This spacious garden flat with its own quiet courtyard is conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre and the race course. Cheltenham has jazz, music, science and literature festivals and is an ideal centre for exploring the Cotswolds. The flat is close to Pittville Park and lakes with extensive leisure facilities. The flat is the original servants quarters of a grade 2 listed Regency villa and retains original features such as shutters to most rooms. There are two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and the other with the option of a super king or two singles. The bedrooms are carpeted with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The lounge is spacious with a feature fireplace, sofas, easy chairs and dining area. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom with over bath shower, and a utility room with washing machine. We provide all linen and other basics. Outside the flat has its own street entrance to the front and a courtyard garden to the rear with table and chairs. Free on-street parking is available in front of the property and at the rear.

The flat was absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean and had every possible thing we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area was comfy and warm and the beds were lovely and comfortable with warm duvets and fluffy pillows. It was perfect for a long weekend for 3 sisters and close enough to the town centre to wander by foot to see everything we wanted to see. We didn't meet our hosts but communication was good before and during our stay. We would love to return soon.

The flat is in a great location within easy walking distance to bus transportation and shopping. The apt is very clean with comfortable beds and attractive, cozy linens with plenty of pillows. This spacious apartment was perfect for my visit with my two young children. Only a 10 minute walk to town and the wonderful Pittville Park. We enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays and John kindly put up xmas decorations for us too. The apartment has so many wonderful books to read, I wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Checking in was easy and the information provided was extremely useful. Thank you.

The flat was in a great location - only a short walk from town and Pittville Park. Everything was as described - an easy place to set up a base for our Cotswolds holiday. The only minor downside was parking - most days it was easy enough to find a park close-by, but on a couple of occasions it was more difficult. Would highly recommend.

The flat was lovely; very clean,cosy & comfortable & well provisioned with everything we needed.The location is perfect -quiet but only 10 mins walk to the town centre so we didn't need to use the car. The only little point that could have been improved. We arrived in pitch darkness. It was difficult to see the keypad & then get down the potentially dangerous steps to the flat door when we didn't know the layout, whilst carrying a baby & dodging the fox who obviously considered the front garden as his own! Once inside the flat we found the little hall light & left it on for subsequent times we came back after dark but that first arrival was a bit scary!!

The flat was very well furnished and comfortable - it contained everything you could need. It was about 15 minutes walk into the city centre. Because of this it meant you could always park outside the property which was a big bonus. Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby. We loved the Turtle Bay restaurant. Had a brilliant time - plenty of places to visit nearby. Would certainly recommend it.

We were very comfortable in the house. More then enough room for 4 people to spread out. The recycling was a bit confusing. The added feature of this property is the large collection of Far Side books!

We stayed in many rentals during an extended trip in the UK and this one was a good notch above the others. It's well located, wonderfully furnished and very well equipped with many thoughtful touches, such as the shutters/dark curtains that allowed my teenager to sleep in. We stayed a week and never had difficulties finding parking in front. It was quiet as well. There's a lovely park with a spectacular playground just 5 minutes away on foot. It's also an easy walk into the heart of Cheltenham and there's a small grocery store nearby. Our host left us a lot of useful information about the area and things to do, and generously came to our rescue when we'd left something behind! It was a great base for our travels in the region. Highest recommendations and we hope to come back soon! Kathy

Very well equipped and laid out property, in a great location. However, there is a problem with noise transmitting from upstairs, to the extent that sleep and peace and quiet was disturbed. We appreciate that people need to go about their daily lives, but it is problematic when every footfall, cupboard and drawer opening can be heard. It did impact on the quality of our sleep. It was unfortunate that scaffolders and painters came to work on the property during our holiday, which also disturbed us in terms of noise and privacy.

A great property, very comfortable, well-appointed and spacious and John and Penny were excellent hosts. The apartment is in an ideal location in a lovely part of Cheltenham within easy walking distance of the town centre and Pittville Park. Car parking was not a problem, we were able to park right outside the property for most of our stay. Would thoroughly recommend the property, and we hope to return for a second visit.

We had a wonderful time. Flat was warm, clean and parking was easy outside. John was really helpful and offered extra, clean towels halfway through the week. The kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable, huge beds. Short walking distance from the middle of town. Thank you very much!
