About this cottage rental
When I walked through the doors of this home for the first time I was taken aback by all the old style charm this home has. You will find knotty pine in the living area. An open space for you and your family to enjoy time around the house or you can escape to rest and relax in one of the four bedrooms. The house comes with two full baths (one has a standup shower you can dance in the other has a tub/shower combo!). The porches are great too. Sit on the ocean side and go back in time to when the hustle and bustle of life was not the extent it is today. You will hear the waves rolling in and just in time you can take a walk on your private deck to the sand. If you fancy lying in the sun, there is plenty of deck and chairs for you to do this too. And like my sister always says..."we never eat inside" so I've put a full dining set on the front porch for you to enjoy. The back porch facing the road is where you will get your sunsets and be ready for them. They are amazing. You will enjoy an old time boardwalk, great sand, huge beach and within walking distance to nightlife, games, and everything that there is to enjoy about CB. Especially Britt's Doughnuts! Wow..

We couldn't have been more happy with our experience at Pirates Chest. The location was perfect, walking distance to the center of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. The house had everything we needed for a family beach vacation.

Rebecca’s home was clean, beautiful, cozy, and ideally located near everything at Carolina Beach, especially the beach itself! The house was laid out comfortably for 5 adults, with large bedrooms, a massive couch to relax on at night and a roomy kitchen. We spent hours reading on the back porch, enjoyed the cornhole set up in the fenced back yard, and of course, very much appreciated the easy access to the beautiful beach! The wrap around porch and gated walkways worked well for our two miniature schnauzers. Having the use of a propane grill was a big bonus, as was the use of the double garage for our cars. We walked to coffee and Brits donuts many mornings and to dinner in the evening. This was our first time at Carolina Beach and we were impressed with the walkability and character of the town and, especially, how clean and gorgeous the beach is. Rebecca was an incredibly responsive host and it was clear that she cares a great deal about this house. We all agreed that we hope to stay here again! We highly recommend this property!

This place is cozy, well furnished with all that you need. Has a nice fenced in yard that worked great with our dogs. The set up is very pet friendly. Being able to walk right out to the beach made it nice to take morning coffee will watching the sunrise. Plan on going back. Host was very nice and responsive .
