About this house rental
Nestled in Prime Hook Beach, this lovely house for $280 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. 2 steps and you are in our First Floor with kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and family room. You can let your pets right out to our fenced back yard. Just open the sliding door and you can watch them. Two more bedrooms and four decks are upstairs. Wonderful views. Off Season rentals ( Oct -April) have a substantial discount for bookings of 4 weeks or more. Please note you will need to bring your own sheets and towels. We used to offer a linen rental but due to covid 19 we no longer do that. Prime Hook Beach is a private beach with access to the beach for visitors at the cross streets. This is typical for beaches where privately owned homes are beachfront. Come enjoy the 5 decks and incredible space our home has to offer. There are movies, games, and bikes. Come and relax at our home at Primehook Beach. We are across the street from the beach. Watch the dolphins in the open waters of the Delaware Bay from our second and third floors or the snow geese, grackles and gulls from our backyard that adjoins the Primehook National Wildlife Reserve. With three floors there is plenty of room for your family to spread out and relax. The top two floors were built in 2003 and the first floor has been remodeled. We are across the street from the beach on the Delaware Bay, a short walk. Enjoy bike rides in our private community or go for long walks along the quiet beach looking for shells and sea glass. You will quickly see why Primehook is such a gem. It reminds us of Nags Head, only much closer or Ocean City, MD how it was 60 years ago. We have two bedrooms on the first floor. One with a king size bed, the other with a full. They share a bathroom with a tub and shower. There is bedroom with 2 single beds set up as bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower on the second floor. The third floor has a loft bedroom with a queen size bed and its own half bathroom.This bedroom has a view of the water. At night you can lay in bed and see the ships with their lights on anchored in the Bay. In nearby Milton, about 9 miles away, we have a Food Lion, a Walgreens, a Subway, a Chinese carryout, a Domino's and one of our favorites, the Miltonian Restaurant with Greek/Italian and American cuisine. For more shopping we have Lewes and Rehobeth south on Route 1. There is the Boardwalk in Rehobeth and further south, in Ocean City as well as historic sites, theatres, amusement parks, the incomparable Henlopen State Park on the ocean in Rehobeth and all kinds of experiences awaiting you at the shore. Ask us to send you our rental agreement so you can book your rental while there is still time. By the way, no waiting for keys at our house, we have resort lock so we can email access codes directly to you. Options: We have a pet fee of $100 per pet per rental, a kayak rental fee of $150 which includes two sit on top kayaks, two life vests, two paddles and two wheeled carts. We had a great time at Prime Hook Beach. Three generations including an 8 month old baby. We all had a good time. The roof top deck was a great place to relax and take pictures, especially at night. The stars and Milky Way were spectacular. The house layout and location were perfect. Ron and Anne were great in answering any question we had about the area. We will definitely be back to Delaware.

Nice location but NOT Water Front or Beach Front. Limited beach access and if you go more than 50 feet to the left or right of the beach access, owners will come out on the beach and tell you to MOVE OFF THEIR BEACH! Not a nice or positive experience

Great weather throughout the week. Ample space for everyone in the family. Owners were quick to respond to questions. Lewes, Rehoboth, and Milton (Food Lion, Walgreens, Dollar Store) are short drives away.

If you're looking for a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the world, this is the place. The house is close to beach access with breathtaking views. The second floor is spacious and perfect for the whole family to gather. The kitchen is lacking some bakeware like casserole dishes and serving bowls but the frying pans are wonderful.

We really enjoyed this home! Fantastic balconies to sit on to view either direction. The one on the roof is spectacular! The set up of the home is unique and spacious. The fenced in yard was so great for our dogs. This is a home I would love to stay in again the next time we visit Primehook.

Our family’s stay at this property was lovely. The views from the decks were incredible especially at sunset. The common area upstairs was spacious, a perfect place for our family to play games, read and relax. The beach was great, very private and family friendly. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the ocean. It was wonderful taking in all the wildlife in this remote gem of a seaside town

The house was just what we needed for a family getaway, dog included! It is well stocked with everything you need for the beach and is in a lovely, quiet location which backs to Primehook Reserve. The yard is fenced to keep your pup safe and it’s a short drive to Lewes and Cape Henlopen. Ron is a great host

We love the birds of the Delaware Bay and this home in a quiet neighborhood is an ideal base. Lots of steps, but when you get up to that top deck on the roof and take in a complete view of the bay on one side and the wetland wildlife refuge on the other side. Wonderful! Appreciated the condiments in the fridge (mustards, mayo, ketchup, salad dressing, relish, etc. Thanks for being pet friendly -- our small hound dog Jasper enjoyed walks on the beach, the fenced back yard and all the wonderful scents coming in to him from the marsh.

Multiple decks. Incredible scenery. Easy access to a virtually empty beach. Enclosed back yard for the pups with the wildlife refuge to captivate them. This home on Prime Hook Beach is the perfect place to get away from it all. Stunning views of the wildlife estuary to the west, complete with magnificent sunsets! Nice view of the DE Bay from the upper floors. Quick and easy access to a nice, sparcely populated beach. This home is laid out nicely giving privacy to folks with great areas to gather together. Fenced in backyard for the pups wis a huge plus for dog owners. All and all a wonderful place to have the fun of the beach in the beauty of nature!
