Overall, a very nice traditional Swahili house and decorated as such, in a perfect location with a view of the ocean from some of the rooms and of course the roof top terrace. The caretaker, Moses, was a gem to have as he took care of our every need including referrals for a restaurant, a guide and boat captain for our tours.

The house and furnishings need some TLC and voila, it would be superb!

Location just outside the busy area of old town. Very good breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere and nicely renovated house with roof top terrace and plenty of spaces in the common areas. Moses very friendly and helpful.

If you can get room with private balcony. Oldish toilet difficult to flush and not fixed to floor. Washbasin loose on stone vanity. Could do with a shower curtain. Furnishing looks a bit random.

The interior was very tasteful and the room very spacious, Moses was very kind and the breakfast healthy with lots of fruits

You will wake up every night between 4am - 5am because there is a mosque right next to the apartment and the Muezin will basically scream in your ear.
