The hotel felt very safe and secluded even in the middle of the town. The restaurant on site was wonderful and very convenient to be able to pay with the room tab. Great vegetarian options. Very helpful staff when organizing massages, surf lessons, tour trips, taxi to the airport, etc. Everyone was friendly and always there to help when needed. They were able to offer us an air conditioned and ground floor room for a different price when we got there, but it was appreciated because we didn't realize the difference while booking online.
of course with the atmosphere/layout of the hotel there weren't conveniences available like elevators or paved sidewalks.

We love loved our room, and all the facilities to relax and sunbathe. The staff was super friendly and nice!
The electricity was going on and off all night (a problem of the town). The salty water in the showers doesn’t really help you refresh, would be great to have fresh water.

Everything, the spot is curated in such a way that you don’t need to leave it. There are plenty of chill out areas, good food, variety of pools and things to do. You could even watch the ocean from the hammocks on the terrace.
