I don’t know where to begin. This was our absolute favourite stay during our month in Sri Lanka
Initially was tricky to find, but then Ashini spotted our taxi and brought us in.
They are in the middle of construction but put the whole thing on hold for our stay here which we absolutely would never expect someone to do but she said she didn’t want us bothered by the noise!
You have a whole little cabin to yourself, with a little patio. Inside is beautiful, with two comfortable armchairs, a kettle with tea and coffee, a mini fridge, and the bed was lovely!
There was lovely hot water, decent WiFi (it went in and out but it seemed to do that in the majority of places we stayed in Sri Lanka)
You’re a very short walk from some restaurants etc. but on our first night here after a long travel day, Ashini and her mother made us a lovely dinner and brought it to us on the patio, and set it up gorgeous! This was just so lovely to have as an option especially if you’re here for just a night you don’t need to worry about going out at all you can relax.
Another great thing, Ashini arranged a safari for us. We weren’t sure if we even wanted to do it but she got us a really good price, cheaper than any we could find, and it was just the two of us in the jeep! Her friend the driver was also so lovely. If you stay here (which you should) I would really recommend going with him!
This place was our favourite accommodation by far, not only for everything mentioned above, but because of how welcoming and helpful Ashini was. Thank you for beingf a highlight of our trip. I’m sure we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, spacious loft bungalow set in a lush garden. It was very comfortable and the peaceful setting made it even more special.
Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. As we stayed during the Buddhist New Year, they prepared an absolutely amazing breakfast for us, truly a royal feast and a memorable experience.
We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, authenticity, and warm hospitality in Sri Lanka.

The house itself is simple but spacious, clean and comfortable, with nice lobby with armchairs and a teapot that make it feel a bit like home. Breakfast was great and nicely prepared. The hostess is very welcoming, speaks good English really knows the area well and is extremely helpful with anything you need. We had fantastic stay in Uda
