This is one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever visited.
I love the Korakuen hotel in Atami. I like everything about it: the lobby, the restaurants, our room, the spas.

The location is excellent. The ocean view is beautiful. We got up early to view the sunrise on balcony. It was breathtaking. Room is clean and spacious. Both dinner and breakfast are super good, with lots of variety. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. I am very satisfied.
The price could've been a little cheaper. That's all I hopeful.

Excellent location and with a complimentary bus shuttle between hotel and Atami train terminal. The breakfast and dinner were very good. The Aqua House where we stayed was new and clean.
The spa ‘Funaua ’ was too crowded. There wasn’t enough space to sit or relax.

Shower was amazing and beds were comfortable (except for the pillows).
Our fault for not researching enough but the photos made it look like there was a pool however it was a public naked hot spring. We were there for a relaxing trip with the kids but they weren't comfortable going in naked so didn't go. We had been told via messaging the hotel that we could book the private hot springs but on check in found that didn't apply to us. It was then suggested we just use the bath in our room however there wasn't one. We were also lumped with an accommodation tax on check out which is usually built into the price. Had a lot of difficulty communicating to staff & it wasn't clear (therefore confusing) with the buffet dinner/breakfast at the restaurant verses a la carte. It's very expensive to do the buffet so i recommend just doing a la carte. Not really near many other restaurants.
