Situated in Tavernier, this attractive condo for $286 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Located on 60 acres in the heart of the Upper Keys, the private and gated Ocean Pointe grounds offer a home-away-from-home in a natural island paradise. Tropically inspired buildings with blue roofs and shutters blend into a natural setting of green foliage, the blue Atlantic Ocean, and white sand. No resort in the Florida Keys is complete without a marina, and Ocean Pointe is no exception. For an additional fee payable to the Condo association the Ocean Pointe Marina can accommodate crafts up to to 28 feet with access to the boat ramp and boat trailer parking available. Please ask for the Ocean Pointe Marina costs and requirements. While you re not out fishing or diving, you can lounge by the Olympic sized swimming pool - which has been totally renovated in 2016 - complete with lounge chairs, and spa hot tub. For a dip in the Atlantic Ocean, there is the sandy beach cove, framed by a long wooden boardwalk leading to covered gazebo with seating, perfect for taking in the never-ending ocean vistas. Snorkelers from the beach often see leopard rays, lobsters, baby barracuda, cowfish, and other varieties of marine life. The beach has a volleyball net and thatched chickees. ABOUT OUR UNIT: Our condo has everything you ll need to make your vacation one to remember. The master suite has a king size bed, private master bath and flat screen TV. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and connects directly into the shared hall bath. All beds have full linens including cotton sheets and lightweight comforters. There is a queen size pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. Pool and beach linens are also provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with a full appliance package, cooking utensils, cutlery, cookware, coffee maker, dishes and more. The unit also has a washer and dryer (not a shared laundry room) for light loads *****PLEASE NOTE, IF YOUR DRIVING THE ASSOCIATION HAS COME UP WITH A RULE..ANY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES WITH ANY TYPE OF SIGNAGE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON PROPERTY, ALSO ANY TYPE OF RV'S ARE NOT ALLOWED ON PROPERTY, TRAILERS OF ANY SORT BEING PULLED MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CONDO ASSOCIATION AND A PARKING SPACE WILL BE ASSIGNED, A FEE WILL BE ASSESSED BY THE ASSOCIATION*****

The condo worked well for our family of 5 as there is enough room for everyone. The pool and hot tub are great. The tennis courts and pickleball courts are great but need your own equipment. Condo does have 2 tennis rackets but balls are bad...need to bring your own. States there is a volleyball court but there isn't. Tried fishing in the marina but no luck...not much there but small bait fish. The kitchen has everything you need and bathrooms are nice. The king bed is comfortable but twin beds are not and very squeaky. My 17 yr old 6' 1" daughter slept on couch which wasn't too bad....not open. All the pillows are lumpy and not comfortable which is probably the biggest issue at condo. The patio is very small and cam only hold 1 seated person. The doors to patio are very hard to open...need to be fixed. Needs better instructions for the 2 remotes for each TV....very confusing. Recommend noise makers while sleeping as walls are thin and will hear everything around you and above....we always travel with them. Gordon is very nice and helpful with anything you may need and knows the area well and best places to eat and shop groceries.

Great location in the Upper Keys. Close to Islamorada and Key Largo. Beautiful pier to relax and a small beach area for snorkeling and swimming.

We loved the location. Spacious condo. Comfy bed. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Perfect spot for settling down after a long day of boating.

Pleasant and well kept facility. This particular unit doesn't have the water view as some of the others. Not a big deal for us, as we were on the go most of our stay. Short walk to enjoy the pool and small beach area with a pier. This was our second stay at Ocean Point.

First time to the Florida keys. We had the best time and can’t say enough about our stay. The pool was fantastic, Tavenier is centrally located and so easy to get around. I think we hit every beautiful restaurant/bar in the area. The sunsets were breathtaking and the rum runners were fun too! So much to love. We are Already planning our next trip. The sunshine state lives up to its name, and then some.

Oceanpoint is a condo complex just south of Key Largo. Nicely landscaped property, including a beautiful swimming pool and a small white sandy beach. Our condo unit was pleasant. If your Florida vacation focuses on the northern keys. this is an excellent location. We didn’t realize that the drive to Key West is about two hours.,

We loved our time here. The location was great and the unit was perfect for our family of 5. Gordon made check in easy and the unit was stocked with anything we could have wanted. We had friends staying in other buildings and the property was great, not too big that we had to go far to gather.

Gordon was very helpful and flexible…. We drove from Maryland/ Virginia area and I drive took significantly less than anticipated but were still crispy after driving all night long. Gordon bent over backwards aiding us in an early entry and it was well appreciated! Would stay again anytime.

Communication was excellent. Gordon was very friendly and helpful. So kind to not only us, but a group that had stayed immediately prior, who had lost a ring. He called us and we searched but sadly couldn't find it. The place is clean and pretty updated. It was perfect for our needs. Never went to pool but did walk down to beach, which was clean and well kept up. Highly suggest Old Tavernier for higher end meal or cocktails, Square Grouper was excellent for dinner, wait can be long but nice dock you can walk on or rockers on porch with a waiter for drinks. Lazy Days also an old favorite with beautiful ocean views/lighthouse view, excellent food. Morada Bay great for sunset and sandwich fare. Lorelei excellent also for sunset and large portions. For local entertainment we love The Whistle Stop and the brick oven pizza next door!! Love the keys, I used to be a "local" for a few years, and its wonderful to go back and introduce my family to a place I remember so fondly. Would definitely stay again.

We love the Ocean Pointe property. The pool, hot tub, pool bar and Marina are outstanding. We felt safe and the grounds are well-kept! This unit was spacious and clean. Thank you , Gordon!

We were traveling from Indiana with a bike rack on our rv, during the trip the bike rack failed and forced us to rent a small 5x8 trailer to continue the trip and not have to leave bikes and cargo along I75. Upon arriving to the property, the facility would not allow us to bring the trailer onto the site even to unload. After some lengthy and heated conversations the "guard" finally allowed us to pull into the facility to unload and demanded that the trailer be removed ASAP. (10 minutes) or be towed, Upon which they gave me a name of a facility to store the small 5x8 trailer at a cost of $200.00. for 5 days. Fortunately, I managed to find storage for the small trailer at no cost for the week. Upon checkout time the same issue happened and I finally was able to reach the property manager to assist me in getting the trailer in and loaded. the permanent residents at the complex were rude and were making comments to me as we were loading the trailer which took 15 minutes. I understand that there are rules at the establishments, however to not offer to assist in any way during this situation which was obviously not planned seemed to be unprofessional and aggravating. The condo had a sewer gas smell emanating in the condo, we attempted to remedy the situation my making sure all of the traps in the drains had sufficient water in them, this was less than desirable when in the building. This facility was not concerned about even trying to help in any way.

Nice clean condo with roomy bedrooms and baths. Smallish L.R. and no table for eating but 4 stools at the kitchen peninsula. The only negative for us was the fees being charged to use the complex pool which was not disclosed before booking.

Everything worked well. Gordon was great. Location was very good. Next time we'll go where there are no children. They made the beautiful pool less enjoyable.
