Was very comfortable and well priced compared to many of the beach resorts we stayed at.
A little hard to find because one of neighboring properties blocks off the path to it but once we figured it out we just drove around the barrier.

Stayed at Buenaventura Beach Resort and honestly, it exceeded expectations for the price. It has everything you need and more. While there’s no air conditioning, the surrounding trees keep the place cool enough to stay comfortable.
The room is spacious, clean, and comes with a comfortable bed. There’s also a refrigerator, a private CR, and both hot and cold shower available—definitely a plus. The host/owner is very accommodating and quick to respond to any concerns, making sure guests have a smooth and pleasant stay.
Such a hidden gem, especially with all the pricey resorts around—it offers the same beautiful beach experience and an even more relaxing stay.
What really stands out is the location. It’s incredibly close to the beach—just a few steps away. The water is crystal clear, the shoreline is wide, and best of all, it’s not crowded at all. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

This is a very comfortable clean super friendly guesthouse located about 50m back from the beach. We had an aircon room which was large, clean and comfortable. The aircon seemed new and was quiet and efficient. The shower had hot water. We also stayed at a beach front guesthouse and our room at Buenaventura was at least as good and much cheaper. The host Brian and his wife were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to any of the beach front guesthouses without sacrificing quality then this is your place!
