Large cottage 1-bedroom 1-bath, located in the prestigious Alameda Gold Coast neighborhood, close to the Oakland Airport, minutes walk to the beach, easy transportation to San Francisco by ferry, bart, or bus, near Oakland Coliseum and Oracle Arena, conveniently located with coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores. Next to Crown beach with spectacular view of San Francisco. More information The space The cottage is the back unit of a Gorgeous Victoria house. It is updated and decorated with French Country theme, with a private yard and outdoor dining and seating area. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and welcoming. Cottage is equipped with high speed internet (free wifi), flat screen TV, and wash/dryer. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage and the garden. Interaction with guests I am a very easy going person. Every guest will be respected and be cared for during their stay. Absolutely no problem if you break a dish, a glass, or accidentally scratch a table or spill something on the carpet. Things are meant to be used and guests should live freely during their visit. Party is not allowed and quiet time is 9:30pm.

What a cute little cottage. All the amenities were at the cottage. We enjoyed our morning walks. The location felt extremely safe. We will definitely be back.

If you are visiting the bay area but want to stay in a beautiful cottage away from the hustle and bustle, this cute cottage in Alameda is the perfect place. Good price, dog friendly, comfortable, and they don't require a 2-3 night stay. Close to the beach and Webster St. I'll be staying there again in a few weeks.

Great place for a quick weekend visit in the Bay Area. Accurate description and very clean. The walkway and path through the backyard and toward the cottage isn’t well lit - there’s a spotlight at the beginning but after that it can be hard to see. It isn’t a problem, just plan accordingly if you plan to arrive late on your first night (like I did) and have your hands full. Once I was familiar with the place, the lighting wasn’t a big deal at all. I would definitely stay here again!

My impression of Alameda island is that it is a very safe little community. We were very comfortable walking to the many shops and restaurants on Webster Street, although common sense made us head for home before it got dark. I would also recommend taking the Alameda/Oakland Ferry to the San Francisco Ferry Station then catch a trolly to Fisherman’s Wharf. A Very enjoyable stay!

Cottage was super! Spacious and comfortable with all the amenities one could ask for. Private patio was a great bonus. The neighborhood was very quiet. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops just a short walk away. Also a short walk to the beach. Wonderful place to stay!

Very spacious cottage with comfortable beds and good outdoor area. Only recommendation would be a black out curtain in the bedroom and a heat lamp in the bathroom. I will definitely stay here again!

I had two of my college girlfriends come into town and we stayed in this cottage. I loved showing the girls around Alameda! It’s a great location and walkable to many restaurants and shops.

Having lived in Alameda for 19 years it was wonderful to come back and stay at the adorable cottage. It is in a great location and you easily walk everywhere. It a perfect size for my husband, me and our 15lb dog. The private garden was wonderful too! Only complaints are the lighting in the bathroom over the sink could be brighter and the sofa could be more comfy. Other than that the place was great!! Big kitchen w lots of useful tools. We will definitely be back!

Good location for going to San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area. Alameda is a quaint small town. Nothing much has changed in the fifty years since I went to high school here. Great place to just walk the quaint neighborhoods.

The property is located in a charming area, close to some grand houses, Crown Beach and an adjoining park. Great for walking your dog. Cottage was nicely furnished with everything one would need. One serious negative was the hot water. It either took several minutes to come, or we got tired of waiting /wasting water and took a shower at our next accommodation. This knocked a star off of our rating.

Property was great. Easy check in, very clean, plenty of places to relax and enjoy the yard. Neighborhood is great. Easy parking. Short walk to restaurants. We loved it and so did our dog, will definitely be back!

We booked this house as an alternative to staying in a hotel while celebrating my daughter's Berkeley graduation ceremonies. This was a great place to stay. The host was very responsive! The house accommodated 4 people very comfortably. The only drawback was having to travel back to Alameda from Berkeley. But if you are coming to explore the SF area, this is a perfect place to stay. It's walking distance to the shops and eateries on Webster St. and quick to the city either via car or the ferrry. Highly recommend!

Great location, easy parking and neighborhood seems very safe. The cottage is very well appointed, clean and quiet. Very roomy for the two of us and our pup. Outdoor space a real bonus. Webster Street with shops and dining is walking distance. Excellent stay and have already booked again!

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect amount of space for the 2 of us, and had a lovely private backyard that we enjoyed with our dog. The only thing I would mention if I had to come with something, is that we weren’t expecting the larger house in front of the property to be a rental as well. Sometimes small quiet groups and sometimes not so quiet. But overall it was a wonderful stay.

This is a quiet retreat, more spacious than we expected. The single bed with trundle is part of the living room furnishings. The dining table is in the large kitchen. We did laundry. We found everything we needed in the kitchen

We loved this quaint apartment. The location was so close to everything we needed. We took the Alameda ferry to San Francisco and we were only five miles from the airport There was plenty of room for our family of four. The bed was so comfy as well! Perfect little cottage and we'll definitely be back!!!

Our adult kids live in the Bay Area, but don't have space to put us up in their homes. This house was ideal for us. We stayed 5 nights. Our kids came over with board games. They even made soup and baked bread for us in the well-equipped kitchen. The house was spotless.. Quiet neighborhood. 5 minute walk to beach. 10 minute walk to restaurants.

We loved having our own house, tucked away from the road, in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a mere 7 minute walk to the Bay, and walking distance to shopping as well. The house had plenty of space for the two of us, a good sized kitchen, and we enjoyed the private patio. It was easy to find parking on the street. We'd be happy to stay there again.
