Nestled in Prime Hook Beach, this charming house for $354 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Charming bay front house on private beach. Bright and clean two story house with an open floor plan and plenty of indoor/outdoor space to relax. Swim, fish, sail, kayak, and sunbath on your own sandy beach. Enjoy the 180 degree view of passing ships and dolphins from the fully enclosed sun room. Located in the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge, this quiet community is away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and traffic. Enjoy the wildlife, star filled night sky, and wide open beach. Only 2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC, and 20 - 30 minutes to the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Cape Henlopen State Park, ocean beaches, historic Lewes, Outlet shopping, restaurants, and amusements. Sleeps 6 (or more with owner approval) people on three full beds and two futons. One Pet allowed with additional cleaning fee. Additional pets may be allowed with owner approval and additional fee.

Clean and well kept. Stocked with anything you could need. Comfy with plenty of room. My son even loved the basement futon. Definitely recommend and will be back.

The views here are just amazing. The beach is quiet and almost all to ourselves. This is a wildlife sanctuary and the beach clearly belongs to the horseshoe crabs - not people. The house was immaculate, the kitchen well provisioned, and the basement stocked with beachy stuff (chairs, games, etc).

The sunroom is just perfect - loved the trolley seat for eating and enjoyed our morning coffee on the couch watching the sunrise over the water. The kitchen had everything we needed for basic meals and loved that you could still see the water from there. The main floor bathroom was a bit small and challenging for managing a toddler so we ended up using the basement to shower. Would come again!

My family and I and the dogs have stayed here for 3 years now. It's still a lovely home, with some nice upgrades, and it is very easy to contact the landlord. However, the prices keep going up, the ceiling leaks when there is a bad rain, and the house wasn't as immaculate as in years past.

Property is precisely as advertised. It was very clean and the host gets extra kudos for thinking of literally everything to include with the house including sheets, towels, some toiletries, Saran, aluminum foil, spices, books, games. The front room overlooking the dune is quiet and serene. The rake for the beach seaweed (a lot) was most welcome and we used it each day. We very much appreciate the grill!

The view from the house is simply perfect. Coffee and sunrises every morning, and the dolphins gave us a show on our last morning!!
The downstairs bathroom is super convenient from the beach especially with children, and the shower down there made coming in extra easy as well.
House was very well equipped for cooking for the family and the was a full spread of plastic plates, bowls, and cups for the kiddos.
Highly recommended!! We already booked a repeat visit!!

We had an amazing week at Prime Hook. The wall of windows in this home gives an clear view of the water from every spot in the house. It was very relaxing and restorative. The beach is private. Lots of wildlife. We had so much fun here! Cooked fabulous meals - the kitchen is well stocked. The home was very clean. Mike and Laura were very responsive and accommodating. We hope to return someday soon!!

Great stay at a great location that is right on the beach and not too far from Lewes. Clean and spacious hose for the square feet. Easy communication with the owner. You will see other comments that might give a con of the flies on the beach but us knowing the area we came prepared with bug spray. Don’t let these comment make you miss out on this gem.

This was a great property! Just a few steps to the beach, which was very private and quiet. Kids spent many hours playing in the sand and the waves! Hosts were extremely responsive and answered all questions in a timely manner. House was clean and well stocked. Highlight of our trip was multiple dolphin sightings from the house!

We all had a wonderful time. I grew up vacationing in this area and it holds so many memories for me growing up with my friends. Many new memories are now being made with my children and grandchildren.
This beach house was perfect. It had a wonderful view & was clean and comfortable. It had everything we could ever need. I loved sitting and having coffee in the morning while watching the sunrise over the bay. we had fun picking crabs at the table while enjoying the view. A short 15 to 20 minute drive takes you to restaurants shopping and a boardwalk. We loved it, and will want to come back again. Also being able to bring our dogs was wonderful!

We had an amazing time! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were beautiful with the beach a few steps out the back door. Our family had a wonderful vacation, including our pups! The location was very private and relaxing, just what we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again!

We stayed here for a week as a group of 6 with a dog, everything was great. We cooked, we relaxed, we played board games, we watched TV and extensively used the beach.
My biggest complaint: only one cutting board... :)

This was the second time staying at this house right on the beach. Owners are easy to communicate with, the house is well stocked with everything one could need, beds are comfortable, and showers are perfect. (Love the new sink! )

4 night stay at the beach at Primehook Beach on the Delaware Bay. Cool & windy weather initially, but beautiful sunset 3/25 & beautiful sunny day on 3/26/2023. The views from the sunroom & proximity to the beach were perfect. The home had every thing you could think of… it was just like being at home complete with games, cards, even arts & crafts. Cable TV & being able to stream channels, & have Wi-Fi were also great. The basement was finished & even though we were a couple & a dog, there is plenty of places to sit.
My only suggestion would be mattress topper for more comfortable sleeping & more comfortable furniture in the living room, but overall GREAT stay & great, accurate communication from the owners

We loved our stay in this spacious home on a quiet beach. Nestled between the bay and a nature preserve, the home provides plenty of windows for a beautiful view of the water with morning sunrises. While our stay included a pretty fierce cold wind, the house was superbly sealed and plenty warm. We look forward to returning soon.

We spent a perfectly idyllic Christmas getaway at this beautiful home on a quiet stretch of Prime Hook Beach. The house itself is very well appointed and fully equipped—and the location couldn’t be better. We enjoyed our stay so much we’d like to return when the weather is warmer!

Not sure if the beach in November appeals to you, but we love it and this house was perfect for us. Clean & quaint with the beach in your backyard and nature trails just a short drive away. We loved eating and playing games at the ferry booth in the sunroom, and our dog couldn't get enough of the smells and sounds of the ocean.

We stayed here for a birthday weekend with out two dogs. The place is perfect. Full size beds in each bedroom, so we aware if you are over 6 ft tall like me. Upstairs shower was also a little tight for a big guy, but downstairs was perfect. We brought some bake and cook ware, but didn't need it as the place was well equiped. Walked on the beach with the dogs for many miles and met very friendly people and pups. The sun porch that looks out at the bay was amazing and we spent most of our time there just looking out at the water. Groceries are a short drive away. Just don't try to stay the same weekend next year, because we will beat you to the reservation!!

This property is just lovely. Right on the bay with incredible views from the windowed porch. Very clean and comfortable. Property manager is so nice and so easy to communicate with. We just really love this place, as well as the peaceful, dog friendly and beautiful beach.

We loved this classic beach house. Sparkling clean, comfy furniture and beds, From coffee in the morning to running the dishwasher in evening, everything worked perfectly.
The sun porch is delightful for watching waves and ships and shore birds. Even when the remnants of Hurricane Ian whipped up the ocean a bit. Our dogs were in heaven on the beach and in the surf.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beach house! The views from this house are amazing. I could sit on the enclosed sun porch all day and just watch the water! The house was perfect for our stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs. Very grateful that you allow pets! Look forward to renting this house again!

The house was spotless and you could smell how clean it was. This is our 4th time in the house. Mike and Laura are wonderful hosts. We had everything we needed in the home. The view is amazing and our family and dogs loved watching the sunrise walking along the beach , Which is steps from the house. The house isn’t to far from shopping and Rehoboth. We look forward to coming back again next year. It is a beautiful home to spend quality time with family and friends.

We loved our time here! The house was well maintained, prepared for guests (even the beds were made up and towels provided), and amazing views! The convenience of the beachfront house with the basement shower was awesome for popping back and forth to the beach with no haste! Definitely would love to stay again!

Great Week in Primehook
We enjoyed our week in this bright, clean, and well-appointed beach rental! The property was thoughtfully furnished and stocked. It was just right for our family of four and dogs - we were all comfortable and loved being right in the beach. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood, private beach, and the wildlife preserve during our stay. We especially enjoyed the beach during low tide and of course the beautiful sunrises each morning. We also enjoyed getting out to Lewes and Rehoboth for shopping, eating out, and fun. We also enjoyed the larger surf of nearby Cape Henlopen Park beaches. A great week all around!

We had a beautiful stay it was very very relaxing it was a little far from everything but the nature preserve and the birds were incredible if you are a nature lover this is a Beach for you absolutely love the nature part of the f our stay.

Beach fosters swarms of pesky biting flies & has many carcasses of horseshoe crabs. Stepping on one might leave unpleasant wounds. Sand flies ambush you on the path to the beach. Come prepared as their painful bite cause long lasting itch. Bathroom is tiny with a Lilliputian shower 31" by 27". Claims it sleeps 8, but will charge you $ 100 extra for each for 7th & 8th guest. Expect, under the guise of maintenance, someone to come snooping on you. Enjoy!

This was our 2nd time staying at this house in Prime Hook! We absolutely love the location. The house is great and pet friendly! Communication with owners is simple through the VRBO app and they are quick to respond. We had a great time!
