About this house rental
Situated in Carolina Beach, this lovely house for $225 per night is a great option for your next break. This 1938 Dutch colonial beauty is rich in history and has been completely renovated and updated. Nestled just blocks from the ocean to the east and wooded parks to the west, this home is in the perfect location for all island activities. This historic home boasts 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths with the capacity to sleep up to 14 people. Note: Towels and linens are not provided. This five-bedroom uniquely designed home is located only 4 blocks from the Boardwalk and the ocean, easily accessible by a multi-use bike/pedestrian trail just across the street. There is a fenced-in patio on the side of the house, and a deck on the back with an outdoor shower. Every bed has pillows and comforters. Towels and linens are not provided for this property. Towels and linens can be rented from Seaside Linen. Total sheet sets needed: 3-Queen beds (queen sheets will work on XL double), 1-Queen sofa bed, 1-Double bed, 1-Double futon bed, and 4-Twin/trundle beds. The upstairs sleeps 10 comfortably and features 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen with en-suite bath with an adjoining bedroom with a single bed and trundle; bedroom 2 has a double XL bed; bedroom 3 has a double bed; and bedroom 4 has a twin bed with trundle. Also, the upstairs loft has a double futon. The downstairs sleeps 4, and featuring a master bedroom with a queen bed and an en-suite bath, as well as a queen pull-out sofa in the living room. Rentals are flexible, with 3-night minimum stay. There is parking for 4 to 5 vehicles in the back of the property. History- Monty Sly built this house for his family in 1938. The family lived in the downstairs and rented out the upstairs rooms during WW II to young wives whose husbands were in the service. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, romantically rich in history and close the beach this is your place!

This house is absolutely perfect! Very roomy and lots of places to sit the number of people it sleeps is wonderful and you still don’t feel crowded. The location is perfect as well.

Right on the corner and less than a half mile walk to the beach. Small enough from a family yet big enough for 9/10 men to share their own place to lay their head.
A few very minor issues. (1) The dishwasher, I couldn't get it to start. Later one of the guys finally got it to work. (2) The cleaning people forget to cleanout the coffee pot and AC vent
(3) The window in a the upstairs room to the right needs some TLC.
Overall, I would stay there again. My group enjoyed the place as well. My rating is 4.6 out of 5.

We absolutely loved the place it was very clean and super easy to communicate with the host. Perfect location as well because it was in walking distance from the beach and all restaurants!

Great location, near beach, arcade, food, bars, second time renting this place. Had everything that you need except the washing machine was broken so had to use a laundromat (new one had been ordered). Everyone said they would like to rent it next year.

Such a cute adorable house in lovely area. Our only disappointment was the fenced in patio as it was not safe for our toddler. We loved this house, the location and all the things included.

The house is much more roomy than the photos show. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is the best stocked of all the homes I've rented. Local help was available if we needed, which we did not need. Neighborhood was nice and friendly. Close to eateries, bars, ice cream, board walk, amusement park, and best of all, the beach. I'm 72 and could walk everywhere in 20 minutes. We plan on booking for next year as soon as we as we check everyones calenders. BEST PLACE EVER!

My daughter, two grandsons, and I loved this house!! It sleeps 14, so the four of us had plenty of space—each of us had a bathroom!! It is easy to get to the boardwalk, amusement park, Britt’s Donuts, and the beach. We rented a gas golf cart which made it even easier to get around and parking.. We were super happy with our experience. And a bonus was the friendly neighbors across the street. Thank you, Ruth and Debi, for the early checkin! We plan to be back next year to make more happy memories in the happy house!!

best house ever. me and all my friends came here after graduation for a little trip and had the best time ever. So much bigger than we were expecting and so many rooms/ places to sleep. the house is laid out very well. we are going to try and do this trip every year now, had so much fun

Perfect Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was charming, spacious, and walking distance to all of our destinations. We had 4 teenage boys and 4 couples staying in the house, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out. Highly recommend, and we’ll be staying here again!

Excellent accommodations in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the action
This home had the perfect blend of private spaces for each of us (5 separate bedrooms with extra beds, and 4 bathrooms) and shared space to accommodate 7 friends who had not seen each other for a long time. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but everything we needed was a short walk away. The beach was beautiful, Tony Silvagni surf school helped setting up our chairs/umbrellas, and Ida Thai was delicious! We would recommend this place without hesitation.

We loved our little B & B on the beach! It was perfect for our family of 4 adult children with kids of their own. It was great to have enough bathrooms to accomodate all of us. We had everything we needed throughout our entire stay and we loved the distance to the beach. It's the best place we've stayed!

This place was everything described and more! Great location, kid friendly neighborhood and close enough to walk to the beach/boardwalk.
