About this house rental
Hilltop guest house with easy access to I-15 freeway. This two story, fully furnished house with spacious rooms and beautiful views from both levels has two balconies and sits on three acres of avocado and fruit trees. Has gazebo, fountains, 20x40 pool (not heated and not warm enough for swimming November to early June), private patio overlooking valley and hills. This vacation home offers you the choice to just relax and enjoy the quiet, beautiful area or you are only four miles from the freeway and all that San Diego and Temecula have to offer. Beaches 20 miles away. Seaworld and Zoo 40 miles away. Wild Animal Park 30 minutes, and Disneyland only 75 miles away.

Views and landscaping were amazing. Pool was huge and well kept. Got to meet Mel upon checkout, and wish we would have met earlier. Super nice guy. Wish we could have shared a drink.

From the beginning of our communication about renting this guest house, I was very impressed by both the property and the hosts' responsiveness. The views were breathtaking, and the home was the perfect setting for my graduation celebration. Mel and Tina were accommodating in so many thoughtful ways. They even brought over a large pot and a hand mixer to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.After reading some of the reviews, I admit I was a little skeptical at first. However, it is important to keep in mind that the home is built on the side of a mountain and is accessed by a few narrow roads. The first drive up can feel a bit unfamiliar, so I would recommend making the initial trip during daylight rather than after dark.Overall, we fell in love with San Diego and truly enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely look forward to returning and renting this same home again.
