About this condo rental
Located in Myrtle Beach, this attractive condo for $210 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Condo 511 is a true one bedroom unit directly on the ocean. The unit located on the 5th floor, is on the southern end of the building with a nice balcony and commanding views of the ocean. One of the amazing things about 511 is the size of the balcony. This balcony is over 160 square feet. As you can see from the floor plan in the pictures, there is a separate bedroom with a king bed and a double wall bed in the living room. So, the adults can stay up late while the kids are tucked snug in bed. The condo is a unique feel with a real apartment type living space, perfect for families. There is a fully stocked kitchen with anything and everything you could need for dining in on those days when you just want to relax at the beach. The pool area includes a full size pool, a full size lazy river, a small kid’s lazy river, a kid’s splash zone and hot tub. On the seventh floor, here is an additional hot tub along with an indoor pool . Oceanfront on the seventh floor is a huge sun deck with chairs, tables, loungers and hammocks for your enjoyment in a tropical environment. After a hot day on the beach, relax with a cool shower and a calm night watching movies or playing games. There is a flat screen with DVD player in the living room as well as the bedroom with a large selection of dvds in the living room. There is also a selection of board games for the family along puzzles for the more ambitious among us. For the intellectuals, there is a wide selection of reading material to help you pass the time plus some kids books for bed time stories. We booked a week long stay in Myrtle Beach just after Christmas. The resort was clean for the most part, slightly dated but other than that it was great. Our room was great, we breath taking views of the ocean right off our large patio. The outdoor pool, hot tub & lazy river float were all operational, but the indoor pool and hot tub were not and there wasn't anything noted in the listing about it nor did I see anything in any conversing emails, so that was a little disappointing. The parking garage on the one side of the street was tight especially if you drive a larger vehicle and we couldn't park on our own level as it was blocked off, leaving no spots available at all and we ended up having to park across the street at the main building, which isn't a huge issue, just a slight inconvenience. Overall, we would stay here again as there were no major issues, we are looking forward to future bookings :).

The condo itself was old but well maintained. Had convection oven/microwave that was not conducive to use with no instructions. Sliding door to patio needs greased, too hard to open/close.
The Caravelle itself is old. Needs new carpet in halls. Garage is dark and needs lighting. Where is the pool and hot tub on 7th floor? We couldn’t find it! Should be removed from your advertising if not there!
Now for the brighter side!! We had a wonderful time!! The weather cooperated and was gorgeous as was the outdoor pools and hot tub. The pools had beautiful lighting. The elevators were in great working order and very efficient.
The condo was very clean and the towels and bedding was exceptional! The refrigerator/freezer was outstanding! It would have been nice to have a couple of trash bags. You have to buy a whole box at the store. I must admit that we were disappointed that there could not be at least one roll of toilet paper in the unit. We stopped before going to the grocery and could not use the potty!!!! We flew so we left three rolls of toilet paper. Whether the cleaning people took them or not we don’t know!
We loved the code on the door, no key or card to have to mess with.

Loved staying here. Perfect overview of the ocean from the balcony. Sat out there every morning with coffee and watched the sunrise. Also took advantage of the 7th floor balcony with hammocks to catch the sunrise as well. So relaxing. And every evening on our balcony with a glass of wine as the sun went down. The pools and hot tubs were such a wonderful amenity and we took advantage of them. The on-site laundry area was a hit for us. The only small compliant I have is, when being out on the balcony, a lot of people who are above you enjoying their balcony’s, tend to drop a lot of food/trash and in our case a pacifier, beach ball and a cigar butt onto our balcony. So there was a lot of picking up other’s trash/belongings that weren’t ours. But it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Just a little inconvenience is all. Other than that it was perfect! Thank you kindly we enjoyed every moment and memories we made. The best part, we got to watch a whole school of dolphins swim by. Probably 8-10 of them. It was perfect!

Enjoyed the condo and amenities, only disappointment was all the people at the pool area were not staying there , watched them come off the street and walk in ( no red bands). Hot tub always full of very small children ( not 14yrs )

We had such a wonderful time we didn't want to leave! The sun deck was amazing and we spent a lot of time out there! The Murphy bed was very comfortable and easy to pull out. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a very nice time in Canada. Wish we would’ve known more of the fact that you cannot use the restaurant nor their bar. Would have even been better if the pool was heated. A little far away from a lot of the activity in Myrtle Beach but that’s no one’s fault. overall a nice experience. Got pissed off at a part need to talk to the Carraville half the time the laundry you could not get change one night the lights were out. May stay there again in the future. Not sure. Thank you.

Positives:
1) The view was nice
Negatives:
1)Too many extra add on fees: My 4 nights stay cost was 42% of the total cost.
2) Since we booked within 30 days we were committed before we could view the rental agreement. If I didn't agree with agreement, I was obligated to follow the cancellation procedure meaning losing my money. The agreement was full of possible extra penalty charges, not making it feel comfortable going in and it was very one sided. For instance if you were to check in early or leave after checkout then you could be charged $100 per hour, but if the cleaning people were not finished by check in time, then they want you to be accommodating to their busy schedule.
3) We arrived Christmas eve around 6pm only to have been given the an email with the security door code to another property of theirs. I had to call their emergency line in order to get straighten out, delaying getting in after an hour with outside temps in the 20s
4) Not provided any paper products (toilet, towels, trash bags) and dish detergent but would be charged for not cleaning up dishes or dumping trash. I agree with cleaning up your own dishes and trash but should be provided
5) Had to pay extra fee for a linen package. You are left with a bag of linens and have to put on the bed yourself. We had a king bed but was supplied a queen and full set.
6) Wife likes baths, she had to re clean tub and no stopper was supplied to take a bath
7) Went to use fitness center but given wrong code. Luckily a maintenance person was there to give me the proper code
8) Wife went to watch DVD movie (they supplied player and DVD player) but no output cables on player to TV so didn't work.
9) No microwave to heat up left over food. The overhead was a convection oven and not microwave
In summation, I got pretty frustrated at times and will not be staying with Ocean Breeze again.

We had a great time! The condo was spacious and clean and quiet. The views from the deck were amazing and we loved having our morning coffee to the sound of waves.
We also enjoyed the resort pool, hot tubs and lazy river. We walked for miles down the beach. There are lots of attractions and restaurants in easy walking distance.
I think this unit being on the corner of the fifth floor is the nicest in the building!

We loved this rental unit. It was exactly as it appears in the pictures. The large patio was so relaxing for sitting out at night. We spent most of our time on the beach and at the pool (loved the lazy river). The Comedy Cabana was a fun night out and Broadway on the Beach has a lot to offer. When we come back, we will definitely book this condo again.

The large deck is what captured my attention. And my husband and I loved the views!!! You are able to see a great distance in both directions. The location was great and parking was decent. There is plenty of room for 2-4 people. Property clean and taken care of. Great vacation!!

Good spot for a trip to Myrtle
Overall a good spot. Obviously it’s summer and there are lots of people in the building. Noise was not a issue. Elevators and parking were not optimal, but certainly could be worse. The unit is fine could use more cooking utensils, but nothing bad. Cable TV didn’t work and no one responded to my email about this. The people in a unit smoked pot almost the entire evening both nights we were there. Other than this I would say stay here.
