Nestled in Tavernier, this charming condo for $242 per night is a great option for your next vacation. With thoughtful and creative touches, both inside and out, mixed with a keen attention to the smallest of details, this oceanfront condo exudes a breezy sense of magic, whimsy and laid back Florida Keys style. Upon entering the home you’ll be greeted by the blue-green colors of the Atlantic and lush mangroves of the protected nature preserve. You'll find coastal inspired two bedroom two bathroom apartment tastefully decorated with all new kitchen, bath, furniture, lighting and bedding, including stainless steel appliances and washer/dryer. Gather in the spacious living room with your family and play a board game from the many you will have to choose from. There is also a large flat screen television to enjoy a movie for a quiet night in. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking essentials. The master bedroom features a king sized bed with superior 400 thread count sheets, and flat screen television and private step out balcony. The ensuite master bathroom has a spacious custom shower. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and connected bathroom that features a shower/tub combo. This condo is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet weekend in The Keys. It is also conveniently located between Islamorada and Key Largo, perfect for sport fisherman and dive enthusiast. Ocean Pointe is located about 70 miles from Miami and 90 miles from Key West. The property has 24 hour security and is completely gated. Amenities include a newly renovated, junior olympic, heated swimming pool, a 14 person jacuzzi, private sandy pocket beach, fishing pier, oceanfront marina with boat ramp and dockage, lighted tennis courts, oceanfront gazebo, boat & trailer storage and more - all situated on 60 lush tropical acres. The resort is ideally located just minutes away from some of the finest Restaurants, Snorkeling & Diving Excursions, and Fishing Adventures in the Florida Keys. You can literally jump on your boat and within 3 minutes be off into the Atlantic Ocean. No need to look any further. This resort and our unit offers everything that you are looking for when seeking an extraordinary vacation. Relax, sit back, and enjoy the Florida Keys as you watch the sunrise from the balcony Your condo will come stocked with the following items in your Welcome Kit to get you started for a fun and relaxing stay in the Upper Keys: two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom; two rolls of paper towels in the kitchen; dishwashing capsules; laundry detergent capsules or liquid; one pack of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom; trash bags; hand soap; and dish soap. NOTE: Food and Beverage service at the pool bar will be temporarily closed starting September 2023. 3-7 day stay requirement varies by time of year. No arrivals on Christmas day.

We had a terrific time at this Tavernier property and it fit three brothers perfectly. Check-in was easy and the villa/condo was as advertised. Beds were big and comfortable, as was the sleeper sofa. Plenty of cooking items and utensils. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes very well, but that was a minor inconvenience. Loved having excellent ocean views throughout the day. The other amenities (e.g., pool, harbor, etc.) were nice though we didn't partake much due to the cooler temps in late January. Still, quite close to other options in Tavernier and Key Largo. Speaking of Largo, he was our host and he responded quickly and capably anytime I had a request, even with tips on fishing charters. Thanks so much; look forward to hopefully visiting again!

Our stay was perfect. First, what isn’t in the description is that the complex is surrounded by conservation land. That alone was amazing - we watched the sun rise and listened to the birds off the porch. The colony of feral cats (well cared for) is adorable too - all in all the property has just the right amount of “real Florida” feel while providing all the amenities. The condo was exactly what we needed - had pool towels, a cooler, pickle ball set… pool is huge and clean. Laundry is super helpful!
We spent three days - snorkeling at John Pennekamp State Park (you can snorkel right off Cannon Beach, renting all the equipment you need), eco-tour at Biscayne National Park and a half day at Bahia Honda State Park (beach is amazing and you can rent umbrellas at the snack shack) and then continued to Key West. We liked the upper and middle keys much more then Key West but you have to do it at least once!!
Henrietta’s, Pinecrest Bakery and Robbie’s for breakfast (you have to feed the tarpon at Robbie’s!). Loreleis for an amazing sunset dinner and live music and Snappers for drinks at the outside bar (we were the only tourists here and the locals were so friendly). What the Fish for a casual dockside supper - the crab cake sandwich has curry and is delicious. All had fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and great food.
We love to travel and rarely return to the same place twice but this is a place I can see us returning - great trip and this condo made it a great value

The condo was great, exactly as detailed. The location is great and conveniently located. The bedding and beds were comfortable and everything was well stocked for our brief stay. Our host was communicative and helpful. The properties facilities were quite nice, just be prepared for a pool in the summer that feels more like a hot tub at 95 degrees!

Our condo was terrific. Clean and spacious. One issue I will mention is the spacing on the posts on the guardrails on the balconies are too far apart. My grandson could slide thru very easily. So he wasn’t allowed on the balcony at all without an adult with him.

My son, his wife and I rented this beautiful condo in Tavernier Key to celebrate their birthdays. We were not disappointed with it! It Is completely updated as shown in the VRBO photos. This 4th floor condo has a wonderful view of the preserve and Atlantic Ocean! The resort swimming pool is beautiful and huge and there were plenty chairs available during our earl May 4 day stay. The convenient pool snack bar was open providing drinks and snacks for sale. The beach and boardwalk to the Gazebo are beautiful! There is also a cafe and bar on the second floor of the building conveniently adjacent to the beach.
We found 3 waterfront restaurants that we loved. Snappers Restaurant in Key Largo is close to our condo on the Atlantic Ocean and has delicious food and live music at night. Marada Bay Beach Cafe on the Gulf in Islamorada was recommended by Largo and we had had great food and a sunset view! Lorelei Restaurant in Islamorada is on the Gulf and a great place to have a drink and watch the sunsets!
Two wonderful restaurants close to our condo for breakfast are Mrs. Mac's and Harriett's in key Largo close to each other on the Gulf side of US1. The food is delicious and inexpensive!.
We really enjoyed our stay in Largo's beautiful penthouse condo and would definitely stay there again! I highly recommend it! You will not be disappointed!

This is our 4th time at Ocean Point. The Condo is clean and nicely furnished . It was just me and hubby but there is plenty of room for another couple or a few kids. We really enjoyed the pool and met a lot of great couples and families . The kids at the pool have a ball but it’s not so crazy that adults can’t relax and enjoy a cocktail. Location is perfect for exploring Islamorada and Key Largo. Also convenient to all the keys and we always take a day trip to Key West. We highly recommend and will be back for sure😎

My family had a great stay at this property. Check in was simple, unit was very clean, and we had plenty of supplies for our stay. We used it as a home base for exploring the Everglades and Keys, and it was perfect for my family. We only visited the pool twice -- but it was nice-- large and not too crowded when we were there. We would definitely stay here again if we travel to the Keys.

This unit and property is amazing. The unit had everything we needed and more! Very well stocked, very clean and perfect for the five of us. It is right across from the pool and the pickle ball. It also has a charcoal grill outdoors, which was perfect for our big fish dinner. We rented a boat slip, which worked out perfect. We could not have asked for a nicer unit. The host was very responsive. No issues! Thank you again for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.

2nd time staying at this property and was as nice as the last. We really like the area and the facilities; the combination of the private beach and the pool is awesome. The area is quiet and low key; great for retired folks like us. Highly recommend for an early winter visit to get away from the icy Northeast..

We were in town over Labor Day weekend to attend a wedding in Key Largo. The condo served as a great home base for 4 of us. We were a quick ride from the venue and thoroughly enjoyed staying in a less congested area. The pool was beautiful and very relaxing. We experienced a couple of issues in the condo, but Largo was quick to respond and helped resolve things quickly.

The property itself had no issues... when looking at reviews, it wasn't noted that this is not a place to go for the beaches... there was a horrible Sulphur (*rotten egg to the point of choking you) smell when you went to the beach, this is known to the locals, but not someone coming for the first time. When you are interested in watersports - snorkeling, jet skiing, boating, or going to the pool; it's great! If not, then do not go to this area to enjoy the beaches and sit on your tush, go to the Gulf (Destin or Fort Walton). It's not all the time, but I don't want to take chances on it next time. Will go back to snorkel and stay here! :)

We came to this area for a week to go lobster diving and fishing. This condo was perfect for the four of us. Pool was nice and large unfortunately we were in the ocean all day so we didn’t get to utilize it as much as we’d like. Largo was super sweet and there were plenty of items in condo for washing dishes, hand soap, toiletries, toilet paper and paper towels to get us started. Thanks for sharing your property with us. We’d definitely recommend it to others.

Great Place
Had a wonderful week at this awesome property. The host was excellent and answered some questions for us very quickly. Highly recommend renting from this owner! Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
Pros:
Check in was easy and only took about 15 minutes at the front gate. Unit was very clean and comfortable, even the beds!
Unit had everything you could want or need in the kitchen
It had a nice view off the patios that attach to the primary bedroom and the living room.
Short walk over to the pool where we spent time every day!
Pool has a little shack where you can buy beverages and you can bring a cooler down to the pool as long as there is no glass.
Many restaurants and shops close by
Cons:
Pool shack and restaurant on property were very short staffed and not always open when they said they would be.
Only two cars are allowed on property. Unfortunately friends tried to surprise visit us and were turned away. (they can park remotely and you can drive out pick them up and bring them in)
Many people putting towels on chairs at the pool and leaving. Made getting a seat at the pool difficult.

Owner was very helpful/responsive. Rental was exactly as expected. Very clean. Comfortable furnishings. Close to the pool. An added bonus, we didn’t expect to have two balconies! Only wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely spacious enough for an extended stay.
