house. Occupancy: • The maximum occupancy is equal to the total number of registered guests. Additional guests must be cleared with your hosts ahead of time. Use of property: • This tenancy is for residential vacation accommodations only. • Parties are not allowed in the guest house under any circumstances. However, we welcome respectful gatherings of families and friends. Should you wish to hold an event, please discuss it with your hosts ahead of time to discuss ground rules and potential fees. • The wood stove in the basement cannot be used by guests. It is a secondary heating system to be used only by your hosts in the event of a winter power failure. Use of the hot tub: • Why do we have rules around use of the hot tub? Well, you can blame the guys that ate mushroom/olive cheesy toasted baguettes and dumped a plate full in the tub and the few folks that decided it'd be a great place to take a bath. • Help us maintain the water quality by going in clean (please wash off creams, lotions, and bug spray prior to use) • No use of bath products in the hot tub. • No food in the hot tub. • Children must be accompanied by adults. Play Yard: • For those travelling with children, we also offer shared access to the main house playground. Adults must be present to supervise children at all times. Cleaning: • We don't expect our guests to do any laundry (towels/bedding) or clean the house before checking out, in fact please don't, but we do expect our guests to behave like grown-ups and not leave the house a complete mess. But please... • Throw out your leftovers. • Clean your dishes and start a load in the dishwasher before checking out.

This property was a great place for our family of 6 to get together. We came from three different locations for our family reunion. Enjoyed husky Mushing the Spa and we did get a peek of a Northern Light ( not lights). The house is well equipped and our Host was Super. Thank you All and Carolyne for a wonderful week, and accommodating us so our family could all be together.

This place was everything we had hoped for and more. Lots of room. Beautiful inside and out. Well furnished with all necessary amenities supplied. My son had a medical emergency our first night there and Al was very helpful and compassionate. Gave us their landline to call an ambulance, talked with 911 operator, waited outside to guide the ambulance, and left us a landline phone for the week in case we needed it. (Cell phone was spotty). He was great and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Answered any questions I had about the area, gave us suggestions…. Just amazing. Other than that, like I said the accommodation is perfect. You should not hesitate renting this place. You will not be disappointed!!

The lodge is gorgeous, the surrounding area is breathtaking and Al is a delightful host. We were so lucky that we were able to stay at the Cranberry Lodge. It's well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. Although it would have been helpful to have a rental car, we enjoyed walking to Scout Lake and relaxing in the hot tub and grounds.

We stayed with Al and Carolyne in August 2023. Their guest home was immediately kept and has everything you need and more! Considering we drove from Edmonton, it is a quick drive to wherever want to go to see the sites the Yukon has to offer and then enjoy a soak in the hot tub at the end of the day. It was wonderful to have main floor bedroom for my mom who has arthritis and has a hard time walking up and down the stairs. I would highly recommend your next stay be a Cranberry Lodge!

We used Alains property mainly in the hope of seeing the Lights. We were not disappointed with two showings within the week. The property had three good sized rooms for six people to enjoy with space, good kitchen dining room and chairs. Hot tub was a bonus, though a little too much on the chemicals by the hot tub guy, and plenty of firewood for the fire pit. Nice and clean, lots of heat. The TV area was away in a corner and that suited us as we were more into chatting with friends and playing board games etc round the dining table. We really enjoyed the vacation, and lots to do in winter in Whitehorse

Cranberry Lodge offers an exceptional experience, with perfect hosts who offer friendliness, warmth, clear directions, responsiveness and invaluable advice. The lodge's location in the serene Ibex valley offers breathtaking views and is an ideal spot for viewing the Northern Lights, plus it's only a short drive from the Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs. The lodge itself is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, with an incredibly well equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, comfy beds and well-stocked bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need: plenty of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, etc There are even books, games, TV with Netflix and strong WIFI -- for the long winter nights. The outdoor space includes an amazing hot tub, fire-pit, snowshoes, sleds, and a playground area. Overall, Cranberry Lodge is highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy, comfortable, and unforgettable vacation rental experience.

Lovely property and well equipped. We wanted to stay outside of Whitehorse, and this fit the bill perfectly. A car is absolutely necessary, and everything is roughly a 30 minute drive. There is a lot to do in the area, and we were out and about most of the time. We would love to go back in the summertime too. Great vacation, and wonderful to escape to a slower pace.

My best friends and I all did a college reunion at Al's cabin and absolutely loved it. The cabin was a perfect place to hideaway from the world for a few days and enjoy the wilderness. Al was kind and thoughtful host.
