Very quit and calm location with friendly staff. Rooms are very niet & clean.Foods were very tasty. Thier garden has a natural Pool with lotus flowers and huge exotic Trees ( Mango, Siyambala etc. ) in the garden that we could sit and having some tea in relaxing environment. Good place to Yoga and Meditation. They orgenized Safari to Udawalawe park for reasonable price. Great place that we will be back definitely next time.

I wanted to do the Udawalawe safari and the owner was able to organise one for me the next morning sharing with another person which was fab as I wanted to share the cost. The dinner and breakfast spread are amazing!!

Quite a few bugs, make sure you use repellent!

Very nice host who also offers safari tours for a reasonable price. He also picked us up from the bus station. The safari was one of our best experience of Sri Lanka. We got very interesting information about the wildlife from the host and also the driver was very patient and had an open eye on everything. We had enough tim to observe and enjoy the animals while other jeeps just rushed through the scenery. The breakfast was awesome. We even decided to have lunch and dinner there which was also very delicious, especially the curd and honey dessert. Very spacious bathroom and strong hot shower. Wonderful garden. Don’t miss the big lotus pond.

The host was exceptionally kind, helpful. and thoughtful. He gave us lots of useful information that made our journey much easier (organized tuk-tuk for resonable price that brought us directly at bus door). The dinner offered by the host was very good - especially if You would like to try homemade SriLankan food. Triple room was nice and very good value for money (it has also air conditioning).

The double room (Deluxe) was probably the last room available and it was very basic. But it was still really good value for the money (anyway clean and bed was the same quality as in triple room).

Usaj is an exceptional host. He agreed to pick us up at the train in Ella and drive us here for a very good price. The room was very clean and comfortable. Usaj took very good care of us! He arranged a jeep safari also at a very good price. He then arranged a tuk tuk to take us 13 km to catch a bus to Tangalle. Beautiful gardens, lovely rooms. Highly recommend!
