Clean, comfortable, open, natural
The staff were discriminatory and nasty. The manager was bias and did not allow me to stay as a paying customer because of the time i sleep on the beach behind the hostal when i didn’t have the money and still came inside to charge my phone the next day. I was not met with kindness or decency.

Decent price. Great location. Hot water.
My private room (Honeymoon Suite) was a glorified tree house. Entering through a trapdoor up steep steps not great for guest with a bad back and luggage. The lock on the inside of the room was just a wooden latch. I know CR is very safe but as a solo woman traveler I didn't like that. A bat flew into and around my room. There was no mirror or place to hang a towel.
