The staff make this hotel. The hotel is extremely beautiful but the staff’s kindness and hospitality throughout the whole stay is what will keep us coming back.

One of my favorite things about the hotel was catching all the ways the details of comfort and convenience were thought out. Here are a few examples; beach bag stuffed with towels and flip flops, a perfect plunge pool on the deck to cool down and there was nothing missing at the breakfast time.
My favorite time after a very long and hot week of traveling through Croatia, was the beach day right outside the hotel. Lounge chairs, towels, warm sun and the sea waited right outside for us. It was magical to watch the sun set over the island.

The room and the private mini pool on the terrace were absolutely wonderful — we truly enjoyed that part of our stay.
- The breakfast was excellent — probably one of the best I’ve had in my hotel experience.
- At the restaurant, the service itself was good and attentive.
What we didn’t like:
- I was disappointed with the quality of the front desk service. I sent a question through Booking, called the reception, and asked for a response. The staff member saw the question, confirmed my name, and promised to reply — but I never received an answer.
- The question was important: I wanted to pay for the stay myself and asked whether the hotel could charge the card linked to the Booking website. In the end, I got no reply, and my partner ended up paying — which ruined my plan and the surprise I had prepared.
- Upon arrival, the front desk told us they couldn’t charge the Booking card, even though the reservation was made through the site. I’m certain that’s not true — if we had canceled, the hotel would’ve charged that card a cancellation fee.
- At the restaurant, the food quality was disappointing, especially for the price. We ordered burrata with tomatoes, but the tomatoes were cheap, tasteless supermarket ones — unacceptable in a dish with only two ingredients.
- We ordered the starters for sharing but weren’t given plates to do so — a detail that felt unprofessional for a place positioning itself as a top-tier hotel and restaurant.
- The spa area was full of naked guests, and I didn’t see any signs indicating that nudity was expected. For people who don’t feel comfortable seeing strangers fully exposed, it makes it hard to relax or enjoy the spa.
- The pool area was overcrowded — there were no free sunbeds, and the number of loungers clearly doesn’t match the number of guests.
Would I return to this hotel? No.
At this price point, I expected a significantly higher level of service and comfort.
