Für eine Nacht in flughafennähe zu empfehlen

Die Lage zum Flughafen war für eine Nacht nach dem Langstreckenflug super. Ein Fahrer vom Hostel hat mich Flughafen abgeholt

Great for a night!

- Convenient location near the airport - big rooms - great price - food truck available - friendly staff

- cleaning could improve - a little noisy due to the airport - staff is friendly but not very helpful - food truck is great concept but worst casado I’ve tried and expensive (red beans instead of black beans, no tortillas, no picadillo, and cold despite been microwaved)

Super für einen stop vor der weiterreise

Die unterkunft ist sehr nahe am flughafen. Für eine nacht vor der abreise ist diese unterkunft perfekt!

Man hört in den zimmern sehr gut, wenn leute am gang sprechen.

Es muy cercano al aeropuerto, pero realmente no se escuchan los aviones como para no poder dormir. Lo recomiendo solo como para pasar 1 noche.

Las habitaciones son pequeñas tal como la foto. Por el tipo de habitación compartida, encuentro que el precio es elevado. Los baños no eran tan cómodos, en mi caso no salio agua caliente de la ducha.

I will go back again, next time through!

The breakfast was delicious! A great example of Costa Rican cooking. Portions were generous. It was great to have the affordable option of a private room. They were wonderful to arrange picking me up and dropping me off at the airport, and it is very close.

The private room was right near the food truck and sitting area, so a little busy in the evening.

Conveniently close to the airport, great service from the staff, very good value for money.

There was no common room to spend some time outside of the sleeping room.

The hostel offers taxi service to airport for USD 5 and they have a decent food truck on the parking lot of the hostel.

It is quite noisy.

Absolutely great for the “hostel” type of accomodation.

Eine-Nacht-Flughafenhostel, einfach, gut, günstig- in Ordnung

Die Lage zum Flughafen ist super, genau das, was wir gebraucht haben. Top für eine Nacht. Das Bett war ziemlich sauber, alles unkompliziert. Gemeinschaftsbad war auch in Ordnung und gepflegt, unten die sind besser als oben. Die Abholung hat prima geklappt und wenn man unsicher ist, eine Option, allerdings überteuert. Uber ist günstiger, muss man aber ein paar Schritte vom Flughafen weg, die Taxifahrer dort sind recht aggressiv (kein Wunder, verlangen sie doch deutlich mehr..). Zwischen 23 und 6 Uhr ist es recht ruhig, aber Ohrenstopfen sind allemal sinnvoll, schließlich mitten im Nah-/Fernverkehr, deshalb hat man es sich ja ausgesucht, oder? Frühstück gibt es im Streetfood-Wagen morgens im Hof. Die Qualität ist gut und mehr als reichlich und selbst die aufgeschnittenen Früchte „folgenlos“ 😉. Der Raum war sauber geputzt und tierfrei, das Bettzeug gewaschen, aber.. wir nennen es „asiensauber“. Passt auch für Costa Rica… Das WLAN schnell und stabil. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Für eine Nacht würde ich dort wieder übernachten.

Einige beschweren sich über Fluglärm…Mal ehrlich, man kann das Pro (nahe am Flughafen) nicht plötzlich zum Kontra machen. Was will man denn nun. Klar sind die Fenster nicht top isoliert, aber man zahlt 30€, nicht 230, dann muss man eben in eines der reichlichen Hotels. Handtücher wären noch nett gewesen.

If you need a clean, cheap place to stay near SJO, stay here. It is perfect for a quick night.

This place is super close to the airport. Has a driver to take you where ever you need to go, including to and from the airport. Staff was nice. They set up taxi if needed too. The food truck there is convenient and tasty. The rooms are just bunks. Bathrooms and showers clean.

No way to communicate with the staff (no whatsapp number that I could find) No lockers Could hear airplanes quite loudly (but for me, this was not an issue as I brought ear plugs).

Locatie is heel handig.

Het is super gehorig, dus na 5 uur hebben we niet meer geslapen vanwege de vertrekkende mensen en de food truck buiten.

Cheap, clean, close to airport.

Clean, good showers/restrooms, nice staff, A/C, quiet inside despite proximity to airport departures. Food truck. They coordinate a cheap $5 taxi to and from the airport. I actually walked from the airport, but I don’t recommend it crossing the highway with lots of gear.

No real common area to congregate and socialize, but outside around the food truck is OK.

prima voor 1 nacht

Locatie naar de airport toe is heel fijn. In 10 minuten ben je op de airport. Wij hadden een prive kamer, die was ruim. Er is mogelijkheid om op het terrein te eten. De (huur)auto staat veilig achter de poort in de stad.

Het is redelijk gehorig en de vliegtuigen vliegen heel laag over. Tussen 23.00 en 05.00 was het stil bij ons.

Pour une nuit de transit, C’est parfait. C’est propre. Sinon, petit déjeuner hors de prix.

Les toilettes sont en dehors de la chambre. Idem pour les douches. Impression d’auberge de jeunesse.

Perfect night by the airport - thank you!

Perfect for a night needed near the airport. Extremely friendly and helpful, very clean, homely feeling. Good value for money. Food truck on site.

It’s cheap and is close to the airport. I wish there were move private room options

It’s close to the airport and decent facilities.

It’s not close to any food and the food truck closes at 10pm. If you coming in from a late night flight don’t expect to get food when you get there.

Alojamiento al lado del aeropuerto

Habitaciones e instalaciones muy limpias, las sábanas olian muy bien. Ofrecen toalla y algo de jabón. Se encuentra a solo 8 minutos en coche del aeropuerto, el taxi sale como a unos 2 euros.

Las paredes son muy finas y se escucha el ruido de afuera, especialmente si hay gente hablando, también cuando pasan los aviones.

Horrible alojamiento

Está bien que tenga servicios tipo que te venden tarjeta Sim o te puedan facilitar un conductor, pero el hostel no me gustó absolutamente nada

La habitación era exclusivamente interior! Y parece que la mayoría, es un zulo, no hay ventilación ni iluminación natural ninguna, es agobiante quedarse ahí, el peor alojamiento en el que he estado en mi vida, no cumple las condiciones de habitabilidad que debería cumplir un alojamiento, por muy barato que sea, no me parece digno.Ademas las paredes eran muy finas y se oía todo durante la noche: cada vez que llegaba un huésped, ronquidos, etc.

this is quite good place for stay if you have a morning flight from San Jose internationa airport SJO. Better wear shoes becouse feet can change color for red ;)

There is a lack of markets around the area, better buy something earlier if you really need something

Good spot to crash next to the airport on a budget.

Good value for the price and location next to the airport. The Toucan truck was a surprisingly good burger and last meal in Costa Rica. The staff helped a lot with transport to the airport and were very flexible.

The shared bathrooms were of okay cleanliness, but it is a hostel so this is to be expected.
