This is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed in for sure. I am not exaggerating when I say everything was perfect. The rooms are beautiful Swahili style rooms with extra touches that you don't see elsewhere. The rooftop chilling areas are amazing, especially when you are hot and need a cool breeze! The breakfast is very cheap and delicious, and Arnold even made us a breakfast box to go when we had to leave early for our bus. The location nestled into the old town is so cool, exactly where you would want to stay in Lamu. Arnold gives you all the information about things to do, can book tours for you, and the best thing in my opinion are his food recommendations. It turned into a food holiday because the restaurants are so tasty and affordable. Thanks Arnold and Fred!

Arnold is very hospitable and always available whenever needed. He gives very helpful information for your stay at Lamu. His recommendations were also top notch 👌especially on restaurants. Best breakfasts to start the day.

Albert the owner and everyone he works with are so kind, and make adventuring on Lamu Island so simple. He provides a map and reviews of restaurants, provides advice, and schedules activities. My bed was comfortable and my room, while basic, was exactly as expected from photos and provided exactly what was needed for a budget stay on Lamu.
Don't be deterred by cold showers- they feel excellent after exploring Lamu!
