We absolutely loved our stay here and honestly cannot recommend it highly enough!
The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated, and the historic character of the building made the experience feel so much more authentic. Staying here really gave us a wonderful sense of experiencing Catania like a local. We were lucky enough to have a balcony with an incredible view of Mount Etna, which was such a special touch.
Our host was absolutely wonderful — warm, welcoming and genuinely kind. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, gave us clear instructions on everything we needed to know and recommended some fantastic places for us to visit during our stay.
One of the most thoughtful touches came when we had to leave very early for our flight and realised we would miss breakfast. Our host went above and beyond and prepared a packed breakfast for us to take on our journey, including sandwiches, juice and yoghurt. It was such a lovely gesture and really summed up how incredibly welcoming and considerate she was.
The bed was also one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and despite being in the heart of Catania, the room was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t hear the city outside at all, which made it incredibly easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep.
We genuinely wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about our stay was wonderful — the room, the location, the atmosphere and, most of all, the hospitality.
If you are visiting Catania, we honestly couldn’t recommend staying here more highly. It was the perfect place to stay, and we would absolutely return!

This is a lovely little boutique hotel of a very high standard - and a perfect location for city sightseeing (and 10 min walk from the Central Station). The host, Lucilla, is absolutely charming and clearly takes great pride in ensuring that her guests receive attention; communications were effective and convivial throughout. Lucilla is Calabrian and a font of knowledge and advice about the city. In addition to the many architectural and historic sights that Catania offers, make sure you visit the daily fish-market - and seek out Scirroco Sicilian Fish Lab for a great casual-dining experience.

This was one special gem in the heart of Catania. The owner, Lucilla, makes sure you feel right at home. When I had a very early flight, she made sure I had food to take. A gesture I will never forget.
