About this condo rental
Situated in North Eleuthera, this lovely condo for $245 per night is a great choice for your next trip. One bedroom studio apartment perfect for a couple or family with young kids. King size firm pillow top bed and full size futon, suitable for children. Fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom. Covered porch facing the beach which is just a few steps away plus a deck with lounge chairs. Unbeatable beachfront location and views. Kayaks and paddle boards included. Spanish Wells is an historic lobster fishing community with a beautiful beach, several good restaurants where fresh seasonal catch is on the menu. The apartment is centrally located and food and liquor stores as well as restaurants are walkable, but we highly recommend renting a gold cart (buggy) to explore the island and adjoining Russell Island. There are no hotels or large resorts which helps the island keeps its distinct charm. If you are looking for a laid back beach vacation on a beautiful beach, Spanish Wells is it!

Location is everything at Beach Retreat! It is located just a few steps to the beautiful North beach. This is a perfect studio apt. for 1 couple. It has everything you need and nothing that you don’t! Vince and Lori are awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely book again next year!

This place was amazing! You get up enjoy the sunrise, swim, rest, snorkel, nap, and repeat. Everything you need is right there. Vince was so helpful and nice. What ever we needed he was happy to help us. This located on the beach, beautiful sandbar. It’s pure perfection! Don’t hesitate to rent this place.

The condo was clean and comfy and the bed was perfect. The beach right out the back door. Plenty of seating, I went out several morning before sunrise and seen more stars than ever. So peaceful and quiet. The location couldn’t be better. The kayaks were fun, we went around the island on morning in under two hours. I can’t say enough good about the condo, the hosts were spectacular answering all our questions and helping us get from and to the airport. We will definitely bring going back to the Spanish Wells and we would stay at this location again!

It couldn't have been better. Our hosts were some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Communication was abundant and prompt. The house was clean and cute. The pictures don't do it justice. From the moment we left the airport everything was well organized and exactly as described. The house was in a perfect location and steps to the water. Everyone was friendly. We felt safe wherever we went and we went everywhere a golf cart cart could take us. Thank you Lori and Vince for helping make our dream trip so special.

Beach Retreat
Beach Retreat was a perfect place to stay for my husband and me. We stayed a week and were able to enjoy meals cooked at the apartment as well as meals out. There are a large variety of water floats available for use. The process of getting to Spanish Wells and leaving was easy because Lori and Vince scheduled our ferry rides and taxi service to and from the airport. They were readily available to answer any questions and help with anything around the complex. We look forward to staying there again.

World’s best beach
This is our third time here. We have been to beaches in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Sardinia... but this beach on Spanish Wells blows them all away. The beach and unit are absolutely as pictured and described. Vince and Lori are such wonderful hosts, and the restaurants on the island offer delicious food and gorgeous views from the island. We can’t wait to visit again.

Great time in Spanish Wells
My husband and I stayed at Beach Retreat for a quick get away for my 50th birthday. The communication and check in/out was so easy with the property managers. The location on the beach was perfect - beautiful sand and crystal clear water was right outside your door. It's just a short golf cart trip to downtown where there are nice restaurants. The studio itself was very clean and had everything you needed for meals. The size of the studio was perfect for my husband and I - we didn't need anything else to make our trip wonderful. We will be back before the end of 2020.

This is the BEACH you've been looking for
Just returned from a 6 day stay at Beach Retreat. Everything was top notch from the beginning (booking) to end (checking out). We have used VRBO for a number of years renting from Massachusetts to Florida and now Spanish Wells. Lori provided the best service and is a top-notch rental manager/owner. The service she provides goes well beyond a 5-star resort. She organized our golf cart rental and transportation from the airport in N. Eleuthera. She also met us at the ferry upon our arrival and had us follow her to the rental. The studio is JUST as pictured, and the pictures of the beach don't do it justice- it's paradise. All the little things are provided; she even has clothespins for your beach towels ;) The surrounding neighbors are very friendly and we had a number of conversations with the locals. The local liquor and grocery stores are about 1/3 mins away. We had terrific meals at a number of restaurants (Sandbar, Wreckers, Shipyard and Budda's) and at quite reasonable prices for an island! Often times in a review one might say; "this/that could be improved on", but not this time. Impeccable studio! I'm actually looking to book our next stay already! Thanks, Lori and Vince

Perfect beachfront getaway
Beach retreat was a perfect getaway! The space had everything we needed, and was a wonderful quiet place to wake up in the morning and have the beach right off your porch.
Vince and Lori met us at the ferry, arranged for us to have a buggy to get around, and offered great recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Overall a wonderful experience.

The island is incredible and the room was amazing! It was truly the most beautiful place we have ever been! We ate all meals on the patio and woke up every morning even more amazed than the day before! We have found paradise and will be back to the “Beach Retreat” as it was the perfect location on the entire island!!!

Perfect beach vacation!
Our stay at Beach Retreat was absolutely perfect. The beach location is amazing as you can walk out of your room and directly onto the beach or sit on your porch and enjoy a beautiful view. Our kids loved exploring the sand bar every day or going for some island exploring in the golf cart. Definitely arrange to go fishing or snorkeling and plan a stop at the swimming pig island. So many fun things to do! Another highlight was when the property managers arranged for the kids to get to pick a coconut and someone came to break it open for them to try fresh coconut water! The rooms were great for a family as they have a futon for kids or a connecting door so kids can have their own space. Everything in the rental was so nice, clean and new. Also loved the beach decor! Will definitely recommend this place and definitely be back!

Dream Vacation!
Beach Retreat is a studio located in the best area of Spanish Wells on the best beach on the island. It is conveniently located to the Food Fair (largest grocery store on the island), the harbor, restaurants, liquor store and Papa Scoop's (best ice cream you'll ever eat). It is very clean and comfortable and was suitable for our every need. It is located on a world-class beach with crystal clear water for as far as you can see. It is perfect for families. Our family was content hanging out on the beach all day. The problem was that there is so much to do. Rent a boat and explore uninhabited islands, snorkel untouched coral reefs or fish the many reefs that protect the island. Do a day trip to Eleuthera and explore the many caves, Queen's Bath, Tippy's Bar or Surfer's Beach in Gregorytown. Jumping off the bridge and swimming at the park was something our kids loved to do. We also spent an afternoon touring Russell Island on our golf cart ending the day with dinner at the Sandbar Restaurant. I could write a book on this place. Needless to say we will be back. Sooner than later. I also want to express my appreciation to Vince and Lori Newbold. They are the property managers and I must say they are the best I've dealt with.
