This place exceeded my expectations. The outdoor space and barbeque area is absolutely fantastic. We were sorry to leave and cannot wait to pay them a return visit. Safe space and the host made us feel so welcome. We were 3 elderly ladies and he checked in on us regularly to see if we need help with lighting the fire etc. The selfcatering unit was perfect.
Absolutely nothing. Didn't like to leave it was so pleasant.

Lovely host. Striking decor. Very hospitable with shared space for drinks and cooking. The outdoor space is very nice too.
Very dim lighting. A few more charging points would be useful. We didn’t expect breakfast to be outsourced and provided offsite but it wasn’t too far away and very good.

Egbert was friendly and helpful. Location was central and convenient. We felt safe. Self catering unit was nicer than main house. Beds were comfortable.
The rooms in the main house were very dark and poorly lit. For the girls doing make up for a wedding it was impossible. No doors on the bathrooms, which is not great. Towels were old and threadbare.

The rooms were well advertised, pretty and inviting pictures. Loved the yellow door and the courtyard at the back. The host was also very accommodating as we arrived much later than the initial check in time due to unforeseen delays.
The bed was terribly uncomfortable; both my husband and I woke up with backache. Felt like the bed sloped to the one side. We were also not prepared for the amount of noise from the road, trucks especially during the night and morning hours. It clearly is situated on a busy road. We however, being unfamiliar with Robertson was not aware of that. We did not get a very good night sleep. But I am sure that for those who will get the opportunity to make an informed decision will enjoy the hospitality and accommodation.
