Absolutely fell in love with this place. Perfect location, The condo had everything you could want or need for your stay. I even cooked breakfast a few mornings. Management team was very responsive with the couple of questions I had during our time. We walked to all the stores and restaurants. Even has a Publix nearby. We will be back soon !!

Beautiful room with marble flooring and a gorgeous view of the gulf. Beach is less crowded which was ideal for relaxation and a more intimate vacation with my wife. Would recommend this room to anyone looking to travel to the gulf.

We chose the Island Inn because of the close proximity to Caddy's. After dating 7 years we got married on the beach by a friend. Room 521 was clean and fit our needs perfectly, and we appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. We actually left our floating noodles for the next renters. We will try to stay in 521 on our next return.

My wife and I honeymooned in this area and we have not been back since that time. The rental was just as described, the beach is great and right out the front door. The room is small for a “condo” but matches the listing, so no surprise. The tiki bar is a nice add on that most condos don’t have. The only drawbacks at all were the parking which is limited at the building and so you may have to park across the street (still free though), and the check in was a bit confusing. I think that may have been that the person at the desk did. Not catch it when I told her it was a privately owned unit and I just needed the keys and parking pass. It worked out quickly. Then no issues and had a great time.

Great location, pleasant staff, clean linens, room appears clean as you walk in, however several utensils in the utinsil drawer were put away greasy, and the drawer itself was dirty. Enough hair in the refrigerator to make me wonder, what did they clean first with that rag to leave that much hair behind? Blender and cook top were very greasy, which made inside the cabinets greasy. Male underware left in cabinet. Great place if you don't open any cabinets or doors. We cleaned several things ourselves. I took pictures.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I found the listing to be as described. It was clean and just the right size for my husband and I. We enjoyed walking the beach everyday. It is flat and easy to walk, plus there were tons of shells. We saw dolphin while walking the beach too. We made a trip to see manatee at TECO. Had some great food at near by restaurants and a good drink at the tiki bar. We would stay here again!

We were delighted with our stay! The room was exactly as pictured and so conveniently located. We were looking for a quiet vacation and the Island Inn is located a little further away from all the night life so it was perfect! The front desk staff was kind during check-in and i-trips was responsive with any questions we had (which weren't many - great listing and great maintenance of the property). The only "complaints" or possible negative observations we had were, the cleaning products used leave a VERY strong odor to the point our eyes were watering a bit, however, after opening the sliding door and taking a walk on the beach, the room had aired out to the point we could relax. The other item, was we were looking forward to relaxing in the Adirondack chairs pictured, but unfortunately those must not have survived and have been replaced with less comfy standard patio chairs. Other than those two items, the stay was flawless and we hope to return!!!!

Great place to stay as it is just a few steps away from the beach. We stayed a full week and the beach area was never crowded. They provided beach chairs, umbrella and pool noodles which was appreciated. Walking distance or a short Uber/Lyft ride to many great places to eat and shop.

My girlfriend and I found ourselves with an unexpected week off together and decided to see if we could find a place for a quick beach vacation with only about a week to search and book. Being the last week of June I knew the selection would be limited and had very low expectations, but after finding this place and reading the reviews my hope for a decent stay was renewed. Well, we were not disappointed! We knew the Island Inn building itself was an older building, but there wasn't anything about it that we interacted with (lobby, elevators, etc.) that was in disrepair. I thought it had a cool vibe, actually, and the red exterior lighting was pretty neat from a distance at night when walking the beach. We never had a problem finding a parking space, but there is extra parking in the large lot across the road just in case. We never saw more than a handful of cars over there that had to settle for it. Access to the beach was easy. Bathrooms by the pool at the rear of the building were easy to get to if you had to make a run to one from the beach. Want a drink? You can get one at the Tiki Bar by the pool and are allowed to take it back out to the beach with you. The unit itself, 521, was great! We had decided last-minute to fly down instead of making the 12-hour drive one-way. The downside to that being you can't pack your own beach chairs, coolers, etc. Well the unit had us covered! We opened the wardrobe at the entrance to find not only the beach towels they had mentioned, but also a styrofoam cooler, and a couple of beach umbrellas. Located on the balcony were a pair of perfectly suited beach chairs. We had never been in a studio condo before but ended up really liking the layout and how perfectly suited for a couple it was. The tall chairs on the balcony were nice and the wide arms on them made up for the lack of a table between them. The bed was comfortable, though it could stand a beefier frame maybe, but it didn't give us any problems. The AC works very well. The kitchen was well-appointed, although it lacks an oven and proper stove-top (there is a hot plate available for heating things and a microwave), but the extent of our food prep on vacation is usually making sandwiches for lunch and going out for dinner so it was fine for us. As noted by most reviewers, the view is amazing, and sunsets over the water can't be beat! Although this was a last-minute find for us, we have already decided we will likely return!

Property was exactly as pictured. The condo was very clean and free parking right downstairs was so easy. The location was perfect. We were able to watch the sunset from the balcony every evening, walk to restaurants with live music, and relax on the beach with a tiki bar close by. Great low key "old school" beach town.

Great location but disappointed with the property. For a beach property, it would be great to have some sort of doormat to wipe shoes/feet of sand. The dish washer needs to be properly cleaned. We opened it to put things in, and it smells like someone vomited in it. We would have hand washed the dishes, but there were no sponges. The cutlery in the drawers were also dirty. We also drove to the DVD rental and it was not working. We opted to leave a night early.
