The breakfasts were excellent & the location of St.Aubin is so easy for access to bus services. A lovely area at end of road before the little uphill lane where there is a slipway that’s great for sea swimming at high tide. Loads of eating & drinking facilities & a few shops too. Very clean bedroom but noisy.
The Guest House is very reasonable priced but bedrooms are tired & stairs very steep & narrow, & like a rabbit warren to reach room. Tiny en-suite & the shower floor fills up very quickly, the sink is in the bedroom. Noise very droning & annoying fan noise from kitchen which goes on & on till late at night. Bedroom walls & ceiling not at all soundproof. You can hear everything, even when someone in next bedroom goes for a pee etc., some residents leave around 5.30 & 6.30am & are not quiet, just pointless trying to sleep then. Bought ear plugs but they don’t drown out all the noise.

Great location on the St. Aubin Harbour Front. A couple of car parks nearby if using a car. Lots of other pubs and restaurants nearby, also a local Morrisons across the road. Bus stop is nearby. It’s also possible to jump onto a local Tourist Train across the Harbour which drives along the sea front to St. Helier. Good fun and very informative. £10 return or £7 single one way.
Room was compact, clean, modern and functional, with lovely Sea view across the Harbour, some nice bird life to look at if interested including the local Greylag Goose!!
Small shower room with toilet. Washing basin is in the main room, not a problem for me, I’ve experienced this in other older Hotels/Guesthouses in Jersey.
All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, no issues at all.
The Full English breakfast was wonderful, I enjoyed every one of them and looked forward to it in the morning!
We used the restaurant a couple of evenings and the food was very good !!
Overall, a very nice stay, I would return if staying in St. Aubin again. Great value for money as well

Something to bear in mind for older visitors, the stairs are quite steep and narrow, there is no lift to the upper floors

Double room was on the 1st floor at the rear of the property. Quite a large room with bathroom. Functional and clean.
A little noise from the street at the back and an extractor fan.
Room was quite warm which was perfect for an 87 year old !!!!

Key was very difficult to use in the door lock but sorted it with a little soap !!! perfect afterwards

Location was excellent, very easy for busses to the whole island.
The Bon Viveur guest house rooms are very dated, my room No7 had a broken shower door & no sink plug. Also a good layer of dust on anything above head hight. The Bed & pillows all need replacing ASAP! So uncomfortable! Also very noisy from staff accommodation above & kitchen below. Beware.
