This 6 bedroom 4 full baths plus 2 half bath home has a Private Pool. The home offers amazing views and a large ocean front balcony. The elevator has access to all 3 floors. The 3rd floor has a large open kitchen, spacious living room and dining area and a half bath. The 2nd floor has 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The 1st and 2nd bedroom have a king bed with a private bath. The 3rd bedroom a King size bed and the the 4th bedroom, 2 Queen beds. These 2 rooms share a bath. There are also 2 additional bedrooms on this floor that share a bathroom, each with a set of twin size bunk beds with a trundle. The 1st floor has a laundry room, bathroom and a one car garage for your use. This home is BEACHFRONT, located close to the community golf accessible boardwalk. NO BOATS, TRAILERS, OR STREET PARKING ALLOWED. LIMIT THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES IN YOUR PARTY TO 5, PER HOA. Port A Beach Buggies offers special rates for guests staying at Gulf Waters RV Resort. Reserve a cart online at /gulf-waters or call Scott at Gulf Waters requires proof of vaccination for all pets. This must be been presented to the onsite Gulf Waters office at the time of check in. We were looking for a place to watch the waves roll in and this property did not disappoint. It’s a lovely home that was very well stocked. Plenty of space for our large group to relax and visit. The elevator and second fridge were appreciated amenities. Unfortunately, the windows with the amazing views had quite a bit of sea salt build up. We found that a few bottles of Windex Outdoor and a squeegee remedied the problem. Also, upon arrival we found the private pool was green and not very inviting. The management company was quick to respond, but it wasn’t until the fourth day of our stay that the pool was ready for swimmers. A definite disappointment, but we were satisfied with the management company’s handling of the situation. We also had a problem with the AC, but this was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. No batteries in the tv remote when we arrived, but again, an easy fix. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with this property.

First, the good. We were pleasantly surprised that this rental house was as advertised which rarely happens with many rentals. The best part about this house is that it was CLEAN! The photos that are used in the advertisement are accurate. You will not be disappointed. Now for the not so good... some of the drains in the sink and showers drain slowly... bring Draino! The house needs to be sprayed by a professional exterminator as we did see roaches in the kitchen... bring RAID! Lastly, the pool had quite a bit of sand in it. It would be nice if the home owners provided guests with the ability to vacuum the pool and to shock it before use.

We enjoyed it very much. This was our third time at this property.The only negative item is the TV in the main family room. The screen was defective. The lower left quarter of the screen was very dark. We lived with it for 2 days, then called to report it. We were told a repairman would come to take a look and possibly provide a substitute. That never happened. This was disappointing since watching “Shark Week” has become a tradition.The person my wife spoke with seemed to imply that we had damaged the TV and insurance could cover it. The TV was that way from the first time we turned it on. We were disappointed, having paid the amount we had for the rental, that a swift replacement wasn’t forthcoming. Normally, satisfaction ratings would be all 5’s. Not this time.

This has been our favorite house to rent for the past 5 years. The house is beautiful, location is amazing and it is always spotlessly clean. However, this year we had trouble with the elevator. It kept stopping between floors. We were always able to get it to restart by opening and closing the interior door again. That was until the last night when my 81 year old mom got stuck between floors. We could not get it to go. We were able to use the emergency tool and get the outer door open and then pull her out. Very scary for her. This also meant that my 90 year old MIL was then relegated to the middle floor since she was unable to manage the stairs. This has got to be addressed as one of the top reasons we love this house is the elevator access for our elderly parents. When we checked out we told the agency and they did not seem to be too concerned. I am only giving 3 stars due to elevator condition. Otherwise I would have given 5.

We were able to really feel like we got away from the daily rat race for a few days. We had a couple of times that the elevator would stop between floors. For some people this is frightening. Otherwise, absolute perfection.

This was absolutely perfect for our Family. The home was beautiful, very spacious and fully stocked with the necessities. Real close to the beach and I would strongly recommend renting the golf carts. A very well needed family outing 💜🌷🎓

Beautiful home. Great location. We had our family of 16 for 4 nights. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the pool. Upstairs living area was great for the adults and kids.
Definitely need new can opener but other than that well stocked with dishes, cups and pots and pans.

The house was very clean,comfortable,has a great view of the beach.Our family really enjoyed the house,there were eight of us but it will accommodate more comfortably. The only issue is they simply refused to clean the pool and kept saying it was cleaned, but from the we arrived until we left it never was done.

We really like this property and the location. The kitchen is well equipped. The downstairs cook area could be made a little more inviting. The living area could use some lamps. The tv system could be simplified and management could be more generous with towels and provisions given the size of the house and the nightly rent. But I highly recommend the property.

We frequently rent houses and condos in Port A, and this by far has been the best. Having all of the living space on the top floor was so nice because there was plenty of room for a large family to spread out and you look at stunning views all day. This house was also the most thoughtful and best stocked - meaning while usually rentals are stocked with the basics, this had everything and more you could want in even your house at home. We hosted Thanksgiving for our family here and there was plenty of serving dishes, cookware, plates, etc etc. There was nothing we needed that couldn't be found. The weather was terrible this trip, but with the stunning views and large living space, we still felt relaxed and enjoyed the views even though we were stuck inside. One note: The two primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are not on the ocean side which is unusual. In the end, it didn't bother us but worth noting if that's important to you. Also the bunk beds in one room appear to be more kid sized only, but there are plenty of large beds in the other rooms to pick from. However, if all the kids are teens this is something to consider. The house was very clean and in immaculate condition. I wasn't sure about the location being inside an RV park but if you aren't familiar with Gulf Waters, it's not your usual park - the spaces are owned and built out by owners, and there are requirements for RVs staying there so all are very nice. It was extremely quiet and very safe. This end of the island is much quieter than closer to town but it's a very quick drive to any restaurants or anything you need. Highly recommend this property.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in this home and we love it!! It’s not only breathtakingly beautiful, but it’s extremely well stocked. It has everything, but highball glasses :))). Perfect Beach House -We will be Back

Fabulous beach stay!
License to Chill met all our expectations. It was beautiful and comfortable with a great view of the Gulf. The deck was very nice and a great place to spend time.
The private pool was the best feature. The kitchen was well stocked. I would recommend more dish towels and wash cloths. There were only 2 of each.
Future guests should read the elevator directions very carefully. The property management sent someone immediately when we couldn't get the elevator to work properly.
The propane grill on the patio should be replaced. It was rusty and dirty.
Overall, we had a great vacation and would recommend this property.

This is a wonderful family vacation property located right on the beach. The house was very clean and equipped with everything a large group could need. The pool was also a huge asset especially in the afternoon when the beach got too hot. The only thing to be aware of is that if you are renting a golf cart only specific companies can bring them into the Gulf Waters subdivision so double check first. Port A Escapes had an easy check in and check out process and accommodated a late check in easily. We would recommend this for any large groups or families and would definitely rent it again ourselves.

We loved License to Chill. It was just beautiful. Great location and near the beach. The pool was perfect and really added to our vacation. The kitchen was FULLY stocked and the place was very clean when we arrived. It's a little wonky to find as you have to drive thru the RV park to get to the home. Fantastic view of gulf. Hardly any negatives to report. The elevator was on the fritz a few times. Once we got used to operating it, it seemed to work ok. This was my first visit to Port Aransas and we loved it. The water was warm and clean and my entire family loved the waves.

Called the portaescape number and they sent someone right away and showed me how to lock hurricaine door. Everyone was very nice and helpful at gulfshore. We are already trying to figure out next year stay here. This place is as close to perfect as you will find anywhere.

The only thing bad was getting stuck on the elevator with my 4 year old grandson. It felt like 120 degrees, no air. When I called from my phone to the property manager, the first thing they said was “ I will put in a work order”. I explained the severity of the situation and they said they would send maintenance. Meanwhile I called out to my daughter to call 911. While she was in the phone I kept trying to push the buttons in the panel and not even the lights behind the buttons worked. I saw a small box at the top of the ceiling and climbed up and pushed the small lever and shouted out to my daughter to try and open the door. The lever released the magnetic pad which allowed for the door to open from inside the house. My grandson and I climes out. The elevator was stuck between floors. Maintenance came 15 min later. Not sure what our condition would have been had we still been in there. There is a typed sheet on the wall that has some basic instructions. Y’all NEED TO PUT ON THERE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY THERE IS A LEVER ON THE BOX ON THE CEILING THAT WILL RELEASE THE MAGNETIC PAD. Other than that we had a wonderful time and I loved the house !!!!!!

This was a wonderful location for our entire family to enjoy! The only issue we had was that the elevator was broken. We were notified of the problem before we arrived and were given another option if we wanted to change locations. We opted to remain in this house and it all worked out fine.
