Great location, lovely rooms, great to be able to have a room with lots of beds and space for single friends travelling in a group - often hard to find hotels like this. Lovely to be in forest. Small and peaceful.
Would have eaten here more evenings if menu had been more varied. Had buffet one night which was delightful but didn’t want to do the same three nights running as menu was same.

That the room was very spacious and it had AC which was a great relieve. The swimming pool was amazing including the bikes you can rent. We cycled easily to the nearest chateau Chambord and other chateaus.
That there wasn’t a small bar fridge in the room to keep things cool.

Remote and quiet. Private parking. Large room with huge bed and large bathroom. Separate toilet.Staff friendly and eager to please.
Very expensive and not good value. Cheapest bottle of wine was £40. They didn’t tell us the restaurant was full and there’s nothing nearby for food.Luckily they could do a cold meat and salad snack. There were cobwebs and dust in the room and all over the hallway and stairs. The lovely looking bathtub leaked water and flooded the bathroom. They made us wait for the room to be ready and it still had a left over water bottle from the previous occupants. It had a minibar full of expensive drinks but no water to drink was available. The dreadful pod coffee machine produced undrinkable lukewarm liquid and there was no breakfast tea, milk or sugar.No instructions were available for the air-con, coffee machine or TV.

"New facilities in an heritage building. Great room with a private outdoor which was nice. Nice pool on a hot day with lots of children having fun! Dinner was lovely , sitting outside on a warm evening..."
