Its a charming place, walking distance to the beach and a nice getaway from the hustle/bustle of Margaret River. It has appliances (oven/microwave/induction stove) and crockery available for cooking. Pillows are comfortable, general linen is clean. The water in shower heats up quickly.
Well - we came in on a hot day 39C. The aircon was struggling to cool the place down, I am unsure if there was sufficient coolant in the aircon, if you forced it any more it would trip the circuit. The ceiling fans also struggle to cool the place down. With the change of weather in the evenings, we found all the windows were all locked in, we couldn't unlock it with any keys provided. Hence our night was left rather warm through the evening, as if we had opened the balcony, we would have had the problems with flies and mosquitoes. Good thing, we had a change of weather the next day. We did bring it up as an area of concern at the start of our stay, there wasn't an acknowledgement.
Some cutlery and cookware were not clean thoroughly. You may want to grab items like drinking water, paper towels, if you are staying for more than a few days.
Despite booking through booking.com, the comms were a little excessive on emails and text; it does make it confusing and hard to keep up. And as I had done the booking through booking.com, I was surprised that an additional request for credit card authorisation was asked as part of their pre-check in on the portal.
I think it might be easier to keep notes on check-in, house operation and departure simplified.

Fabulous house with everything you could want. Amazing ocean views from the large balcony to watch the changes in the weather. We love Gracetown, central to everything.

Security on the house is poor. One garage door has no lock so easy for someone to get into the garage and then into the house. The door at the side entrance was unlocked when we arrived and the only way to lock it was with a bolt lock. The window in the second bedroom cannot be locked. It can be opened from the outside.
There was no shampoo in the main bathroom. There was no tea towels and cloth to wash dishes with. We had to supply our own.
