Nestled in Forster, this lovely cottage for $116 per night is a great option for your next break. WE DO OFFER DISCOUNTED RATES FOR 3 NIGHTS OR MORE PLEASE NOTE IF YOUR PREFERRED DATES ARE UNAVAILABLE WE HAVE OTHER PROPERTIES THAT MAY SUIT. Lakeview Cottage sleeps four people and boasts some of the most spectacular sunsets on the eastern seaboard of Australia. Overlooking Wallis Lake, flanked by the World Heritage Barrington Tops, this property is surrounded by national parks in the village of Green Point. Location: An easy three and a half hours drive north from Sydney between Pacific Palms and Forster. Local Attractions Fishing, surfing, snorkling, windsurfing, walking or just relaxing on the huge sun deck overlooking Wallis Lake and enjoying one of the best iced coffees around from the Country Palings Cafe and gift shop close by. CONDITIONS OF BOOKING: 1) In the event of any cancellation made by the Principal a full refund of all monies paid will be given. 2) The premises are left to you only for the period stated on the letter of confirmation as short term holiday rental. 3) A bond of $1000.00 is payable for Bluebell and the Folly and $500.00 for Lakes Edge, Lakeview Cottage and Lakeview Lodge. This will be returned as soon as possible after departure subject to compliance with our Conditions of Tenancy. CONDITIONS OF TENANCY: 1) To ensure the comfort and respect of all our guests please smoke outside the living areas of the property (Bluebell does not permit smoking inside or outside, decks etc, of the property) 2) Strictly no parties 3) Pets must remain outside of the property (Strictly no pets allowed in Bluebell or The Folly), they are strictly not permitted inside the house or a cleaning fee of $150.00 will be incurred. Some dogs feel uncomfortable in unfamiliar surroundings, particularly when left alone, please consider our neighbours and ensure barking is kept to a minimum. 4) We are committed to providing you with the most enjoyable stay with us however, to ensure the quiet and good order of the neighbourhood please ensure noise is kept to a minimum after 9.30pm 5) The premises are let strictly for the enjoyment and use of the number of people stated on this letter i.e. the number of people occupying or using the premises shall not exceed the party size agreed at the time of booking unless prior permission is sought. Exceeding this number will render the booking liable to cancellation, plus a fine on the bond. 6) The premises are let to you only for the period stated on the letter of confirmation 7) The premises are available after 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 9.30 am (we WILL extend this where possible but please check first) 8) The premises are to be left in a clean and tidy condition garbage placed in the bin before departing (red for general garbage and yellow is for recycling); additional fees may apply if the premises are not left in a reasonable condition. 9) All damages, breakages or losses to the property and/or furniture are to be reported and paid for immediately 10) Fish are not to be cleaned or oysters opened on the property 11) Please report any problems or incidents promptly. 12) Vendors or their agents shall be allowed right of entry to the premises at any reasonable time to inspect the premises or make repairs. 13) Parking – please ensure cars/boats are parked on the concrete driveway and not on the grass which can become waterlogged after rain. 14) Furniture is not to be moved around and only outside furniture used outside 15) Failure to comply with these terms and conditions, in the absolute discretion of the managing agent, may result in the termination or permission to occupy these premises 16) Any bonds will be refunded within 48 hours of departure upon compliance inspection into the nominated account or refunded to credit card. Should any damage be detected then the cost of repairs will be taken from the bond. 17) The Principal accepts no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of the hirer’s party or their property, however caused, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises. 18) Should you have any complaints regarding your stay, please call us immediately. We will respond as soon as possible to resolve any issues. In the event of any problems please call .

I had a wonderful time! The house has a huge deck with views of Wallis Lake. I sat out there every day enjoying the sounds of birds etc. iIf raining there is an undercover section. Close enough to enjoy short drives to all the places around like Seal rocks, SmithsLake, Nabiac etc.There is a massive back yard that my dog enjoyed. Great , timely communication with Ken , who runs a cafe next door with his wife where I enjoyed a tasty cake and hot chocolate.
It is so peaceful there. A wonderful place to stay.

The property is on the crest of a hill overlooking Wallis Lake and has a great view of the lake and sunsets. It’s very comfortable, with thoughtful inclusions such as electric blankets, well equipped laundry & kitchen and is spotlessly clean. I love the peaceful surroundings and it’s only minutes away from Forster with all its shops etc. I have recommended the cottage to family & friends already & intend to return myself.

The property was clean and comfortable and all needs appeared to be catered for. The write ups around top spots to explore were excellent and gave us a in depth review of the area and its sights , walks, restaurants and other things to do. Excellent

The house was fully equipped and had a brand new bbq and a big deck that was amazing for a good dinner. The nly problem was the amount of mosquitos in the deck and the house because the house was located right by the lake. We had to burn a lot of insents to get rid of the mosquitos. So it will be nice if the owners has those available and something in the rooms. Location was perfect if you wanted to completely relax and be away from people. Beaches we're nearby as well so it was a good spot to explore the nature.

Although we weren't there long we had a great stay in this pet friendly cottage near Foster. The cottage was clean, close to town and hade great views of Wallis lake from the front verandah. The area was very quiet and relaxing and the amenities of the house were perfect for our stay.

Perfect stay
On ou trip from Sydney to Brisbane, we stayed for two nights in the Lakeview Lodge. The property is as described, very welcoming and friendly hosts, rooms were very well maintained and absolutely clean. Wonderful location, very quiet, with a perfect lookout over the lake from the deck. I would not hesitate to come back again, possibly spending there a few more days.

This year, my partner and I visited the Great Lakes area for the third time and the Lakeview Lodge (neighbouring accommodation to the cottage) for the first time.The Lakeview Lodge was the best accommodation we have experienced and was also the lowest price!Ken and Cathy made us welcome at this beautiful house. The wraparound balcony was perfect for our dog and would also suit families with children. The house sits high on the hill capturing spectacular views. The lakes shores are a few minutes walk away. The furnishing is tasteful and everything you need is provided.Green point is small, friendly village surrounded by National Park and full of wildlife. There are lots of areas to explore either on foot or in the canoe. The area is close to beaches and to Foster for dinner, gift shopping etc.Ken and Cathy run the small cafe next door, which has fabulous coffee and cake. When staying at the lodge you enjoy the benefits of self contained, good value accommodation, as well as, the personal attention and thoughtfulness of your hosts.David
