it was fine

Rooms nice size and very comfortable

First room had faulty air con so was cold, Had to wait around for this to be investigated and then had to move rooms so an hour or so lost in limbo whilst this was sorted

Expected excellent got just above acceptable

Reception staff, no lift to 4th floor, shower gel not refilled, noisy bedroom

Liked it that when we sat outside someone came out to ask if we wanted drinks and we really enjoyed coffee outside.

Directions to room , would have liked so.eone to shoe me and sign posting could have been clearer on the way back from room to reception.

We weren’t told our ‘classic’ room was windowless, strange we were put there given the large hotel was mostly empty.

Room had just been refitted by the looks of it and the bathroom plumbing was really noisy and leaking There was no mirror in the bathroom

Have visited hotel du vin for past 20 years, we will not be looking to book another visit soon.

Refurbishment caused major disturbance during day, skip directly outside window, no hot water in 2nd morning due to refurbishment

Try the suite. It's very special!

What an incredible room! We stayed in the Suite, which boasted an enormous four poster bed, two roll-top baths in the room and dual walk-in-monsoon showers. Oh, and a rocking horse. A truly unforgettable room. Didn't want to leave!

Pleasant enough but hotel needs some TLC.

Room was a very good size. Breakfast was ok. Staff were very friendly and dealt with issues promptly

Hotel needs a little TLC as things are starting to look shabby.

The food was very good and staff obliging. Our room was comfortable.

Our room was very cold and the staff were unable to warm it up until just before we departed. The bill which I paid is incomprehensible with different prices for each day.

I didn’t like paying to park my car. If they added to the price of the room I’d have paid it happily paid it but to charge an extra £10 when I arrived annoyed me and everyone I spoke to

I was given a 3 course dinner package and confirmed from booking.com but when I checked in they informed us we had a 2 course dinner package. I tried to argue that this is an issue they should take up with booking.com but they would not honor it. Left a very taste in the mouth.
