Pros: House was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Location was close to the beach, but not really as walkable as was described. Cons: Really strange layout/floor plan. Very odd and inconvenient to have to go through multiple doors, down a flight of exterior stairs and back in through multiple doors to do laundry. Also-the pool area is NOTHING like you see in the listing pictures. Totally inaccurate. The pool is TINY and there is absolutely NO PRIVACY. The pictures show significant foliage around the pool. In reality, there is none. You are swimming on a corner lot, with neighbors walking and driving by.

Very beautiful and quiet

Very spacious house for our group of 8. House was very well stocked and extremely clean and organized when we arrived. Walk to the beach was a little farther than we expected. 15 minute walk at a good pace. One couple stayed in the bottom bedroom, which was completely separated from the rest of the group. It has a separate entrance and no way to get to the room from inside the house. Their unit stayed a little warmer because the washer and dryer were in that room. Pool was great and we really enjoyed the deck. Nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

The location was good although the walk to the beach is not as easy as the listing makes it sound. The home could use a deep cleaning, not just the check-in housekeeping. All the bed pillows deseprately need replaced due to being old and unclean. The deck and pool area need power washed and the roof of the deck needs repaired so it doesn't leak. The ceiling of the area/apartment downstairs has a huge water bubble that looks like it could burst. We did notify the owner of both of these issues. The overall set-up of the home was disappointing. The two biggest set-up issues are the grill being in the pool area in comparison to the kitchen and the apartment is next to the pool but no entrance to the main home without having to go outside and come around the steps. This felt very disconnected. From finding an old oreo in the door track to hair all over the bathroom wall, we were thoroughly disappointned in our choice of vacation rentals. On top of everything, when we arrived around 6:30 pm, the cleaners had just shown up and said it would be another 45 minutes. We drove around to kill time and it was atleast an hour for them to finish. They also took all of the extra bedding with them and dropped it off the next day outside in garbage bags. Some of the items were still wet. Needless to say, would not rent this place again.

Was overall pleased worh our stay. Only issues were too much vegetation growing over and around driveways/parking that scratched against my trucks. Other than that, we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to stay with great location ( quiet, yet close to everything). The house was very nice and clean, It had everything that you could want or need. My only complaint was all the stairs.

The first time we were able to get everyone together and we had a fantastic time.

Great area by the house, a lot of traffic this time of year but it was very easy to just stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We loved the walks on the beach and shell collecting. We had one little hiccup and the management company were right on it and took care of it extremely fast. For sure we would stay here again.

We had a great time!! Loved all the space and the bedrooms were awesome!!!! There were a few issues which were discussed with the owner and will hopefully be fixed for the next guest. We suggested labeling the wall switches. The roof leaked onto the middle outside deck. The kitchen faucet was not connected. We would definitely rent again.. Thank you so much💕

We had 4 generations of family together for a beach vacation and this location did not disappoint. Location was close to beaches, walkable to manasota beach, but easy drive to multiple beautiful beaches. Heated pool was exceptional. Little dirty on first day, but we talked with owners and they sent someone over to clean it the next day. The house itself has lots of space for everybody and the beds are nice and comfy. The interior had a few areas that were a bit dirty, mostly up stairs master. Furniture and floor was covered in white powdery dust. May have been from house shaking or moving during earthquake, so we just wiped down quickly and went on to have fun. House came with a lot of necessities for beach and pool, which was cool. Multiple shark teeth hunting tools! We also appreciated the pack n play, high chair, baby gates and baby pool floated provided. Overall we would recommend this location. Warning to those with arthritis, SO MANY stairs.

Great location, clean house. Very timely responses from property manager / owner. Beach chairs were rusted out and 2 of them were broken. Cooler handle was broken and could not pull the cooler anywhere. Had a great trip and the house was very well kept.

This house was fantastic! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to maintain privacy while still enjoying much family time. The main house Itself was very clean and well kept. The “pool house” however could use something to keep the bugs out. Everyday these worm like bugs would come in through a crack under the door. I think maybe a new door or seal would help. The washer and dryer are in the pool house. Unfortunately the washing machine had a ton of gunk and mold in the front loading opening. So it made everything we washed smell moldy. We were able to clean it out with a lot of bleach wipes and elbow grease; but that is something that needs to be looked after on a regular basis. We loved the location! It was a very easy walk to the beach. The house itself felt very private with all of the beautiful foliage surrounding it. You will see plenty of those little lizards around the property; which was the highlight of the house for my 8 year old. The pool deck and the deck off of the living room/ master bedroom could use a thorough washing. The high chair and pack and play were in great condition, so if traveling with a baby no need to pack those items. Overall it was a wonderful stay! We would definitely stay again if the few maintenance issues are addressed.

We have been using VRBO for over a decade and have always been happy with every rental. This year was a family vacation with the grandkids. They loved the pool and quick walk to the beach. Thank you for another great experience!

This property exceeded our expectations- you are an easy 15 min walk from Manasota Beach, in a really private area. Beautiful pool, close to stores, 20 min drive to Venice and 10 mins from Old Englewood. Ideal. There are steps, but it's a stilted house so that's expected.

We truly enjoyed our two weeks at this great location! It was extremely well appointed and very clean. Everything that we needed was provide...even plenty of paper products! We really liked how close it was to the beach! The fabulous private pool was so warm and we used it almost every afternoon. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone.

The property was in above average condition with plenty of space. It was well stocked and clean. There are a few minor maintenance items but nothing that impacts the enjoyment of your stay. The light switches are a bit confusing probably due to the renovations. Identification on the switch coverings indicated what the switch is for would be helpful. Check in could be improved. Make sure the pool cover has been placed on the pool if you want warm water. The location is private and beautiful. We would stay again

We did a girls week at this property met our every need. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 4 ladies who were very happy with accommodations. Pool was nice, loved screen in porch areas to sit in. We did blow a fuse too many blow dryers going but texted owner and they were there in 10 minutes to reset in fuse box. Also grill needed an update on burners let owners know and had a new grill next morning. Would highly recommend property was quiet nice neighborhood. The only thing we found a negative was the steps but totally understand due to location.

Inside of home had well stocked kitchen. Lots of towels and beach towels. Close to the beach. Pool was enjoyed by all. Stair in front of house need pressure washing and carport area. Back pool area under deck needs pressure washing. Overall great stay. Would rent again thanks!

My family and I had a great time at this property. The house layout is exactly as described though the pool was even bigger and nicer than it appears in the photos. The area is very quiet and secluded, it almost feels like you have no neighbors when you are at the pool. Do be careful on the stairs as they can get a bit slippery from rain or pool water - we had a couple spills. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities - towels, beach towels, kitchen necessities, etc. This is our own fault, but we didn’t discover the outdoor storage door was unlocked until the last day and there are beach chairs, umbrella, and other stuff in there. The walk to the beach is easy and less than ten minutes. This is a great find, especially for the price!

We had an amazing time and enjoyed the spacious yet cozy house that was more than we expected it to be and will definitely be coming back next year Lord willing.

We enjoyed our vacation very much. The house was well supplied. It would have been nice to have trash containers in each of the bedrooms/bathroom areas. The pool was very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for the experience.

This home is in a relaxed location near the Manasota Beach-it was very nice to be able to walk there (the beach was very clean with restrooms available). The house had ample vacation supplies including beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The kids loved the pool, however it is on the smaller side. There are several stairs between levels of this home to be noted. Overall an enjoyable place to stay approximately 10 minute walk to the beach but also about 10 minutes to stores/restaurants.

House was clean, accommodating, pool was warmish and cute. Had everything we needed. Not fantastic for couples as the 3rd floor bedroom has an unattached 1/2 bath. First floor queen room has small attached bath but only opens to the pool and carport, but not the rest of the house. 2nd floor has kitchen, living room, master suite with king bed and the twin bedroom has a unattached full bath off the kitchen. Plenty of parking and less than 1/2 walk to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to a nice not very crowded beach. We liked the opportunity to lounge by the pool or to walk the beach and search for shark teeth. Our friends kids loved the pool and spent as much time as possible in the pool. The few questions we had were answered quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

We rented this house for four adults as it was down the road from our kids and their children. The house came with everything needed for a great time in Englewood. Location is perfect as you can walk to the beach and only 8 minutes to walmart or publics. The house is on a quiet street well off the main road but very safe feeling. We kept saying this was a hidden gem for a location in Southern Florida that wouldn't break the bank. The only thing I will say about this house is stairs. There are a lot of stairs as the main living area like kitchen, dining and living room is technically on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor bedroom does not have a shower which is weird but we knew this before booking. All requests were taken care of quickly and we had very like to call about. This house is newer so that helps with being more updated. The washer and dryer is on the ground floor so again down the stairs and outside in order to do laundry. We rented this house for 3 weeks and it was a great home away from home. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We had 6 adults, plenty of room for all of us. The pool area was a definite plus. Great location, close to the beach.

Very nice area and the house was great. Plenty of room with 6 of its staying here. Only complaint is there’s no shower in the third floor for the bedroom up there. Has a great time would definitely stay here again in the future.
