Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, fantastic water pressure in the shower, lovely breakfast.

On arrival reception staff excellent. Later different staff not quite so good. One day all staff in meeting and nobody around to serve in the bar so just gave up and went out elsewhere. Only 2 staff in breakfast when there was a big coach party in. Food not replenished on buffet in a timely fashion.
Room ok not sure about bath in bedroom. Shabby and small bathroom. Very dark. Some fixtures eg toilet roll holder broken. Lightbulb out in bedroom. Does nobody check the rooms before guests arrive ? We have now stayed in 3 Hotel du Vin and no stay was without problems. Expensive for what it was and bar prices eyewateringly expensive. Staff super friendly and very helpful in their defence. Next time we have a weekend away will probably source alternative accommodation.
