About this villa rental
Nestled in Bowral, this lovely villa for $287 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our architect designed Villa built for relaxation and entertaining incorporates both an Alfresco area and a beautiful garden back yard. It is both intimate and elegant having recently been fully renovated and painted both inside and outside featuring a gas fire, new air conditioning in all rooms, two new large smart TV’s, new lounges, a Master Bedroom with its’ new Super King Bed and a Second Bedroom with its’ new King Bed that can be split into Two Single Beds. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms with heated floors and heated towel rails. The whole spacious Villa, which looks like something out of a magazine including all of the comforts of home, is yours to escape to & enjoy. Perfect for golfing weekends, wedding guests, girls' weekends, romantic weekends, families and business travellers etc. We are also Pet Friendly. Our Villa is a flat 3 minute walk to the heart of Old Bowral with its restaurants, cafés and boutiques, gorgeous parks, museums, galleries, vineyards and golf courses. For larger groups we can offer accommodation for up to 14 people with our two Hidden Door properties and our secluded private luxury boutique home, Hall House, which is also within minutes walk to the heart of Old Bowral: • The Hidden Door Cottage - 2 Bedrooms - Sleeps 4 - 1 Bathroom; • The Hidden Door Villa - 2 Bedrooms - Sleeps 4 - 2 Bathrooms; and • Hall House - 3 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6 – 2 Bathrooms and a Luxury Outdoor Spa. The Hidden Door Cottage & Villa are both self contained and separate. All of our properties, which are under separate listings, have been recently renovated both inside and outside. Hall House is our only property that does NOT allow pets. We can split the King Bed in our Second Bedroom into Singles. We cannot split our Super King Bed in the Master Bedroom. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like the King Bed split. All beds are fitted with electric blankets for the cooler nights. We are only a phone call away, so don't hesitate to call us if you'd like tips on where to visit, shop and dine in the Highlands. Live like a local, regardless of the length of your stay. The Southern Highlands is a beautiful year-round destination. Stop-in-your-track colour characterises autumn; snow sometimes accompanies winter; spring dazzles with its kaleidoscope of colour; and summer warm days with low humidity. Bowral is a such a safe destination, so you can wander to your heart's content. Our Villa is within walking distance of the train station and Bowral is serviced by taxis. If you have your own car, there is free unlimited parking right out the front on The Hidden Door side of Bundaroo Street (and around the corner in Bendooley Street). Across the road there are some parking restrictions during weekday business hours and Saturday morning.

This Villa was the ideal size and layout. Just what we needed and the location in Bowral was awesome. We were lucky to have some lovely sunny days and some poorer weather and the unit is cool when required and cosy and warm when needed. Equipped with luxury fittings and appliances and beautiful decor. The groom and male wedding party prepared here, and had plenty of space to accommodate the extra adults comfortably.

This is a fantastic villa which was perfect for 2 couples. The attention to detail is spectacular. We were able to walk everywhere and we didn’t need our car unless we were leaving Bowral. We would definitely stay here again

Nice, comfortable property close to town
Very nice, spacious 2 bed property in great central location. The only thing stopping us giving it a 5 star rating was the lack of heating in the bedrooms. There are electric blankets but I don't like sleeping with them on so it was v cold at night & when changing.

Wonderful little villa, great location
We booked a few days away at the last minute and so glad we chose the Hidden Door Villa. It's conveniently located close to all the bars, restaurants, stores in Bowral and we had a lot of fun exploring the town and outskirts on foot. Bowral is also convenient to many of the vineyards and other beautiful aspects of the Southern Highlands. We visited Bendooley Estate, Berrima, Bundanoon, Fitzroy Falls and Kangaroo Valley. The villa itself is very nicely appointed and was a great size for our family of 4 and our small dog (who also enjoyed his time away, new trees, new dogs etc). We would definitely go back to the Villa next time we're after a quiet, relaxing stay in the Southern Highlands.

Third World Country????
Good evening, Could you please explain, why my family and I were subjected to the appalling sewage smell that seeped throughout the villa, coming from the laundry during our stay. Now call this coincidental, But my 80 year old mother and myself have spent the last 10 days with a violent outbreak of gastroenteritis, plus the vomiting, that started on the Saturday night during our stay. After many trips to the doctors we are both on strong antibiotics, the symptoms only easing today. Let me state this, we both used the laundry, where the stench was coming from, I even got done to the drain to to try to mask the smell with some of your products. We spent the entire time with the windows and doors open, but the day of my sons wedding was appalling (Friday), I have no problem in giving you the names of the local Photographer and Makeup artist that were there at the time to verify the authenticity of the this complain, I am embarrassed, disgusted, that this was allowed to happen, especially on my son's wedding day, especially that I had my dear 80 year mother staying. Now someone is neglecting their responsibilities, for hygiene and this doesn't sit lightly with me. I also would like to state that nobody else out of 120 people at a wedding have been sick or food poisoned, the 3 guests that stayed the duration, were the only ones affected. I f you are wondering why this was not brought to your attention sooner, no-one was well enough at the time to do so. I am giving you the opportunity to response, because I intend to take this as far as possible, including the health authorities. We are not desperate needy people, a full refund would not even come close to the humiliation and suffering this has cause my family. Surely you are fully aware of the possibilities of this situation occurring, if you are on septic tank, because if you are not, them your management is questionable, and the public is at risk.I will not hesitate to advise the necessary authorities, so no-one else, let alone small children are exposed to such neglect. Please give me call

A Wonderful escape away.
We had a girls weekend away and found the accommodation absolutely beautiful, spacious and well kept. We were within walking distance to town centre, shops and restaurants. There was an issue with gas fire place but still had air-conditioning and the property managers kept us informed and looked after us.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be back.
