Top-Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft war zentral. Direkt nebendran war ein Supermarkt. Das Personal waren alle sehr freundlich. Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. In der Küche hatten wir alles, was für wir benötigten. Es gab Kaffee for free täglich.

Nebenan scheint ein Junkie-Platz zu sein.

Recomendable y tranquilo

Zonas comunes amplia, limpias y recogidas. Ubicación Ambiente tranquilo e internacional Zona para dejar el coche. Nevera grande y cajas para organizar comida. Alcachofa de la ducha era móvil y agua caliente

Literas quizá un poco alta. Ventiladores de litera no funcionaban y los de pie no llegaban arriba. Armarios no tenían candado, había que llevárselo o comprar. No estaban muy limpios.

The staff was friendly and helpful and it was a beautiful and clean place to stay located walking distance to everything

Loved how clean and open the space was with beautiful vegetation everywhere. I liked all the outside sitting/lounge options.

Ojalá tengas sueño profundo

No mucho, era buena ubicación

Nos despertaron a las 4 de la mañana todos los días las gallinas. Partian cantando y no se callaban hasta las 7am, realmente desagradable. No tiene ventanas, solo de rejilla por las que pasaban igual los insectos.

Best place to be in the center of Puerto Viejo

Perfect location în The center of the village. Bed was confortable, bathroom clean, staff kind. I arrived tired and they gave me the room earlier. Very easy to meet new people. No complains for this hostel, everything nice.

Clean and realxing paradise

Close to walk everywhere in town, very clean, huge kitchen with a lot of equitment, quiet hostel (no Party hostel), great garden to chill with hammats

Geweldig!!!!

Super schone keuken/wc/douches. verder alles netjes opgeruimd, grote kamers met grote lockers voor grote en kleine backpack. Praktische douches met n plankje en haakje voor je spullen. Geen harde muziek overdag quiz night of beer pong s avonds maar zeer rustig ideaal om iets te lezen of gewoon gezellig met anderen gasten praten. Er zijn spelletjes beschikbaar.

Peaceful stay in fantastic Puerto Viejo

The facilities are really good, the atmosphere is relaxed and the location is close to everything but repaired from the noisy buzz

Nothing exceptional to point out. It would be great to have a laundry service and more space where to hang wet swimsuits and towels

El hostel está muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo. En la esquina hay un supermercado grande. La habitación prolija y limpia, con 2 ventiladores. El personal es muy amable. Recomendable!

We loved it!

The property is wonderfully maintained, the bathrooms were very clean and there is always coffee in the kitchen for free (as well as basic kitchen stuff).

Amazing dorms

Friendly staff. Spacious dorms with comfortable beds. We each are allocated a dresser to put our bags / clothes. It is well located in Puerto Viejo town. There are many fans in the room. Multiple showers/toilets/sinks.

You cannot wash your clothes there (even yourself by hand).

Wonderful stay, would return if passing through again.

Nice layout with multiple areas for shaded seating. Tasteful decor, very clean. Great kitchen setup. Great to have filtered water cooler to refill water bottle. Staff were incredibly pleasant. Wonderfully quiet location 2 blocks from the bus stop and town center in puerto viejo.

Shared bathroom. Would be nice to have a separate sink/mirror outside the bathroom if someone is showering.

Top Hostel!

Das Personal war super lieb und hilfsbereit, es wurden mehrfach täglich die Bäder sauber gemacht. Die Küche ist super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der schöne Innenhof läd mit den Pflanzen, Lichterketten und den Sitzmöglichkeiten zum entspannen ein.

Es gibt nur 3 Toiletten und zu den Stoßzeiten musste man ein paar Minuten warten, was aber in der Regel kein Problem war und es sich nicht gestaut hat.

Really nice hostel with a great common area and garden, the owners and staff are super friendly

There’s no AC which made sleeping difficult. There’s a ceiling fan which helped and small personal fans for each bed but AC would be much preferred

A genuinely nice hostel.

Very good location, Puerto Viejo is a small town and Pagalù hostel was 2 minutes walk away from the bustle of the beach, restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket nearby which is great for buying food and drink for cooking. There were hot showers which are always nice no matter the climate. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean, there is a nice social space. Jared on the reception was very helpful and assisted with preparations for visiting the nearby Cahuita National Park.

There wasn’t anything I could fault with this place. Would highly recommend for anybody visiting Puerto Viejo.

Excellent Hostel in the Heart of Puerto Viejo

Phenomenal hostel. It has great wifi, it's clean, fully stocked kitchen, complimentary morning coffee, etc. We stayed in a private room w/ private bathroom. There are also privates w/ shared bathrooms, and shared rooms. Very friendly staff. Excellent location in Puerto Viejo, near everything.

Nothing to say here at all. You absolutely get your money's worth here. Would recommend to all sorts of travelers.

An almost perfect place to stay in Puerto Viejo!

Nice, clean rooms and facilities. Location close to everything you need in Puerto Viejo.

Probably only that there isn’t a breakfast included but I knew that before booking so not a huge issue. However I think it is a great thing for a hostel to provide.

Really great hospitality, perfect location, kitchen is 5*, free coffee in the morning and filtered water are definitely a plus!

Rooms should have blackout curtains, and there are no window doors, therefore any noise from outside wakes you in the early morning

i really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. the staff is super friendly and helpful. also it's really clean, especially the kitchen. the rooms are big, the beds are comfy. and it's quite at night. would defentily come back! one of the best hostels i have been to.

Beautiful relaxed place to stay in heart of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca

Beautiful hostel with a lovely relaxed vibe.Close to everything you need - the village, beach, buses and bike rentals. Free coffee and cold filtered water available all day. Super clean, comfortable and very helpful and friendly staff. Big lockers in the rooms and fans to keep cool. Would return! :)

The only thing that would improve is the beds having curtains for a bit more privacy in dorms.

Beautiful oasis in Puerto Viejo downtown

- Very clean and spacious room - Amazing chill areas with a yoga deck and hammocks - Great location in downtown, close to the beach and many restaurants/bars

- I was solo travelling and the place was not very social during my stay, but it is definitely the perfect place if you are travelling in a group/with your partner
