Our family had a very enjoyable stay over the holidays! The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own breakfast, a variety of tea, candy and snacks were available, and it was within easy walking distance to get groceries and excellent restaurants of all varieties! The beds were very comfortable and the location was within easy access to downtown Chicago. It was the perfect place to have a slower few days and explore at our leisure. We are definitely interested in returning.

This is a great place for a family or other small group of adults. Both of my kids, 22 & 16, loved the apartment as did we. A couple of minor repairs would add to overall attractiveness of what is a very beautiful place. Location is perfect and simply very fun. You won't be disappointed!

It was comfortable, homey, and well stocked with everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable.

Great spot for weekend stay if going downtown or a game. Supplies are plenty in this second story apartment. Very well equipped with snacks, and coffee. Liked that it had 1 parking spot too. Only thing I'd say, was that its in old little Italy and is above a restaurant and floors are hardwood so hear upstairs neighbors and noise from downstairs.

The apartment was beautiful and the host responded to us quickly. I recommend asking him for parking vouchers so you can park behind the building rather than paying for street parking. Also, there were some cleanliness issues my mom fpund, such as weave (fake hair) on one of the bedroom floors, a pot of coffee from last guests still sitting there, and she had to wipe dried feces from the guest toilet as both bathrooms did not appear to have been deep cleaned. He let us check in early, which we greatly appreciate it.

We enjoyed our girls weekend very much and the vrbo was perfect. Just be aware if you are overpackers like us, that you are climbing stairs to get to the unit. :-)
We enjoyed our stay very much - accommodations were perfect! Thank you!

Bella Vista was perfect for a long weekend in Chicago. The place was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The snacks and coffee were the icing on the cake. There were lots of cute restaurants nearby and it was an easy walk to the pink line to train into the loop. Staying here was the perfect Chicago experience.

Stay was great! Plenty of room for our family, 3 adults a teenager, 9yr old and toddler. Great location with lots of options for meals, close to the Pink line and the bus so no need to worry about parking anywhere we went. Will definitely check to see if this apartment is available next time we come to Chicago! My granddaughter still got her scrambled eggs every morning like at home which made her day!
Thank you for a great place to stay instead of multiple hotel rooms!

Apartment was wonderful!! Perfect location for walking around, transportation and delicious restaurants! The apartment was clean, comfortable beds and filled with all kinds of extras. Highly recommend this apartment!!

The apartment was very nice and clean. John thinks of everything you could imagine. The little details were a huge plus. Great location, easy walk to the L. Will definitely come back.

Great spot located down in Little Italy area of Chicago. Tons of restaurants within walking distance and a short Uber ride to all the major attractions, Navy Pier, Soldier Field, Magnificent Mile, McCormick Center, etc. Very happy with our stay here!

We stayed at this lovely property for the Chicago marathon. It is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. There were snacks, coffee, toiletries stocked - maybe the most thoughtful property I have ever rented. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful. Would happily stay again. One note* the bar downstairs is quite loud. I am a heavy sleeper but my daughter had a hard time with patio karaoke going on until quite late all weekend outside of her window. That was the only downfall. Otherwise, this was a great stay!

I stayed in this beautiful apartment with 7 friends for 5 nights. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very spacious, and came fully stocked with all we needed and more including giant jars of candy and snacks which we definitely made use of. The location was perfect, with many restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance. John was very accommodating by letting us check in early and was extremely helpful and attentive when we had an issue with the lockbox. Overall, I would most definitely stay here again next time we're in Chicago. Thanks for everything, John, we'll be back.

This is the best VRBO we have stayed in! Everything we could have needed/wanted was there and it was super comfortable and clean.
Great neighborhood with some restaurants, coffee shops, and walkable (10 min) to the pink line L train. Also can’t beat a free parking space in Chicago!

Perfect location to enjoy the Italian Street Festival in Little Italy. This apartment had everything furnished you could think of. Extremely clean and very comfortable. John, the host, could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend this apartment.

Very comfortable, well equipped and convenient to Chicago's landmarks. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The location is amazing- many bars and restaurants nearby. Rosebud & The Embassy for dinner and Stax for breakfast are highly recommended. There was some confusion with parking, but the owner was prompt in responding. The apartment was thoughtfully stocked with lots of nice touches including snacks and comfy beds. Highly recommend.

While doing a a trade show in Chicago we wanted to help a new member feel at home and learn from our current rep. Sharing a VRBO in a fun part of town before and after show hours turned out to be a great experience AND a much better rate than any close to McCormick hotel could provide.

Amenities were so appreciated !!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 5! Tons of great restaurants within walking distance, washer & dryer, fridge, dishwasher & all of the dishes/silverware anyone would want. Close to CTA transit. Only heard music from bar on one night and it wasn’t too loud.
If your looking for a comfortable, safe, and spacious place to stay for a family or group of 6-7 people just a few minutes from Downtown Chicago, look no further……this place is FANTASTIC!

I would like to thank John for helping us have a wonderful stay in Chicago. His property in Little Italy was exactly as posted, meaning it had plenty of space for my family of five. John was very accommodating, allowing us to drop off our luggage a little before check-in time, and keep it there a few hours after check out. This really helped us in terms of coordinating with our arrival and departure into Chicago. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Chicago. It’s location out of the downtown area makes it even better, as you can walk around the neighborhood, visiting little shops, stores, and restaurants. I would happily stay there again!

Our group of 8 was in town for a concert and John's property exceeded our expectations. The apartment was clean, stocked with snacks, extra towels, sheets and just about anything you could possibly need. John was extremely accommodating with our request to check in a little earlier due to the concert timing and was very responsive. Although we mostly took an uber to areas like the west loop and wrigley field, the neighborhood was charming and everything we needed (liquor store, starbucks, grocery store, breakfast places etc.) was within walking distance. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was so comfortable and only a 10 minute walk to the train. The owner provided some much appreciated extras like plenty of coffee for the grown-ups and plenty of snacks for the grandkids.
Truly, the only negative we experienced, was trying to find how to get in and where to park. We may have missed an email with instructions since the only thing we received was the unit number and the lockbox code. It was a little challenging to figure out where the door entry was and we had no idea where the parking spot was. However, after two phone calls, and a text to the owner , it was all worked out and our frustration quickly dissolved since the unit was so clearly perfect for our stay.
We would absolutely stay here again.

This property was a good fit for our family. Their was a small jazz band playing at the tea house below, which provided some free extra entertainment. When it was time for bed the noises from below and other outside nightlife were easily drowned out by double-paned windows and small sound machines brought from home. Tip: plan your meals accordingly. Several times our intended plans were cancelled because restaurants close earlier than expected.
Property was well stocked with toiletries and had some welcome snacks, which were appreciated.

We went for my son’s graduation. Great location. Beautiful apartment. Comfortable beds. Very nice area/location. Would stay again.

We have stayed at VRBO's many times in the past but the attention to detail at Bella Villa is second to none! This is a lovely home in a great location and we never felt unsafe. Even though the condo is above a popular restaurant/bar we were never disturbed by noise. Beds were comfy and towels were fluffy! John was easy to deal with and responded quickly to any inquires we had - even recommended serval nearby restaurants for us to try! You will not be disappointed with this home!

We stayed for 2 nights with (2)adults & (4) teenage girls, Tuesday-Thursday.
Everything was exactly as advertised & this is definitely the most comfortable rental I have stayed in. It doesn’t feel like a rental with all the comforts of home & well stocked EVERYTHING.
Lots of pillows & blankets & beds were great to sleep in. The pull-out bed, as the girls say, was fine once you found a good spot to settle.
There is a a bus stop (blue line?) right at the intersection in front & about a 10 min walk to the pink line (elevated) train station. We used both & loved the ease, being very new to public transit.
Food options, grocery stores & 7/11 are all minutes away by walking. We parked our car once & didn’t use it again until heading home. We used Instacart for just a few items & they were there in less than 20 minutes.
Music at the bar was minimal or non-existent since it was the middle of the week. Street noise was as expected for location but still very minimal.
Safety is always a concern and never did we feel any danger there.
Communication was fine for what we needed which wasn’t much. I did ask if we could check in an hr early & never heard back but by the time we got there, it was about 15 minutes early & we got in just fine. He did offer suggestions for where to go & that was appreciated!
I would definitely stay here again - it is a great option!

Great place and location, easy access to train downtown. Lots of restaurants close by. Only issue was one night of loud music from bar close by. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great location to be close to the things to do and see in Chicago, while avoiding the busier parts of downtown and high cost of hotels. The apartment is a good space with three bedrooms and two bathrooms which allows it to be roomy enough for larger groups. The neighborhood is lovely with so many food options (we loved Rosebud, Al’s #1 Italian Beef, Kong Dogs, and Stax) and it is very walkable to a number of bus lines that take you into the city. The bus schedule was not always on time, but they are regular and lots of nearby options. The neighborhood felt safe, is relatively close to airports, and it was nice to have a parking spot when needed. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and pillows and nice towels and amenities. There was some occasional neighborhood noise but nothing worse than you’d expect in a multi use neighborhood such as this. John was very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our trip to see the best that Chicago has to offer and having a comfortable place to stay in made it all the easier.

Enjoyed our stay for our daughter’s graduation! The apartment was great. Had everything we needed, the rooms were very nice, the location was central to where we had to go and the airport. Would highly recommend staying here again!

This rental and location could not have been better! Our family of adult children ages 18-25 fit perfectly in this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom flat. The little touches were much appreciated including 3 ways to make coffee in the morning. The towels and supplies were plentiful. The neighborhood of Little Italy was quiet in the morning and lively in the evening which was the perfect mix for us. This is the first time our family visited Chicago without a rental car and we loved not driving. Our host was easy to communicate with and the whole rental process was smooth. We loved chatting with the locals at the little market next store. Such a welcoming community!

This property is adorable and in a neighborhood that has so much to offer. There are a ton of great restaurants, and it's easy to use public transportation. The apartment was clean and comfortable and provided many amenities. John was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to help our group and provide recommendations. You should probably bring earplugs if you stay on the weekends. The bar below can be a little noisy--especially on karaoke night. ;-)

We had a great experience with this property! After all of the travel from the airport it was a welcome sight to see it was extremely clean, attractive, and inviting. It went the extra mile by providing some complimentary snacks, which the kids loved. We felt safe in the area. Overall, no complaints and would recommend.

Apartment is 2nd floor, full of natural light in the living area and had many fine touches. Well equiped kitchen (incl. coffee, tea, snacks); very comfortable beds(with additional blankets), charging extensions in every room, bathrooms with extensive toiletries (even a mounted makeup mirror). Was unable to use washer due to faulty door lock. Lots of local restaurants and groceries. Apartment is above a bar that can get VERY loud. After complaint to apartment owner it seemed bar management changed the location of the music. In subsequent nights there was same music but more muffled and tolerable. I assume this was due to rearrangement of staging in the bar. We enjoyed the time we spent in the apartment and would return and/or recommend to others.

We were so pleased with this flat in Little Italy. Location was great, the flat was beautiful and very clean. Spacious, we loved having two bathrooms, the three bedrooms and it was stocked with anything we could of needed. U shared photos online and several people have asked me for the link to the rental. We would love to return here again one day!

This property was perfect in every way!!! We stayed with our family of 5, which consisted of husband and wife and three teens. And everyone LOVED the spot! The neighborhood is amazing with everything in walking distance, including a short walk to the train that takes you into the city. It was exceptionally clean, with plenty of space and better stocked than any other vacation home that we’ve ever stayed in. The owner also answered any questions very quickly, and even the neighbors were very welcoming and helpful with questions asked about the city. We would definitely recommend, and we will stay here again when we return to Chicago!
