After enjoying your coffee, perhaps a stroll over the dune walk to the beach to search for seashells or sea glass, or just enjoy the sound of the waves. If you feel the need to stay connected watch the morning news on the flat-screen TV in the living room or rec room.If you need to log on to your laptop to let everyone know what a great time you are having at Ocean's Edge, we offer free WiFi. You are just a short ride away from many activities, Jennette's Pier our newest pier, Jockey's Ridge State Park, Wright Brothers Memorial, historic downtown Manteo, or the North Carolina Aquarium in Manteo. Enjoy some of our favorite restaurants, Sam & Omies for breakfast or lunch, Owens for dinner, Basnights Lone Cedar Cafe, Tale of the Whale or Sugar Creek Seafood Restaurant all on the Causeway to Manteo, Lucky 12 for lunch and dinner. After dinner, you can head to Dairy Queen or Fatboyz for some delicious ice cream. After you have enjoyed the day, have dinner in the oceanfront dining room and watch the ocean colors change as the sun sets in the west. Gather up the family for a game of pool in our first floor Recreation Room, or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. We came in from the UK, PA, SD and Va! We had an amazing time! Oceans Edge was fantastic - easy access to anything and everything we wanted to do! We will be back!

The house met all of our needs, some updated USB plugs or clocks with usb ports would be nice. The driveway is tricky for motorcycles but doable. The hot tub and pool are wonderful but make sure you put all your food away at night and clean up the counters. We noticed a couple of unwanted bug visitors but it was isolated to the kitchen area. Overall great place to stay and wouldn’t stop us from coming back again.

The property was great. Like all rentals it has wear and tear and missing pieces but overall it was great.
We did face a tropical storm the last three days but we weathered through!!
Overall we had a fantastic time!!!!!

House seemed clean and comfortable , and we were
barely settled in before mandatory evacuation order
was announced and we left for Elizabeth City.
We we’re not allowed back for 5 nights , and by then
had to return home to New Jersey.

This was in a good location, ocean front. Not a great beach area because the waves break so close to shore but there is a sandy area in front of the house and out from the pool. The pool was not heated, and one day I got 6 crabs out of it and the other days more like 2 were removed. The biggest issue with this home was lack of parking. Very tight for two vehicles and the parking as you come into the driveway was overtaken by the neighbor who we counted had 11 cars, 2 at the house and the other nine on their extra space and ours.

This was a terrible vacation. Some had to do with the weather but some with the house. We did not know going in that this 3 story house had the kitchen and living area was on the 3rd floor. We never would have rented it had we known that. My husband and I are in our 60's and I have had both knees replaced as well as both hips. We also had several added fees from the realty company Administrative fees and cleaning fees. We had expected to be able to swim in the heated pool, another fee. The advertised ice maker had some black stuff growing inside so we had to buy ice anyhow. Will never rent this house again and I will never use VRBO again. Be honest with people so they can make good decisions. The realty company Village Realty in Nags Head was not help[ful and there employees were not very pleasant.

Great week stay after Hurricane Florence ,no damage. the house is clean plenty of room for everyone short walk to the waters edge, and the view was gorgeous. definitely would stay here again!!

House is great with good location. House is very well maintained and everything inside is in perfect working order. We were just a little disappointed that the hot tub was moved off the balcony and outdoor shower is gone.

We enjoyed the location but the house was musty and nothing would dry inside the house. We did have a lot of rain so that could have contributed to it but we kept the doors and windows closed so not sure. Also we had 17 people which was fine for the amount of bedrooms but not enough seating area for socializing. Ended up rearranging the furniture to make more room and seating area. Had lots of kitchen pots, pans and dishes. Also could use a better area for cleaning feet. Sand just accumulated around the feet washing area and it was then tracked Into the pool and first floor.

Third year renting this unit. It works perfectly for us. When we have any problem they are right there to fix it. Plenty of parking and always clean and kitchen is always well supplied. Beds made up and ready for us. Hope to be there again next year.

This is the 3rd time in 6 years that my group of friends has taken an OBX vacation. This is by far the best house we've had. The size of the house was perfect. Location is great as everything is nearby (shops, restaurants etc). First time we've ever had a beachfront house and from now on we wouldn't have it any other way. Awesome customer service as all of our issues were looked at the very next day. Thank you for letting us stay in this gorgeous house.
