About this condo rental
Situated in Bradenton Beach, this lovely condo for $295 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Due to Covid virus, there is limited access to restaurants as well as limited services on the island and surrounding areas. Sunset Terrace is a quiet family oriented complex made up of only 18 units. This is not your typical Florida megaplex. We pride ourselves on limited renting. This beautifully decorated, recently renovated two bedroom, two bathroom condo is located directly on the beach and is offered with full amenities. Unit 107 has a master bedroom with queen sized bed, television, and master bathroom as well as private balcony and a second bedroom with two twin beds and full bathroom. The condo has a spacious living area with screened in lanai overlooking the Gulf. There is also a dining room and eat at kitchen bar to complement the fully equipped kitchen. A queen size air mattress with electric pump is also available for additional sleeping accommodations if one can be torn from the lounge chairs on the lanai. Washer and Dryer included in unit. Beach chairs, toys, inflatables included as well. NO PETS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES! NO SMOKING IN THE UNIT, ON THE BALCONY OR LANAI, OR ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY! MASK AND GLOVES MUST BE WORN WHEN TAKING TRASH TO DUMPSTER AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS EXPECTED WHILE UNDER COVID RESTRICTIONS. FREE WIFI AND CABLE NO DISCOUNTS, RESERVATIONS LESS THAN 7 DAYS, OR PARTIAL WEEKS DURING HOLIDAYS. HOLIDAY WEEKS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.

I am an avid reader of reviews before booking and the reviews were all over on this place. My take away is every review is accurate.
The location of the condo is perfect! It’s easily accessible, great parking space, the screened patio makes the place even better, the whole wall opens to enjoy the view/sounds of the gulf, plenty of beach towels/toys/chairs, the pool was so warm, spacious inside, full size washer/dryer was convenient.
5 star all the way on those things, but…it does need some TLC. The blinds need serious help. Several pieces are missing or fall off in your hand when you try to adjust them. We ended up hanging blankets everyday to block the sun. The kitchen is well stocked, but with old mismatched items. An overall top to bottom and inside out cleaning and some touch up painting would be nice. There is no smart tv so no streaming, but plenty of cable/on demand options. The master shower head needs help…we all ended up using the main bathroom shower which did have great pressure. There were some mystery light switches and the main door knob/lock wasn’t always cooperative. The “wet” chair has been covered, but the footstool still felt wet the whole time. We just put a towel over it.
After all that I will say this was the PERFECT Thanksgiving break and exactly what my busy family needed for a week! We are already talking about doing it again—same time, same place—next year!

The location of the condo was great, but the condo itself needed some attention that would make a big impact on returning. Outlets needing replacing, master shower didn't work, Ghost ants all over the kitchen, guest bath lights didn't work, guest toilet ran continuously, master bedroom TV had no sound, living room TV not a Smart TV so we couldn't stream any movies.
A little effort on the owners part would have definitely made a huge impact. We will not be back.

This is a wonderful location in Bradenton Beach. We are repeat customers . We love the condo, your own parking spot, the chairs in the storage area for the beach, and of course the beach and sunsets. You can't go wrong renting from them.

Place is in need of a lot of attention. Was not clean, Clothes in dryer all washed together like dish towels with bath rugs. Pot and pans were so bad we had to purchase new ones to cook with. Hair dryer box but no hair dryer, We purchased and left there. Toaster was so rusted you did not want to use it Furniture is disgusting.. They had a cover on one chair and didn't even fit it Couch was very worn and gross. We had sheets covering furniture at all times. No ceiling fans in any rooms Place smelled very moldy and there were not fans to help ventilate. Light on porch didn't work but my husband did fix that Every time you used hair dryer the breaker would go off. Beautiful setting but place needs so much work.

This property is in a great location, easy access to beach and if you don't feel like a beach day a great pool.
Beach supplies provided were good ie: chairs, sand castle making equipment etc. It was very hot and did not see a umbrella so we bought one and left for others to use.

We loved the location and especially the screen porch! Our visit was cut short due to a hurricane but while we were there it was amazing! The owners were very reachable and worked with us along our stay to ensure everything worked out smoothly!

Overall, great view, location, and space. Well stocked unit as described with comfortable beds. We are older adults and found the stairs manageable--comfortable to climb at our slow pace. :)

We were 100% happy with our stay! This condo is exactly as described and the owners did an amazing job communicating. For our family of 5, this place was very roomy. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the ability to see the beach from our room day and night! We were only there for 4 days for a wedding, and this was perfect!

We never found out how to turn the lights on above the bar area and the lanai ceiling fan light. My suggestion would be to mark the light switches. The pool was clean and heated. The listing should read there are stairs to get to the room. I would go back, we had a great time.

Lazy Days on the Ocean
I’m an older adult from California so this was an easier way for me to be at the beach. The one floor of stairs from the garage were not steep & difficult to climb. My adult niece and nephew enjoyed being there too. We would have liked a power bar upgrade in the second bedroom to plug in our many electronics. WiFi easy to get on . We would stay there again, a good location.

Excellent Location
Loved the location. The unit itself could use a little TLC. Cabinets and laundry closet were a mess. The chair in the living room was damp for at least the first 4 days. We had to put a towel in it in order to sit without getting wet. Only 1 lounge chair on the patio, expected 2 from pictures. Advertised to sleep 6 but only slept 4. I would stay at this location but would definately choose a different unit.

We rented this condo for a girls 60th birthday trip. Communication with the owner was very prompt. We didn’t have a car and it is a good walk to the trolley stop. This might be a problem with someone who has mobility issues. We had to Uber several times.
Beach was beautiful. Used sand chairs out of the storage. Chairs looked very new, but several of the chairs already had tears in them. They did also have several plastic Adirondack chairs, which were in great shape and good for the sand. No umbrella, but we rented one from a place down by Walgreen’s.
Its an older condo. Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture was comfy and in good shape. Lots of towels and linens. Water pressure was OUTSTANDING. Wifi was strong.
Overall, everything was clean and in good shape. Second bedroom had older furnishing, but the beds slept great. Master bedroom had newer furniture. High traffic areas were clean, but needs a deep clean.
Very quiet complex. Lanai was great in the mornings for coffee and evenings for cocktails.

Just what we wanted
Working with Mike and Karen was a great experience for a newbie. I noticed the view as soon as I walked in. You can see the the Gulf and all its glory as the waves roll in and you hear that roar. The condo is well equipped with silverware, cups, games, books and beach towels. We had access to beach chairs, sand pails for children and any other items needed for the beach. The beach itself is white sand and access is easy and immediate. There is a pool in front that is very nice to slip into after a day at the beach. My sister and I throughly enjoyed our stay and are already talking about next year.

Absolutely wonderful weekend!
This was our first VRBO rental and have to admit -- I was a little nervous about what to expect. But, this little beach oasis was wonderful. The condo was clean, well-maintained and had beautiful new furnishings. The property managers were extremely helpful throughout the process, including when we had a slight wi-fi issue on check-in that was quickly resolved and allowed our son to do his remote school lessons the next day.
We wanted to this little beach getaway to give us some time to relax and maintain social-distancing and we found that was incredibly easy to do here. The first-floor unit was easily accessible (there are a few steps to get up to the door), the beach was expansive and we were able to order both groceries and meals to limit our need to leave the property.
We needed a relaxing weekend badly and this property delivered. My son cried as we left and asked when we can go back. My answer? Soon!
