About this house rental
Nestled in Balboa Peninsula, this charming house for $325 per night is a great choice for your next break. Location Location Location! This cozy lower level DUPLEX is just a short block from the sand in one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Southern California. We are just 8 houses from the beach at 127 41st Street on the beach side of Balboa! We are on the corner of Balboa and 41st Street and just blocks from the Newport Pier, Pavillions grocery store, all the fine dining restaurants, and the basketball courts. The home has a great private patio in the front for entertaining or just enjoying the sun. The family room has high ceilings with a ceiling fan, a gas fireplace, bright windows which make it great place to relax after a hard day at the beach or Disneyland. The kitchen is fully stocked and all floors are tile & wood. The Master Bedroom has one Queen bed and the second bedroom has one twin bed and bunk beds. There is a two-car garage with one spot in the garage and one in the rear. The complimentary, shared washer & dryer are inside the garage. By staying at our place you can enjoy the many activities that the Newport Beach Peninsula has to offer. You can enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, sailing, power boat rentals, Catalina Island cruises, Whale watching tours, parasailing, fun zone rides and arcade, and the World Famous 'Wedge' where some of the biggest body surfing waves in the world can be found. Other attractions within a short drive are Disneyland and California Adventure Park, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, Spruce Goose, and many more. And ladies don't forget to visit South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island for the fabulous shopping!

It was a lovely place, so fresh and clean. We really enjoyed having garage parking and access to 3 bikes. Roomy and quaint, the front patio was a nice place to gather the sun. Thank you!

The unit was great and jist as pictured and described. So easy to use the garage space and walkable to parks, restaurants and of course the beach. Would 100% stay at the charming spot again!

The location was exactly where the map showed. Perfect walking distance to everything. The kitchen is newly updated and pictures do not show it. The bedrooms were spacious. The bathroom was new and clean. There is a parking space in the garage but the other tenant takes up at least their half... The upstairs tenant wakes up very very early and loudly walks around their unit every single morning. This woke me up every day until I used a loud white noise on my phone the last night. The master is located right by the main road and the road does get noisy. This did not bother me as much as the loud stomping at 5am. If you bring a sound machine, you will be ok. The mattresses were squeaky and very hard spring mattresses which were not the most ideal. Toilet paper was also limited, no soap or body wash (come prepared), and no wash cloths.
Every place has its quirks. This unit is great with just a couple flaws. It would not stop me from reserving in the future.
We enjoyed the stay neighborhood, the new appliances and ice maker, the garage stored our rented bikes, etc. The shared washer and dryer is new and nice but there is only 1 pod for laundry so come prepared.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The owners were so accommodating and available for any questions. Very clean -needs a bit updating like shower curtain and rod rusted out and vinyl floor needed a clean. The traffic is a bit noisy in master bdrm but it was cozy and comfortable and we would definitely stay again. There were so many well stocked amenities in kitchen and lots of beach toys and bikes!

If you are looking for a perfect place with a young family...this is it! The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating; we had beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. The place was in great condition and modern. We definitely hope to stay again!

Such a great experience. The owners responded quickly with answers to our questions. The property is in the perfect location. We were a tad worried about street noise, but it wasn't an issue at all.

This was a fantastic beach house for our family of five (with young kids). A beautifully remodeled kitchen. Lots of windows and doors to let in the cool ocean breezes. Plenty of space and beds within a very short walk to the beach. Lots of beach things to use. A well-stocked kitchen. And having a garage to ensure a parking spot was super helpful. It’s a short walk to restaurants and groceries. Really a perfect location for this part of Newport. If it works out, we’ll definitely be back.

Great location. The duplex was nicely furnished and walkable distance to restaurants and grocery store and shopping. If there is a negative to this property is that it’s on a very busy street and the master bedroom is on the street. Could not leave the windows open at night. Great price.

Bike Ride
My friends and I had a wonderful girls weekend. Being a block from the beach and a 15 minute walk to many great restaurants was fantastic. With the oil spill just happening we weren't comfortable going in the water so the host was kind enough to leave enough bikes behind for us all to use and ride to the pier and around the neighborhood.
Since we are a bunch of moms with mini vans we were concerned about the small garage and parking space but luckily our arrival time allowed us ample street parking.

We arrived on Wednesday night and left on Friday Morning. The owner Alex communicated everything very well. The house is a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is on Balboa Blvd so you get the noise from traffic when windows are open. However when they are closed the noise is much less. We would rent again.

Great beach rental
We had an amazing time at this property. The location is perfect, within a block to the beach in an area that isn’t super crowded and less than a mile walk to some food and coffee shops. The kitchen is very well equipped and we appreciated the portable fans in each bedroom. Hosts were fantastic with communication and it was a seamless process. Thanks for a great stay!

The property owners are excellent to work with, the check in and check out process was super easy and the rental came with everything you could need at the beach; boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes and even a wagon. 5 stars!

Perfect location in Newport Beach. Freshly remodeled with open floor plan and spacious patio. One block from the beach and walking distance to the promenade, shops, restaurants, bars, pier and grocery store. We had a great week at this vacation home. It was clean and charming. I especially loved the dutch door. The location is super convenient to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops are within 1-1.5 miles. The owners/managers were super communicative and helpful. The only downside is that it is an older building so it has some quirks. The toilet is a litte touchy and the diswasher didnt work. (Owner addressed the problem quickly.) The house is on the corner of balboa which is somewhat of a busy street, but the windows blocked the noise well.
