Joshua, the manager is a great communicator, super helpful and friendly. From meeting me at the boat on arrival to Lamu, carrying my suitcase up to my room to carrying it back again on departure.
You can watch the sunrise from the roof as you will be awake from the loud speakers screaming from the mosque which is very close.
My room was located near the top of the building and it was extremely windy as there was no glass, fly screens or shutters on the windows.

The property is in a good location close to Lamu Fort and within a walking distance to the tourist attraction, also the area is quiet compared to to other areas.
Joshua was an excellent host, he is helpful and responsive to any requests.
The room I rented which is called Wildebeeste was spacious and had its own kitchen, the mosquito net is of high quality and bed was comfy.
The sound isolation inside the room could be better as you can hear the neighbors and other hotel residents and also I assume they hear you.
But it was not a big issue for me.
