Our family planned this weekend as a celebration of our Dad’s 75th Birthday. The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect place for us to enjoy family in a tranquil setting. The scenic overlook was amazing and we had an awesome experience exploring outdoors, hunting for rocks, and fishing. The cabin was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed with plenty of room. We will definitely return and our next stay will be more than 2 days.

We have a large family and the Fade Away Lodge was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out, room for several to cook our meals in the kitchen, lots to do in the game room. We hope to come and stay there again. We absolutely loved it!!!!

We had a wonderful weekend! We celebrated our son’s graduation from TTU and his proposal to his girlfriend while at this time. It’s a perfect place for families who enjoy great views, hiking, and a clean home! We will never forget the weekend we stayed here!

Great house, very nice we love it! Love the game room! plenty of room for a family of thirteen we had a great time. Lots of room for parking, love the long driveway and the view of the lake. We do recommend it and we will return. The only issues we found were a couple of light bulbs were out and the gass oven worked fine on Friday but on Saturday the BAKE portion on the oven would not light up so we had to go the grill to worm up some ribs. Had to light the grill with hand lighter, once the grill lit all of the flames were in the front of the grill no flames in the back of the grill. All the burnners needed to replaced and it had no heat shields. The lighting for the deck steps were nonexistent after dark the steps were hard to see. None of the issues dampen our visit it was great.

My husband and I got married in brush creek. We wanted our parents and siblings to stay together a couple of days leading up to the wedding and this was perfect!! It was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and not feel crammed! They made it so homey!

I met up with a group of friends and family at the cabin for an extended weekend and we absolutely loved it. The pictures really don't do the views justice, and everything was so clean and thoughtfully arranged. Our group of 14 felt like we had more than enough space both inside and outside. I highly recommend the property to large groups looking to get away!

This was a family gathering of 18 people. The property was amazing and the view was breath taking. It was very peaceful. The two downsides are there are a few areas that need updating and it could use another refrigerator for all the food we brought for all those people. Thanks for a relaxing wonderful 5 days!

The location was a great location with a lake view. The house was very clean (and the same when we left we cleaned it very well). It had a lot of board games and table games that kept us entertained and all sorts of cable channels and movies.
The only recommendation we have, the kitchen sink is very small compared to the house and the number of people the house welcome, maybe the owner consider installing a bigger kitchen sink and also putting another refrigerator in the first level of the house (one refrigerator is small for a group of friends for few nights).
Outside, the balconies were great with tables and chairs and an amazing view.
Overall, we enjoyed our time in this property. Thank you

This was a superb spot for beautiful views and peaceful moments. The house includes everything one wants to enjoy the indoors. State parks are not too far away to get in a good walk near waterfalls. Local daily boating and weekend horse riding is nearby for a pretty penny.

My father in law passed away about a month ago and this family wedding has been planned for about a year
We did not know at the time of booking some details of this house.
Turns out my father in law poured all the concrete and foundation for this wonderful cabin
So it was an absolute pleasure to stay here !

Everything was wonderful! Only issue was not enough garbage cans and we had to keep garbage bagged in kitchen (already was full when we got there and had to call mgr.). Two cans weren’t enough for the duration of stay.

Overall was a good stay. Was fairly clean. The beds were very uncomfortable and the trail to walk down to the lake was grown up. Other than that beautiful home, beautiful views, quiet neighborhood but close enough to local shops and restaurants.

The pictures are way better than the actual cabin. The inside was ok, but the outside was a let down, especially the “fire pit”. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Ran out of propane the second day, which is something that should be checked prior to guest checking in... not enough refrigerator space to sleep 19. overall it was just ok. Would consider renting again.

Overall everything was perfect except the water pressure. This a huge home that sleeps 19. Only one person could shower at a time. There are 3 bathrooms to shower in but because I of the water pressure only one person at a time could shower.

Over the experience was great. Had a few maintenance issues in the house but nothing that ruined our stay.

SEVERE Septic Issues - NEEDS WORK
While the view is gorgeous, this house is in need of a lot of maintenance. From the very first night, one of our family members took a shower and water and sewage immediately started backing up in the downstairs shower and bathroom! 🤢� it was so gross and the smell was unbelieveable. The downstairs became unusable due to this! We had to call for maintenance 3 times to practically beg for it to be fixed and cleaned up. Outside down the edge of the property there is a pipe pumping out raw sewage! This has been an on going problem we are certain. We believe this because in the downstairs hallway and the bedroom right across the bathroom the fake wood floor is buckled and water soaked with blisters. The outside could use a good power washing and cleanup. Windows are locked and no way for you to open in case of an emergency! Doors need adjustments, very hard to open and close. You are not allowed to adjust any temperatures in the house at all! Pretty sure there is a good amount of mold. My husband has sinus issues and he could tell there must of been something the air conditioner was blowing around in the air. Many issues we think are against safety and health codes.
