This Meadow Creek condo was perfect for our ski vacation - I read all of the reviews ahead and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming the place was. Yes, it might be an older property - however having a functioning kitchen , great location -next to the bus route and overall space makes up for everything else. Bottom Line - this place is a great value and I would definitely book here again.

Place was clean and location next to walking trails, river and park was wonderful.
Place needs some improvements; tile coming loose in kitchen, oven only had 2 working burners with one that only went to very hot regardless of setting, toaster only worked sometimes, hot in house during day-a fan helps a lot, no gas for grill provided.

overall the property was as expected after reading previous reviews.
Nice location and it was quiet while we were there. There are walking paths and a park nearby. We were on a work trip, so not around much during the day.
The condo itself is outdated but cute. We brought a fan as it did get stuffy in the rooms.
Negatives:
- House gets warm-a fan helps a lot
-Some windows hard to open
-Stove only had 2 burners that worked and one was super hot no matter the setting, so cooking difficult
-No gas provided for grill, so didn’t use
-Toaster worked sometimes, not all the time
-Tiles are loose in kitchen-likely a safety hazard
-Some chairs on deck broke
-Had issues getting in at first-lock boxes did not work and one was broke - called Vacasa and they did help right away
Positives:
Pretty clean
Most beds comfortable
Quiet while we were there
Walking paths and park nearby

Overall, the place was as advertised with convenient bus access. However, the internet/TV weren't working because they hadn't paid their bill. Property agents got it fixed the next day. The window cranks on nearly all windows, other than the north side of the primary bedroom, don't work. Light over the dining table was out. Kitchen had dish soap but no sponge or cleaning tool, no napkins, foil, pepper, etc. We would like a partial refund as one of the property agents mentioned.

The condo was a 4 out of 5. We had trouble with the neighbors and trying to park in the spot we were suppose. We tried to park in the designated spot, but there was too much snow in our spot to park there and we got yelled at and threatened by the neighbor to be towed. There was also no gas in the gas grill for us to cookout. I get this is a rental, but no need to make your renters use the oldest blankets and cookware possible. Update the small things and they go a long way for the renter.

Overall a very good property. It's close to the bus stop so you don't have to drive over to the village and large enough for our group of 6 adults to stay comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms are dated but everything worked and was clean.

Great place to stay while skiing
House is 2 min from a bus stop that runs to the slopes and store. Bus takes about 20-30 min to Vail. House has all you need and a fireplace too.

GREAT PRICE FOR LOCATION
Location of the property is great with Gore Creek, playground and small park right behind the place AND the trail run right behind the property as well. The place could use a little bit of upgrading/modernizing but if you keep that in mind, it's a nice unit.

Clean, close shuttle for skiing, and kid friendly
It was great to have game and puzzles for the family to enjoy together.

Close to the bus, clean and well-maintained.
This three-level house was clean and comfortable. The biggest pro is that it is a 2-3 minute walk from the Vail Green & Red bus, which makes it easy to get to and from the mountain. Parking is partially covered and right at the front door. The kitchen was well-equipped.
The first/entry level has two bedrooms, which would be best for kids. One has bunk beds, the other has two twin-sized beds. Those share a full bath next to the laundry room. The second level has the living room, dining room and kitchen, as well as a half-bath. The top floor has the master bedroom and bathroom. Guests who have trouble with stairs are advised to look elsewhere, but we were fine.
Check-in procedures were wrong. The lockbox is not used at all; instead, the front door has an electronic lock with a code. The instructions should be updated.
Prior reviews mentioned a problem with over-heating the rooms. That problem seems to be solved; we were very comfortable.
For the money, this is a good choice for families. Having the Vail bus is a huge benefit for when different people want to start and stop skiing at different times.

Clean and roomy with a great location.
The location is great for a family ski trip. The Vail Green & Red bus routes are a quick 2-3 minute walk from the unit, which means that skiers are free to come and go as they please.
The unit itself is clean and well-maintained. It isn't "luxe" or fancy, but it was certainly comfortable and good value for the price. The kitchen was well equipped. Guests should know that there are three levels: the ground/entry floor has two BR (one with two bunks, one with two beds), one BA, and laundry. The second floor has the kitchen, living/dining room and 1/2 BA. The top floor is the master bed & bath. That layout was fine for us, but if anyone in your party has mobility issues, be forewarned.
Parking is conveniently just to the right of the front door, and allows most of the car to be covered.
Entry instructions are a little off. There is a lockbox next to the door, but you don't use it for anything. They "lockbox code" that they will send you is really the code for the electronic front door lock.
Other reviews mention a problem with too much heat. That problem appears to be solved; we were comfortable the entire time.

Clean, well-located but tough to control temperature
Loved the location, less than a block to the free shuttle bus. Close to West Vail grocery stores.
Our only problem was controlling the temperature, particularly in the master bedroom. We had the thermostat set as low as it would go but baseboard electric heat wouldn't turn off. Finally had to open windows in near sub-zero temps to get the temperature below 80.
