Newly updated Cabin throughout that offers everything you will need for your next trip to Saint Germain. Full Kitchen, Full Bath, Large Deck, Pier for your use, shared beach, shared playground, fish house. Dorway drive is directly on the popular Saint Germain BoBoen snowmobile and Saint Germain ATV Club trails. 10 minutes from downtown Saint Germain and Sayner. 539 Acre Full Recreation and Class A Musky Lake So may activities in the area for the whole family including fishing, water sports, zip lining, lumberjack shows, golf, go carting, museums, bicycle trails, horse back riding, and so much more! Five minutes from St Germain. Quiet and peaceful with a few neighboring cabins you share a dock with. Not loud and busy. The cabin is very well thought out with a coffee pot, plenty of pots and pans, no lids but we used Reynolds wrap, a common TV and another small TV with a DVD player in the bedroom that holds a bunk set, single and queen. Ceiling and floor fans in the bedrooms. The living room is spacious with a nice kitchen. Very clean and great hot water. Oh and the tap water is great. No need for bottle water. Overall we’re very pleased and hopefully will come back next year. Sawyer didn’t bug us at all. Very much our space for the week. 😊. Peaceful place.

Cabin in good shape. Directions needs some work. I do not have gps. Biggest thing was kids getting Swim Itch. Of course owner can't control that, just be aware. Overall a good stay.

Cute property with a nice view of Lost Lake. Loved the two bedrooms with king size beds for the adults and the extra room with beds for kiddos. Quick drive into town as well. Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking a few dinners.
Maybe I missed it in the listing, but towels are not included in the linens. Didn’t find this out until I was about to bathe two kiddos before bedtime and closest drive to get some was 15 minutes one way. Also, the bathroom door does not stay latched and swings open which is a bit awkward when sharing a bathroom with another family.

My family was very pleased with the quality, amenities, accessibility, and cleanliness of this cabin. Deer Grove is aptly named because there were deer wandering around most evenings we were there. The check in process was easy. The coded lock worked well, although it would be nice if the mechanism could be set to not lock every time the door closes. It was easy to set a shorter temporary code. The host responded quickly with brief answers to the few questions I had about the door lock, linens, wifi, ceiling fan operation, etc. The heat worked well, the kitchen had great appliances, utensils, and layout. The easy chairs and sofa were comfy, three separate bedrooms with 6 beds altogether, the beds and pillows were comfy and big, lighting was good, and the Direct TV worked well. Lots of shelving, extra bath tissue and paper towels for cleanup. We ate out all the time so did not cook anything, but easily could have. We did not have any problems finding the cabin location, since we've been coming to the Sayner St Germain Boulder Junction area for a long time. If you aren't familiar with the area, it helps to have good cellular reception if you're relying on GPS mapping. The neighborhood is small (approx 6 other cottages/cabins in the immediate area) and was quiet at the time of our stay. Lost Lake has many other cottages on it, so I would imagine it would be a busy lake during the summer season.
A couple improvements to the cabin would be blinds or shades on the windows facing the driveway and lake. No privacy in the living room, esp. at night. If you're staying a week or more, bring your own clothes hangers. In the bathroom, the tub plug seemed to leak, so the tub didn't hold water for a bath, but the shower was great, and there's plenty of hot water. We stayed here in early October, so didn't need AC. That's good because there is no AC. In warmer weather, opening screened windows and a number of floor standing fans, plus ceiling fans are what's on hand to stay cool.
All told, I would definitely stay at Deer Grove cabin again.

Nice cabin and location. It allowed us to have deer camp this year with friends we've hunted with for years, but wanted to be extra cautious with COVID. Property was well kept and the host was responsive to any questions we had. Pretty lake; I imagine this would be a very popular spot in the summer!

Nice northern Wisconsin lake cottage, not on the water but a great view: very quiet relaxing area. The cottage has been recently renovated and is in great shape with all the amenities listed except working internet. Had some difficult finding the right sheets for the beds. The internet was the main issue as we needed internet service for work and was part of the reason we choose the cottage. The owners reply was the internet was only for web surfing. However, when we were there it wasn't working even for that. Had to find internet in Eagle River. Great place! just don't expect internet.

Relaxing
It was clean and the lake was not to busy with boats. Some of the neighbors were a little loud with little children running around. Fishing was great right around the dock. Daughter and I got about 100 bluegills in a couple hours. Thanks for letting us stay at cabin.

Restful and Memorable Stay
In addition to a clean and cozy cabin, we loved the nice mini beach and the shallow waters that allowed the kids to safely play in the lake. The property owner was great to work with. Thanks!

The just right cabin!
The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Also the cabin has been updated and has a comfortable feel. My family is usually ready to go home after a week away, not this year they did not want to leave. Beautiful view of the lake. Everything about the cabin was just right for our vacation.

This cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our yearly summer stay in the Northwoods. The cabin was clean and had the accommodations we needed to be comfortable. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the deck overlooking the lake and were able to park our pontoon on the shared dock. As stated in a previous post, the resident neighbors are not the most welcoming and were quick to call the owner for minor rule infractions (mostly the parking policies). Overall, the owner was great to work with and would look into coming back in the future.

Enjoyed our stay

Great time had by all.
We had a great time in and around St. Germain. The cabin was clean and well stocked, it has a great North Country feel about it. The property owner, sawyer, was quick to answer any questions about the property. The location is perfect with so much to do outdoors. We spent time hiking, biking, rented jet skis, and even slipped over in the Michigan and visited the porcupine mountains. The dock is shared, but no one was using it but us. The lake is clean and Shallow around the dock, so it is perfect for young kids. Very nice bluegill fishing right off the dock, we caught our dinner two different nights. All the neighbors are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to escape for a week, you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks, Sawyer, for renting your cabin to us. It was perfectly located for our needs and adequately equipped. No wifi the first few days was the only problem. We enjoyed the pickleball courts in Saynor daily, basketball in St Germain at the elementary school, the flea market, Wolf Pack, swimming across the lake, fishing and lots more in the area.
