Good location with pretty view

Good location like only five mins from train station to the hotel. Really convenient to travel to izu kogen or izu shimoda if you got a two day pass or three day pass. Close to the ocean so you can hear the waves all days

A little bit cold due to rainy weather but you can use an AC in the room.

In general its really great for what you pay. It’s an old Japanese house so that’s to be considered.

The view from the room was amazing and the owners super kind. He can speak English, Japanese and Chinese which is super convenient for any travelers. We even got a ride to the next combini when it was raining and the closest one was already closed.

古くて落ち着く宿＾＾。

シーツもタオルも清潔で、快適に眠れました。オーナーさんが癒し系で、丁寧に説明してくれました。翌朝も温かく見送っていただきました。

昼間に日帰り温泉に入ったので、お風呂には入らなかったのですが、お風呂が古いところですかね。

We used the hotel as a prelude to our trip up the mountain and had an interesting experience around

The support of the friendly staff, and the good location near the fishing port and hot springs, with bath and face towels, toothbrushes, and paper cups as amenities.

Because the hotel is in an old house, there were some concerns: the showers were fine, but there was not enough hot water to store hot water for the baths, and the facilities were showing their age, but overall, the hotel was kept clean, which was not a problem given the cost of the stay.

让人感到幸福的伊豆两日！！

地理位置很不错，比伊豆北川其他几个酒店都离电车站要近，步行大约三四分钟就可以到达，伊豆北川站到大室山，城崎海岸，河津樱花祭都只有两三站电车的距离，离黑根岩温泉也只要步行几分钟，还蛮方便的。民宿是传统的日式建筑，但是设施齐全，干净整洁，最重要的大海离民宿就只有十米的距离，视野很棒！天气晴朗的时候一推开窗户，真是绝了。民宿老板夫妇俩都是热情的东北人，人特别实在，也总替我们着想，入住两晚的时间里，在游玩和出行上给我们提供了非常多的信息和帮助，和叔叔阿姨聊天也非常开心，听到了很多在日本生活的故事。期待下一次日本行能再会！

Pension Sympa, accès à toute la péninsule facile

La localisation en bord de mer, sur la ligne de train izukyu (je vous conseille de prendre un pas si vous restez plusieurs nuits). Petit village calme de la cote. Maison ancienne, tatamis dans la chambre et petite baignoire dans la salle de bain. Il y a également une cuisine et un frigo. Le propriétaire est à l’écoute et fait en sorte que le séjour se passe dans le calme.

Chambre avec 2lits superposés ça dépends sur qui on tombe. Pensez aux boules quiess et tout ira bien ;)

Exceptional

The owners of the gutesthouse where super friendly, i felt like home there. They helped me with the planning of short trips around the peninsula, gave me a lot of tipps and answered all my questions. If i could, i would have stayed much longer! The village is very calm and peaceful, and with a short trainride you can go to all the other villages and places around the peninsula. I really enjoyed my stay here! Best guesthouse in japan!

Relaxing holiday with an open air onsen close by

Its a good location for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a small town. We stayed over the weekend, its easy to take the train to other towns (although it doesnt go that frequently). The nearby Hokkawa onsen (Kurone iwaburo) has to be one of our favorite onsens we have visited, with the bath facing out to the sea, really recommend a visit!! The owner of the guesthous is very sweet and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Will definitely come back!

Great traditional Japanese accommodation experience, thank you.

The accommodation is very close to the seaside, so you can get up early to watch the sunrise. There is an open-air hot spring (Heigen Rock Fenglu) next to the accommodation. Watching the waves soak in the hot spring, it is a wonderful experience.

The wooden stairs on the second floor are a little bumpy, and it hurts to step on them. I hope you can add a non-slip cushion.

Good to stay for short trip

It was close to train station and the sea. Facility was clean, and staffs were kind. If you need only bed to sleep with no special request, it might good for you. Wifi is available. Dormitory room is mixed but each bed has curtain, so you have your private space. Also there is fan, plug and lamp in the bed.

It was a bit small, there was no common area to work/read or chat with others. If you need a work space for your remote-work, it should be better to prefer other places.

Fantastic

The host was very helpful and friendly. He and his wife really wanted to make sure that I enjoyed my time and I was comfortable while I was staying with them, which I absolutely was.

The only complaint is the hike up to the train station on the top of the hill, but no one can do anything about that.

The owner treated us so nice! The property is in a quiet village but very close to the train station. Our stay was very comfortable. The owner even allowed us to keep our luggage there after checkout and then gave us a ride to the train station. Would definitely come again!

Pleasant stay at a small town seaside.

The property was clean, the owners were friendly and nice. The place is right on the seaside so we were able to see the sunrise. It is as well only a couple of minutes away from a small store and a very nice hot spring on the sea shore.

Nice place to stop by and enjoy the ocean scene and hot spring.

Very nice place to see the sea and the sunrise. Hot spring nearby has a great view of the ocean. The owner is very friendly too.

Only for loners, single travelers and just a night stay

The location of the property is very good and convenient. Cleanliness is maintained properly. The host was quite welcoming.

The property was completely made up of wood so a little walking in and around the room would create a lot of creaking noise every now and then. The rooms were adjacent to each other so you could clearly hear the other guests talking, snoring, giggling, not very much private as it was very quiet in there. All the facilities like washroom, toilet, oven, fridge were common so not very convenient. We had to wait until the other person frees the bathroom or WC. If you want to just stay overnight and continue your journey then this is a good place. Those who love to stay alone or quiet time they can very well feel comfortable here. The rooms are not airy at all so sometimes felt suffocated. All in all budget stay. The owner kept instructing although we understood and agreed to follow everything properly.

Poor

The host was very friendly and made me feel welcome. It was the cheapest accomodation I could find in the area.

When I tried to use the bathroom in the evening I couldn't access it, meaning I had no access to hot water or a decent sized sink to wash in. I had to resort to using the sink that's connected to the toilet and use cold water to wash myself. There was no where to buy food, I had to get a train and spend a few hours to find a convenient store so I could eat. The room was very cold, I used the heater but it didn't work very well.

Very nice place to relax! With a lot of onsen around

Just in front of the sea! It was a full moon night and the sky was clear! I want to go there every month! It’s a good place if you want to relax after hiking the costal trial, the bed was so comfy with a heater in the room, and you can stretch your legs on the many onsen near by. The owner was nice and he was ready for all my questions. I will go again for sure!

Because My room was near to the owner room, and I sleep early, I could hear them talking all the time. It was a hard to sleep without a ear cover.
