Beautiful, quiet condo with fantastic view, centrally located to beach, shops, restaurants and Del Mar racetrack. Condo has everything you need/want for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are very comfy, water pressure in both bathrooms is super strong, nice grill for bbqing & we sat at the table on the patio sipping wine and watching the sunset over the ocean almost every night. Richard is hands down the greatest, most accommodating host ever. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay, and even went out of his way to mail a shirt that was accidentally left back to us. We will absolutely be coming back to this condo in the future. Thanks again for everything!

We had an amazing time and location, an easy stroll to our daughter's place. And when we returned to our VRBO, we had a beautiful view of the ocean view to enjoy. Everything we needed was available at the VRBO. We hope to book again soon!

Great location to explore Solana and Del Mar beaches. Very walkable with convenient stores nearby. The place has everything we needed for our two week stay. It was clean and updated We enjoyed the sauna. Richard is a great host.

Location, location! Spectacular view and breathtaking sunsets. Host met us at site right after check-in to assist with condo “how-to’s” which helped us to use the unit with ease right from the start. Also provided recommendations for restaurants, etc. Notebook as resource as well. The master bedroom does indeed have a bed frame and comfortable bed with ocean view. Second bedroom has a queen bed (not a murphy bed). We loved the short 15 minute walk to “town” and beach. Solana Beach is just plain beautiful and connects with Del Mar beach. Location makes it close to so many other areas as well: Del Mar, La Jolla, San Diego, Coronado island…. I will definitely be back! Thanks, Rick!

No doubt, a wonderful ocean view, convenient and quiet. We stayed a full month; we slept well and were generally comfortable. It took some time to let go of several irritants, including a broken TV controller, (the owner ordered a new one), finding it wasn’t a ‘smart’ TV - unable to stream rental movies, a broken disposal, worn utensils, no master bed frame (box spring on the floor), owner’s stuff not consolidated…it goes on. We didn’t share this with the owner since he never reached out to us to see how we’re doing.

My husband and I loved staying at the condo. It is a great location for us as we have family nearby. It’s also very close to the beach and town. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Richard was great to deal with and very responsive. We look forward to staying here again!

We spent four weeks in Ricks apartment. We were welcomed by the host and introduced to all appliances. The apartment is very spacious with a spectacular view. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with easy access to the beach, many attractions and shops nearby. We definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to return soon.

Location was fantastic and view is impressive. Very quiet complex, except for a few rowdy preteens the last night. Condo was comfortable, unique decor in master bath...overall a great place to getaway from traffic and noise. Parking is super convenient and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Richard was a very attentive host.

Our best Vrbo (or any by-owner rental) ever! This immaculate rental was in a quiet neighborhood with great views of the Pacific off of the balcony. We enjoyed everything about this location. The neighbors were friendly. The pool was fantastic. Furnishings were top-notch. You never know what a property will be like until you visit, and I must say this is the first time we have stayed at a rental that far exceeded the description. We look forward to our next stay!

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our needs. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink and snack to enjoy the view. Easy access to everything by car and for older people like us even foot access was reasonable. Also Richard was attentive to our needs. We plan to stay again next year.

The home was clean and well maintained, the shower in the main bedroom was exceptional. Parking was directly in front of our main door and had a roof to protect the car. The area around the home was quiet and it made you feel safe. Richard kept us informed along the way and we could not have asked for anything more from the accommodations.
