About this house rental
Situated in Woodstock, this charming house for $434 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. A lovely four bedroom, 3.5 bath multilevel vacation home at South Peak Resort. Located close to downtown Lincoln and not far from the base of Loon Mountain ski area's Timbertown Quad chairlift. This vacation townhouse is accessed from the second level of the building. Once inside, on the entry level, you will find a spacious open concept living, dining and kitchen area with cathedral ceilings. Curl up on one of the couches in the living area, turn on the gas fireplace and watch a DVD. The kitchen offers plenty of space to create your favorite meal and has beautiful stainless steel appliances. Play a game or just enjoy the view while sitting at the high-top dining table. The dining area looks out over the grassy back slope toward the Pemigewasset River. Also on the entry level are two bedrooms (one with two twin beds, the other a queen bed) and a full and half bath. The upper level of the townhouse hosts the primary bedroom suite with queen bed and full private attached bath featuring a tub and separate glass enclosed shower. Additionally on this upper floor are a second bedroom with queen bed, a 3/4 bath and the laundry nook with washer and dryer. Locally you will find plenty of seasonal and year-round activities to fill your time including shopping, golfing, mini-golfing, amusement parks (including a local waterpark), gondola / tram rides, natural attractions, alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, river swimming, kayaking, bird watching and much more. Access to the South Peak Community Outdoor Hot Tub and Fire Pit. Please note grilling is not allowed on South Peak Resort Decks or Patios. Grilling is allowed only on the community gas grill located near the South Peak outdoor hot tub. No personal grills are allowed. Please note: This unit provides two parking spaces. This home has winter ski shuttle access for specific dates as described at /shuttle-service/ South Peak 3G does not offer membership to a pool or fitness center. Pool and fitness club membership of 1+ months can be purchased for a separate drop-in fee at the Mountain Club on Loon or the Nordic Inn Club. This unit does not allow pets. This unit has central air conditioning.

We enjoyed 3G in Building 15. It was clean and the location at the Escape Route made it really easy for all of the skiers. Plus an easy drop off at the South Peak.
There were little issues like doors not locking, a window blind not working, and the seat cushion coming off one dining chair, but someone came out to repair the doors. The 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bags made it feel more spread out for everyone and the living room and open kitchen was great for gathering. Would definitely return.

We were looking forward to this long weekend with family. The check in and Susan (Loon reservations) was wonderful to work with. The condo was ok, no extra essentials available, bring your own salt. You may want to bring your own pillows as well, I had to use the pillows from the couch. They were horrible! The hot tub and fire pit are located two buildings down, not a far walk if it’s warm out. The gas fireplace and appliances were good, plenty of dishes and utinsils.

The place was well kept and very convenient to the lifts (about 1/2 mile walk). There is also a free shuttle.The management company was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We've stayed at South Peak previously so were expecting a similar experience this time around. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. No instructions for TV usage & ultimately called for help. Tech was unable to help & owners son called - still couldn't use the TV for the entire stay. The ceiling in one bedroom was pealing from water damage. Closets were stuffed with blankets/a mess. Kitchen chairs falling apart and filthy as was the tabletop. Kitchen pantry so stuffed and in a mess that the door wouldn't close. Front door keybox stuck & wouldn't work. The best part about this was the kitchen itself which was stocked with all the appropriate cookware & utensils.

the rooms are big and open, yet the bedrooms are quiet. Parking was an issue and confusing. It said we had the garage and space in front of the garage - but couldn't figure out how to get into the garage. All in all it worked out.

Condo was nice and roomy. A few things were broken I.e., lampshade in living area, picture in Master bath, beds were full not Queens, pillows were flat and cheap, clocks on wall did not work, rooms were inconsistent with heating. Upstairs was too hot and downstairs bedrooms to cold, table and chairs in kitchen were stained and not sturdy.

We have never stayed in the South Peak units but always wanted to since the units are newer and it's a great location. This unit 3G was is very BAD condition - Dining room table was so stained and chairs cushions were so gross we hardly sat in them. The beds are not Queen size by any means and the pillows were bad. Their had been a prior water leak in the ceiling of the room with twin beds we noticed upon arrival. The outdoor patio had bag chairs that were awful. The sliders glass was loaded with finger paints when we checked in. The clean upon our entry was sub par as best as we could clearly see dust and lint on rugs in the house. We were really disappointed as we pay the same as the other units that are clearly not as worn or neglected. There are a sign noting to take shoes off at the door but all of our socks were black from the floors. So the floors weren't cleaned between rentals.

The unit definitely needs some “cleaning up”. The walls could use some painting, the kitchen table is stained and could be replaced, the carpets didn’t feel very clean. Also it was surprising to see only one television in the entire unit.

The second concern is that there is not enough hot water to fill a bathtub more than half full. We really enjoyed our stay at South Peak. The location is great, as there is a shuttle that takes you to the mountain. The heat was not working when we arrived, but the management company sent someone over and they were able to fix it that night. My only suggestions would be to check the heat before tenants arrive, and also to provide more essentials (e.g. there were only 2 kitchen trash bags provided). Also, higher quality linens and towels would add a lot to the condo.

Heating system totally unsuitable. We arrived and temp was 56F. Took forever to heat downstairs. Of course upstairs became so hot we slept with windows open. Living room carpet and sofa cover filthy. Not enough xtra blankets for pull out sofa.
