Welcome to a spacious and peaceful one-bedroom cottage tucked behind a beautiful 1908 Victorian in Alameda’s historic Gold Coast neighborhood. With 860 square feet of living space, the Cottage comfortably accommodates up to five guests and offers a charming blend of French country style and modern convenience.
Inside, you’ll find a full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, fast Wi-Fi, Smart TV, heating, portable air conditioning, and a private entrance. Outside, enjoy your own fully fenced backyard with outdoor dining and seating—a relaxing place for morning coffee, an afternoon in the garden, or time with your pets.
Crown Memorial State Beach, neighborhood cafés, restaurants, and grocery stores are nearby. San Francisco, Berkeley, downtown Oakland, and Oakland Airport are also conveniently accessible.
The Cottage and Victorian are separate, private rentals. The courtyard between the two homes is the only shared outdoor space. Parties and events are not permitted.

It was a nicely maintained property that was clean and accommodated our group of three. We walked around Alameda for three days and this property was a perfect place to come "home" to. Having Lady Bird coffee around the corner was so convenient. Uber and lift were easily accessed to and from the ferries to San Fransisco.

Home is much more spacious than it appears in photos. Clean, uncluttered but nicely decorated. Easy to find street parking in front of house, even after 9pm. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage was very spacious, very comfortable to sleep and relax in, a coffee pot and tea kettle made it feel just like home. Great location for daily walks and walking to local coffee shops and restaurants.
